I was in line to return an item I purchased yesterday, although I had to wait for 15 minutes it's worth it, Janine was so nice and give me credit. She tried to help me confirm my Walmart card it was not successful. Because there was someone waiting behind me I decided to not continue trying to confirm my card. Ray was so nice at the check out and Kristy who's 76 years young checked me out. Only in America we get to work whenever it's boring at home. She said she was not able to pay her bills. What would make this location better: fresh produce! I trek over to the Foothill Ranch Walmart ever since the Irvine location closed due to the lack of fresh produce at this location. The cereal aisle at this location is a joke compared to other stores. This is like... a mini store. Yes, the larger locations are generally the Supercenters... but this location seems lacking in terms of product variety and also appears to have higher prices than other locations. Well what can I say that hasn't been said... I purchased a vacuum cleaner handheld that would've been $70 numerous places for only $47, purchased so many Christmas gifts. They had hickory farms of Ohio gift sets. Excellent purchase. Inflatable's that cost $70 Bucks and hard to find, that were there for 20 bucks. I'm in line behind one gentleman being helped. The woman helping him is standing right on the other side of the service counter He walks away and she lets me know she will be right back. No problem. I stand and wait. About 5 minutes I hear a faint voice I don't know what was said and I don't see anyone. Then I hear someone say hello I can help you. I still don't see anyone around. I walk up to the window and the same lady is standing behind the wall between the two windows. I told her that she cannot be seen. She says it will take about 15 minutes so I wait. I walk around the store, there are no customers at the pharmacy. Finally she looks at me, the same lady, and asks if I'm picking up a prescription. This Walmart offers a pleasant shopping experience. I ordered online and when I got to the store, opened the Walmart App and they brought the stuff out right away to the car. And they had everything I ordered. One item had an open box so the guy tried to find a closed one to no avail and then just refunded it. Then I went inside to shop for more stuff. No drama here today. So if you like drama--you may want to go to the Walmart in Irvine on Von Karman or Huntington Beach--I always confront drama in those Walmarts. Easy free parking, no real suspicious people hanging out in the lot like at the other 2 Walmarts I mentioned above. There were even 2 people to greet me when I entered and in one aisle an associate offered to price check an item I was looking at. So if you have never been to a Walmart and heard bad things--this may be the right one to break your Walmart virginity. This worker named Sheran was very rude to a person on wheelchair that took a long line of customers standing while interrogating a disabled person about the receipt which she purchased located on the clearance table , and she was told to go and check the clearance table which she refused and called another worker named William that freed the poor woman from that embarrassment to the long line of other customers she purchased it in clearance.. My car battery died while driving, so I went to Walmart. I got a new one for $50 less than what I would've payed with AAA Auto Club. Tom in the auto service department was quick to help me find the right battery, and even carried it for me. He installed it in legitimately less than 5 minutes. Tom also made sure to send someone over to assist me with getting jumper cables afterwards, and checked in from time to time while I was waiting. He did this while working the Auto Care front desk and helping other customers. Actual rockstar! Thank you Sir! read more

Staff: Today we had Jonathan help us with a curbside pickup. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. When he answered the phone he was very professional, pleasant, friendly, and a good listener. We don't shop at Walmart but maybe once a year but his service alone would likely change this. Management should really take note of his very good customer service. This is an older Walmart that desperately needs a remodel. The way the merchandise was displayed reminded me of a K-Mart, and the narrow isles gave me a claustrophobic feeling. My husband couldn't find the tv cord he was looking for, and the one employee in electronics had about five people waiting in line. I don't think I'll be shopping here again any time soon. The people that work inside the store do not do their best to get you the things they need. You ask a simple question but yet they seem to never know anything. Local Walmart, should've known and expected this treatment but today I went there with my son to get some Father's Day cards and gift bags only for some Filipina lady to request to check my receipt as soon as I took 1 step from my self-checkout. She acted as if I was stealing and even went further to use her phone to scan my gift bag. I spent over $83 and it I really wanted to steal something I assure it wouldn't be a $3 item. I purchased this backpack for my son a couple of days ago because it is almost time for back to school. He was so excited about the backpack because when you looked at the backpack inside Walmart it was the perfect color and everything that he wanted was going to match. He even has a couple new outfits that he wanted to wear with the As soon as we got the backpack home, or even before we made it all the way back home when we were driving home in the car, the color of the backpack started to change. Yesterday I took my car to Walmart for an oil change. After an hour I went to check on the status. There were no cars in the oil change bay. I was asked if I had an appointment, I did not. Was told my car was next. Looked back 15 minutes later and there was another car in the oil change bay. No one at the desk, so I went out the front of the store and walked around to the service area. My var had been moved towards the parking lot. The window was rolled down, the key in the ignition, and no employees anywhere, just some customers. I looked for an employee to say I'll come back another time, but none were around. So I got in my car and left. I ended up going somewhere else for an oil change today. I last had my oil changed at this Walmart a few months back. The place I'm at now just told me that the drain plug was barely hand tightened. We stopped going to this location for one simple reason. The employees. They do not give a flying whatever about helping customers. The cashiers are usually rude and most of them don't even offer a 'hello' to you and just try to find an employee somewhere to help you find something. Nowhere to be seen. A few weeks ago, I was in here looking for something artsy for my kindergarten class and noticed the section had been moved. I asked an employee where I'd find art project things and she didn't know. How can you work in this store and not know where the art project supplies are? The prices are good and there's a good selection, but the employees at this location just suck. In January my mom died and something I bought triggered the clerk to ask me. She offered her condolences and told me how much she knew mom's meant. I will never forget it. I pay my mom's utility bills here bc they are not in my name yet. Those ladies are the Best and so helpful bc you know I had no idea... There's a huge Persian community here working and they take their hospitality like you are in their own homes. Kuddos. I decided to try the auto shop too. I asked for quiet tires. The guy asked his supervisor if my suggestion was good, he said no, go with this other brand (cheaper) and love them. The supervisor apologized for the ridiculous wait but I understand it was better than costco. The store is always immaculate and well stocked. They are going to have to discontinue self check out bc of so much theft. Thank you white people of Aliso Viejo. Smh. I guess we are just sneakier. I'm sorry the girl got checked in the previous review but yes people will steal $3 when purchasing $83. I don't get mad when anybody is suspicious of me, sometimes it's the checker, I've had that happen. You also have to do random checks to keep the riff raff alert. Thank you for doing your job. I got mad once bc no one was at the exit checking receipts. Oh yeah and lastly, despite there being a line returns are a breeze. I was not overly happy about this Walmart location once I exited the building. The people that work behind the counter were not super helpful to me and my sister. I purchased a cell phone for my son because he wanted to get one for Christmas but when I opened the box up the cell phone was not as it was supposed to be. The screen was super cracked and I look like maybe one of the employees may have dropped it. I simply took the phone back to the store explain it to them that they sold me a phone that was broken and they made me wait almost an hour and a half just to give me the refund they did eventually give me the refund in for that I am grateful but the fact that they made me wait almost an hour and a half to receive it is completely unacceptable when it it is their fault that the phone was broken in the first place read more

Don't try to ask the workers anything because they will ignore you and walk away. And then fight you back even though you were being nice asking a simple question. Management you need to do better with your staff. The manager on site was a nice lady which helped me out. But she doesn't deserve to have nasty rude employees working on shift for her because guess what..all the complaints go to her!! So I got to this Walmart with a good friend about 15 minutes or so before they closed. I wanted to buy an Epson printer which was advertised on their website for $129.00. There were 3 on the shelf and I put one into my cart. When I went to self-service to pay for it, it rang up at $169.00. I showed the website on my phone to an employee who attempted to do a price override. However, she needed the approval of a manager. The manager came to me and told me that the printer was not available. I quickly pointed to the one in my cart and said that it was available. Without missing a beat, he pulls up the website on his "device" (I don't know if it was a cell phone or Walmart product device) and shows me that it's "online only". I then show him the website on my cell phone and nowhere does it say that it's "online only". I then realized that there must be two different websites, and Walmart is using them to gouge customers. He told me that he would not match the price and that I could order it online and pick it up the next morning at 7:00 am. This was not acceptable to me. Why should I be inconvenienced? I decided not to leave the store - even if they closed - unless I was leaving with the printer at the advertised price of $129.00 (plus tax, of course.). He finally relented and I paid for the product. The "exit person" by the store saw the entire thing and could not believe the audacity of the manager, especially after I showed her the advertised price of the printer on the Walmart website on my phone. I have had other problems with various Walmart stores over the years in this area with wrong prices. The price on the shelf was always lower than the price at the checkout counter. I think it's time that "Weights and Measures" pays Walmart visits over and over again until they comply with the law. I saw this nice and very knowledgeable lady at the self checkout area.she was able to answer my question righ away after looking at the code . She told me that these are Hershey's chocklate and right away i rememberd getting them. Now my question is what this man with that level of product khnowleadg is working at this position i dont think he can even be a good greater (with all do respect to theWalmart Greaters) . Anywho, I never ever get any help here : last week I was looking for G12 light bulbs and was told "you're on your own" by a Walmart employee; when asked where I could find a particular screw was told "everything we have is out there, Ma'am."
