Oh walmart. I have a love hate relationship with you. All I needed was a hdmi cable and I waited 20 mins for someone to help me because they were locked up. Asked Monique and she replied with I have 3 customers ahead of you and Gary took forever with the same people trying to explain something. I shop at walmart regularly..I have given them a million chances...This was my last straw...I went up to pay for my things..This lady was rude as can be...She screamed at me that she was closed...The light was still on...She didnt have a closed sign up...she yelled in front of complete strangers...I asked to speak to a manager...I waited for 10 minutes...i saw her talking to two other girls...They were all looking at me..I went to customer service they paged her again...I found her at register 9..I told her about the customer service i had...all she said was that she sent her on a break and she addressed it to her...I got the feeling she wasnt going to do anything..There all buddies..Im taking this up with corporate...This isnt the first time this has happened with this lady... read more

I hate this Walmart, well any for that matter, but this one takes the cake! I have had to call a few time looking for a item and I've gotten the same lady every time, extremely rude, doesn't even really help and doesn't go look for the item or even check just says if they have it "its" in whatever isle. Obviously I'm calling to check if you have it before I waste my time searching the store for no reason!!! They are out of stock a lot of times, you can never find a employee when you need one, maneuvering around the Isles is ridiculous they have too much displays and over stock in the isles. I hate all Walmarts but my husband insists on going there for car oil whenever he does our oil changes. But why is there always a screaming, tantruming child under the age of 5?! I've never seen a cashier as slow as I did today. At some point, she she stopped scanning and bagging and was having a full blown conversation with the woman in front of us who bumped her gums the entire time she was checking out. Me and my mom gave eachother the wide eyed "WTF" looks and were about to day something. About 10 people from other lines breezed by before this cashier bagged 7 items. I've honestly never seen a slower cashier. Shirley was her name I believe. Very Pleasant and kind, but zero consideration to Expedite the process. Walmart is famous of their friendly and nice staffs ( in my opinion). But this walmart is different, their cashiers are stingy. Staffs who served in customer service are mean, female greeter (a middle aged skinny lady with long hair) is top of it, in negative way. Meets my needs for basic core household items at the right price.

If I could I would give this place no stars! DO NOT GO TO THIS WAL MART AVOID IF POSSIBLE! I am not a fan of Wal-Mart really in the first place but hey.. it is cheap. But this one is just flat out terrible! On more than one occasion this specific location has wasted my time and pissed me off. One specific time it was midnight the release time of Super Mario Galaxy 2. I go and it does not seem to be in display yet, okay, that is fine. I go ask a manager if they are carrying it. She says "Oh I don't know I will send someone up to help you." Okay. The lady suppose to be working in the electronics area was no where to be found. 10 minutes later I see her and she tells me they should have it but it is probably in one of these unpacked boxes that she hasn't had time to open yet this evening. I said okay well I will wait around for it. After an hour and a half with her periodically saying haven't seen it and going to have them check the truck for it she finally tells me that its being shipped via fedex and probably won't arrive until tomorrow and to check back then. WOW okay. I went to the Wal-mart on Aero drive for one last try before I was going to give up. Amazingly they were prepared and were handing them out to a bunch of people. Knowing it was the best game of the year to come out and customers were going to be wanting it then and now. So thankfully I got to go home at 1:30AM and finally play it until I couldn't keep my eyes open. On another occasion I wanted to print pictures off of my flash drive. So of course knowing Wal-Mart had 1-hour photo with decent prices I headed on down. I approached and the machine had a sign that said no one-hour photo at this time. I was like.. okay. I inserted my flash drive and it gave me the option of "printing in hours" or "printing in days." I figured hours was more than one hour so it was still an option. So of course I clicked that one. I could come back later that day and pick them up, not a big issue. Once done with my order I received my receipt. It said pick up time in an hour and a half. I was like.. Wow cool I will just walk around for a bit then pick it up. No point in leaving for only an hour and a half. So that hour and a half was really long. I mean LONG. I know where everything in that Wal-Mart is located. I got a few things in my cart and thought to myself what a great way for them to get more sales with people waiting around for pictures. When it was five minutes till the time I went up to the desk. I asked the lady if my pictures were done even though I know they still had 5 more minutes. She said we don't have one hour photo right now. I was like... um... the machine said it would be done at this time. I was really confused. She said yeah that is why we have the sign. I was like okay when will they be ready then? She said I don't know it could be days or weeks. We don't have the chemicals to print right now. I said, "you don't know when?" And she replied. "No, we have no idea." So I wanted to cancel my order and the response was well just don't pick them up then. I was pissed. REALLY!? You need a sign that you can't do any photos at this time! Only one hour photo isn't available my BUTT! I at that time being furious I waited for nothing ripped my receipt and threw it on the ground. Then I left my stuff I was going to purchase so mad I felt like crying. I will never go back to this Wal-Mart location again. I can deal with dumb people but not idiots. read more

People that work there are very rude , not all but some I asked for help and they just say it's over and the people that stand by the door go check are very weird this one guy name Diego is always staring at he asked for my number once and kept insisting told the manager I don't feel comfortable and he just said okay sorry . I can't deny it... I'm a fan of wal-mart. They sell everything & for the most part they sell it at a bargain. Being a nurse across the street I thought it seemed like the most convenient solution to my need to shop late night. But Grossmonts 24hr wal-mart... Really guys?! You do realize you are open 24hours to the public right? So maybe after 10pm you should still conduct yourselves as a business serving customers. It is a fun house maze in there after 10pm! Beg a shopper for an injury lawsuit why don't ya?! How many boxes is one person really stocking in one aisle anyways? And why are there 103 employees on the floor but nobody 'works in this department' & has a clue?! I love hip hop as much as the next person but after midnight the censor button gets put away and I may not want to hear about 'booties rockin everywhere' as I troll the aisles lost looking for an item 'Juan' told me is upstairs but turns out to be downstairs & out of stock. And as many have posted on their reviews indeed, the freaks do come out at night! I went here at 1130 and heard their registers would be closed at 1150 til 1201. Ok no big deal I wander the aisles longer. At 1215 I figure the registers are open & the line should have tapered off... WRONG! I'm #13 in line and there's ONE register open. 103 employees on the clock - 1 cashier. (Ok maybe not 103 but u get the point!) After 10mins of not moving in line the woman in front of me turns to vent to my friend & I at how ridiculous this is and how the line has grown to 23 people. The poor lone cashier looks like she's given up hope & proceeds to checking out the customers at the rate of mollases. Me being me, I spot a hefty worker chill-axing on the handicap electric wheelchairs @ the entrance chatting it up with the male greeter. I request her to call the manager & with her eyes rolling she proceeds to a register while I wait & she scowls at me. After concluding that management is in a shift change meeting she decides to 'end her break early to help out' & open a register. All applauds to me from the irritated line of customers when I returned to my friend. All these people stocking next to us no one has the initiative to call for assistance? This is the effort minimum wage begets. We know its late wal-mart but that doesn't warrant shotty service. ! I never shop at this particular wal-mart anymore. read more

They implemented a mandatory checkout at the cosmetics and it is seriously a pain. I refuse to go into that section anymore. I have tried twice and the line takes FOREVER and then I have to get into the regular line for my other items when I'm finished shopping. No! It really sucks because we will not go to the one on college and Target doesn't carry all the brands but at this point I will just stick with whatever Target does carry. RIDICULOUS. read more

I have never had any issues at this Wal-Mart. They have great prices & a large selection. I had a pleasant experience today as I went for some makeup. When I was checking out my makeup, the woman ringing my item up (I think her name tag said Terry) was incredibly friendly. I watched her carry on a conversation with the woman in front of me, and then once I got to the front, she made conversation with me as well & that topped off my wal-mart trip very nicely. Laura or Lauren F. Is the first Wal-Mart employee to ever voluntarily help me to my car. I've been shopping at Wal-Mart for 15 years. She did so without any instruction or me asking. She was so incredibly nice. I was trying to get storage containers to my car and I had mentioned that they kept falling. She just picked one up and said "Lets go." I was shocked and so genuinely happy. That was the nicest thing to do. So many people talk so negatively about Wal-Mart employees. They don't know how difficult it is to constantly work with the public and work in customer service. But Laura/Lauren F. Went above and beyond in my opinion. Walmart is really going downhill fast. At this particular Walmart they are out of a lot of item and the shelves are empty in some of the departments. The workers are very apathetic and very unhelpful if not spiteful. I like the fact that there's a McDonalds in the Walmart here. Packed in a mall shitty parking and no Pharmacy...

I came to this Walmart a week ago because I was trying to sell a PlayStation. The guy was not there yet so I decided to walk around. I spent around 20 minutes walking around this Walmart and looking at there tech and fishing equipment. This place has about every single video game I enjoy playing in stock. They have lots of tvs in stock. They have such a wide variety of stuff that other Walmart's do not. The only reason I am giving this place a 4 instead of a 5 was because there were lots of fishy people outside this Walmart that starred at you while you walked out. Normally this Walmart is fine but today i had a BAD rude experience. Lazy worker. I went on my lunch break to buy ammo and asked a clerk to help since they keep it locked up. She said she didn't have a key and would "have to call someone". I never heard a page or phone conversation and she came back a few minutes later and just stood there. After 10 minutes of waiting and no word from clerk or anyone showing up to open case, I asked her if someone was coming and she said, "yes" but did nothing but stand there. No one showed and I had to leave. Either the clerk is anti-gun and doesn't believe in selling ammo..or she is completely NOT customer service oriented. read more

I'm not usually one to write a review about restrooms. But this was something I couldn't let go. Came into Walmart to buy a couple things but decided to use the restroom first. As you walk into the male bathroom you get slapped in the face with this smell of old pee like the kind you smell downtown with a hint of vinegar. Looking around there is dirt on the floor and some kind of colored powder like a nerds factory had exploded in there. Not to mention the unusual amount of toilet paper all over the floor and curiously business cards. The porcelain is stained with the pee from Christopher Columbus which looks like it has become the permanent orange look of the white porcelain. You get the uneasy feeling that you will catch all the diseases as you try to handle your business. The worst part of all of this is, it's right next to the McDonald's which means this is where the employees go to... then handle your food. This is disgusting. read more

This location is super center of all Walmart super centers. Located at Grossmont Center and occupying the old Montgomery Ward's location, this place is huge. It's two levels and has everything Walmart. Like most other locations, there are plenty of check stands, but most are never open. Not sure what was going on, but this place was bumping at ten o'clock on a Friday night. Only one full service register was open, but they do have a self check, which was about seventy-five percent operational. I was able to grab exactly what I needed and get in and out quickly, despite the hoards of people doing the Friday night Walmart Shuffle. read more

once again i'm amazed that the store remains in business. A gift certificate brings me back. store opens at 6,, and i started looking at men's pants around 8:20. only none fitting area to accommodate all clothing areas. when i came out, two clerks were checking in another customer. came back a little before 9 and clerk told me the room weren't open til 9. i said the stores open, the rooms should be open. she said you'll,just have to wait! come on folks, if the stores open you should be able to avail yourself of all departments. the very nice lady at checkout couldn't belive the rooms weren't open til 9. very poor policy. read more

DISCRMINATES AGAINST ELDERLY-Have been taking my husband's uncle to this location for a long time to shop he is a disabled veteran who has a hard time walking today the person who stands at the door named Jim followed me out of the store and informed me that their carts for the disabled are not allowed out of the store. I asked if they had changed their policy since they have always sent someone out with us to bring the cart back and Jim stated that he would escort us this time but in the future remember to keep the cart in the store. When I informed his manager of what was said she stated that he was wrong however I knew that nothing will be done since neither she nor he saw the need to apologize for the condesending way in which I and my husband's uncle were treated. This Walmart is horrible especially their Assistant Manager Fredy who should not be a manager. I specifically drove 30 mins to this Walmart because an item I needed had only 3 in stock left at this location. It could not be found at any other Walmart besides this one and because there was only a few left, it was on sale. When I came to the store, the exact item(same style, size, brand, etc.) showed the regular price so I asked for additional help to find the item I drove here specifically for. Fredy looked up the exact item I found online and saw the sale price which stated this location was the only one to have it. As he searched his inventory, he told me it showed they didn't have any when clearly we were staring right at the product. I told him what an inconvenience this was for me to drive out of my way to come specifically here for this item for him to tell me the inventory is messed up. As a consumer, that is not my fault that their inventory is messed up but as a manager, there is something that can be done since the item is clearly here and we both agree that the price is what it shows. He refused to do anything and said I can call Walmart for the discrepancy. He took no ownership of his store and no ownership in fixing their error. Wasted my time to provide no help read more
