The pictures and the description both refer to the brackets as inclusive; however, they did not send them. When a missing hardware request was submitted, a rep named Amy E. initially attributed the inconsistency to the manufacturer and essentially dismissed my claim. But I was able to talk to a rep named Joe who took my dilemma forward to a supervisor and they made good to provide the brackets. Shouldn't have had to work this hard to get what was advertised but grateful to Joe and Ecklers for finally taking responsibility.

I picked out one with a three year replacement warranty (since that's how long my previous battery lasted.) despite the fact that it was raining and cold, and the store apparently had a recent rush of customers, the salesperson wheeled the battery and his tools out to my car and perforated the replacement. I was happy he did -- the retaining bolts were a little tricky to deal with, even for a pro like himself. I've always been impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in Advance Auto Parts stores.

I requested three feet of 1/4" FIFH and three feet of 3/8" FIFH. The two employees one in training, the second heavy set associate. Both handled my order. After a while the trainee returned with the 1/4"fuel injection hose. The 1/4 " fuel hose was clearly labeled fuel injection fuel hose. Then after a while he returned with the 3/8" hose that was labeled armormark 50281. When I asked both workers if it was in fact fuel injection hose? They both looked at the screen and stated yes it is fuel injection hose. Which is (and was a lie.) The upsetting thing is this store is a training store for other Advance Auto stores. If this is the way that Advance Auto employees lie to a customers face. It is very poor customer service. Some people on a fixed income, don't need the aggravation of being lied to. So before I installed this hose, I looked up the part number. It is in fact transmission hose. Which is not compatible with a fuel injection system. Then phoned my wife and asked my wife to return to the Lockport Advance auto store and purchase the proper hose. She did, but she needed to drive twenty five miles round trip. To where I was working on the car on a lift. Today I returned to Lockport New York Advance auto store to exchange the above transmission hose, for the proper fuel injection hose. I asked to speak with the store manager in private. I stated the two employees that assisted me were african american. To this the store manager stated hold it I'm african american. Where are you going with this? First off I'm a paying customer who is complaining of poor service. I don't know that I would get much done outside of an oil change or inspection, but every time they have done something for me, it's been fine. They had the Ariens Platinum 30" 414cc snowblowers in stock and on sale. When I walked in, they had my machine all prepped ready to go with a sold sign on it. (Pay cash if you can so you don't get charged a small percentage if you put it on your card) They saved me about $300...plus the great customer service made the 30 minute drive from West Seneca worth it. I did try to deal with Schaub Equipment in West Seneca since they are just 5 minutes away from me. I will never again step foot in that place. Their customer service skills are terrible...nothing new though with this place. Miserable and condescending p****s.
