Great first impression but things went a little sideways during installation…read more Last week I called in about the price for studded winter tires and wheels. As the associate spoke to me, I took notes. $110 per tire, $22 per tire to add studs. $77 per wheel. The total I was given was $862. I confirmed this number. Afterwards I did the math and my total came to $836. That's fine, maybe there's a service fee or something. I called the next day and said let's go ahead and do it. I was told the tires would take 3 to 5 days to come in and then they would be studded on site. I didn't think to confirm the price again. A few days later I got a call that the tires came in, that they would be studded and mounted to the wheels, and did I want to make an appointment. I said I would call back to schedule an appointment. Two days later they called to remind me that my tires were there and ready. So I called back and scheduled an appointment. This morning I arrived for my appointment over an hour early. Luckily they were able to help me right away. When I was told the total was $986.24 I was a little bit shocked. I couldn't figure out where the additional $124 came from, and neither could the associate who was helping me. Another employee overheard and asked what was going on. I'm assuming he was a manager because he really did everything he could to try to help me. Maybe I wasn't quoted for labor/installation? Maybe they didn't quote the certificate/optional warranty? He was able to lower the price down to $936. Sure, let's go ahead and do it. A little while later someone came out from the back to tell me not all the tires had been studded, and then it would take a little while longer than expected because they had to be studded. Okay... thanks for letting me know I guess. Another slight annoyance. About an hour later my car was done. Everyone was really nice the whole way through, really informative and answered my questions. I wish this had gone a little better, but it's sort of a running joke that things go wrong when I'm involved. I'll definitely keep coming back since it will be free to switch back to my summer tires. Unless something goes wrong there too and they try to charge me. (Just kidding...? Hopefully this doesn't happen) I'm hesitant to say who helped me, since this review isn't great. But all the employees seem wonderful, especially the one who helped lower the cost by $50.

Came here to get a flat repaired (I got my tires from the discount tire in Helena 3/4 years…read moreago...). I had no idea they had been here for six months. I received wonderful customer service. I ended up getting a new rim to match my set (long story) and new tires, it was past the time I think I put 76,000 miles on those, they were able to order the rim and get me in quickly. Great service from management and the technician side. Plus they give a military discount. Great experience!

They also had to change out the rotors which I am always suspicious of but the technician explained really nicely what the situation was and how I can take better care of the vehicle to prevent this in the future (which, by the way, is to wash your undercarriage during the winter to prevent salt corrosion to the rotors). The team took care of my vehicle at the appointment time and finished when they said they would. Everyone I spoke with was polite and friendly which is a bonus at a time when everyone is super busy. He had to have gotten the keys and Title from their friend who had already agreed to meet with me a few days later. Clearly he felt the need to hurry and go buy it as soon as possible before I had the chance to wrap things up. He knew full well that he wouldn't have even known it was for sale unless I had called Transolutions asking about it. According to him, he said "if anyone's in line before me to buy it, sell it to them", but the granny didn't remember that her daughter already told her it was sold. I pointed out to Brian that he was literally going against his own word, and his response was that it was "God's will". I asked Brian if he was a good God-fearing Christian, and he said "of course!". Sorry Brian, but I really don't think Jesus would approve of your slimy behavior. If someone is willing to act like this as an individual, I doubt they'll have any integrity in running a business.
