Customer service kinda sucks in electronics, I love walmart sometimes I just go here to look at things. Other departments people are helpful especially the ladies. But the reason I am giving two stars is not coz of customer service.its because of this stupid manager. So I was at the cash register and I was the last person this guy had blocked his lane saying it's his lunch time. Simple right. Thn this lady manager brings this lady from no where and asks the guy to help her. The guy said it's my lunch time and I need to go to bathroom. The manager in front of everyone and embarrassed him so badly. SHAME ON THAT MANAGER. I wish I had noted her name. She is one mean person. Well i went into richmond ca walmart today after doing a ton of research on a few bikes. I saw one that i liked on the display floor so i took it to pay for and the clerk couldnt find to price tag to scan. After calling three other people to help i am told that they cannot sell me to bike. So i check online again to see if there is another one close by and the walmart app shows availability at the Edgewater oakland location. So i drive there only to find its not in stock and they dont update there website. I hate this place. read more

Called the store, looking for a specific item, called numerous times actually. The first couple times, they just kept transfering my call where no one would answer. Another time I called, I finally got to talk to someone who took my item information and then hung up. Had no problems when I called other Walmart stores. I have been to many a Walmart by far this has always been the most interesting one that I have ever visited. Today there was a homeless lady following me around the store, I lost her in hilltop. A fight almost broke out between two grown men. Two ladies hoarding a basket full of stuff, I mean taking bottles 5 at a time off the shelf. They(Walmart) goal is to promote continuity with in its company, they do not do it here. Customer service is lacking, the store is dirty, when y need a staff member you cannot find anyone. Yes they are putting jobs on the community but teach the staff basic customer service. I seem to always go through the same lady's line, she greats me, smiles, looks into my face when speaking and always pleasant. This one team member is keeping this store a float, I bet there are others but there are other but I have yet to encounter them. I like the Martinez, American Canyon and a adventure Union City the customer service has always been great. I gave two stars because of the checker otherwise you will have gotten 1 star. read more

WalMart. I don't know whether to love or hate you. I don't like you and your practices in general, but I am glad you came to Hilltop because without you there'd be an empty place with no jobs. And where would unemployed people shop for things they need and don't really need? Unemployed meaning me. "Ghetto" me? People, quit calling it ghetto. Price scanners are hard to find in the store, but I found the hardware department people friendly and helpful - especially the guy who cut my keys the past year. And if you are looking for electronics, check the cases because the floor displays are no indication of what they have in stock. They don't have enough staff for the store which is likely on purpose and evil. Baaahhhhh! Its connected to the mall so I usually park where I really need to shop and stop by for the little things, its convenient. read more

I purchased an item from Walmart online with a credit card that I have not used for a couple of weeks. As soon as my order was processed by Walmart I had two fraudulent charges on my credit card. I can assume that the person who processed my online order also went shopping for themselves using my credit card. I have tried calling corporate headquarters with no luck. Do not shop online with Walmart. You can not trust Walmart employees. read more

I really hate this Wal-Mart. It's so close to my apartment so I'm there more than I'd like to be unless I want to drive 30 minutes over the bridge to American Canyon. I dislike Walmart. Especially this one. I only go during morning times. So there's always a cashier open usually. That's good. But the layout is funky with two levels. Dislike having to go up and down in the elevators with shopping cart as my son is with me so I can't use the escalator. I feel like the elevators are sometimes put of order. One of them, anyways. Also their clothes is very low quality, but for the price, you get what you pay for. And sometimes you get lucky, the clothes will last you. Either way, I only shop here a 3 or 4 times a year. I went there on Sunday with my little brother,boyfriend and my mother to go get a present for my cousins baby shower and to pick up a blanket for myself since it was a cold day. We go upstairs to where the fishing section is at and we were ready to pay and she was helping a man in front of us and she told us that my mom was going to be the last person to check out before she had to leave to help another costumer which then I said ok because I could wait for her. She is now checking my mom out and I put my blanket Down so I wouldn't be carrying it and she tells me "do you not know English" with an attitude and I tell her "yea I do know english" and she says now all calmly because she didn't think I was going to say something back to her in a sassy way and she says ok I'll be right back and then her dept. manager comes and tells her "Faroough" (idk how to spell her name but this is how I remember it being spelled) "why are you leaving the check out when you see you have another costumer to check out" and she said "I was going to go help another costumer and I told her to wait" dept.manager: "I already helped them out" faroough:"do you have any other questions" Me:"no". Mind you I never asked a question so the fact that she said that was so irrelevant. Then the dept. manager checks me out and I tell her about what she told me and she says so calmly like if it was a normal thing to happen "she has done this before" and I told her "well she should be fired" no Costumer service at all. Be careful what you purchase from Walmart. They deal with some not so good third party vendors. Last year I purchased two rifle carrying cases for the Veterans of Foreign War from Walmart. The second party they sent the order to was called Willy Goodprice. I ordered black and they sent me a black and a green one. When I contacted Walmart they gave me the number of the second party and from there, you are on your own. After contacting this Willy place several times it was the bait and switch with the product. These are not veteran-friendly people to deal with. Try Amazon better produce, they stand behind their product and will take care of you if they're a problem. Worst Customer Service!! Manger doesn't even know who there associates are. I came to do a return & there associate states than anything can be returned but at customer service you can only return things they sell on the second floor. I went there and they took my bag because of some idiotic excuse of that my bag might have COVID-19. What about the purse I was carrying? It could have had COVID-19 on it. They took peoples bags to stop shoplifting. Then they had the nerve to charge you for bags at the checkout counter. This place went downhill once they closed the Walmart on High Street in Oakland! Walmart is a store that I hate going to, but is worthwhile to go to. If that makes sense. The parking lots are always chaotic and the lines always have a wait. People usually arent that friendly, customers or employees. But... and this is a good but... they do have good prices. The store near my house has the same items but is way more expensive. This is an example of how walmart is a charmeleon. It has become it's surroundings. and it's not a nice place. Sure it's a large store, two levels, but it's not a supercenter. It's a place to get somethings you need for the house and office. It's worth the drive to go 20 miles north to the supercenter and you'll see what walmart should be. One word summary: ULTRA-DISORGANIZED There are a few times in life when you feel like you are trapped in an endless maze. Lost, confused and no matter how many times you ask for directions- you still end up disoriented. Well, I've had that experience in this Walmart. I just needed to buy gas for a lighter: one item, should be easy to find (I thought). But soon enough, I found how wrong I was. Soon, the confusion began. I asked various workers if they could kindly help me out by pointing where I could find that item. One person sent me to isle 3, other to the lower floor, another to isle 5, to the upper floor, no one knew where "the gas for lighters were moved", etc. I felt like I was in the middle of a game, or conspiracy. Like the workers there were either oblivious of where this object was, or perhaps like they were scheming and sending me on a false goose chase. Either way, I became acquainted with the whole store but never found that one thing I needed. It was an interesting day, I never found what I was looking for at Walmart. And no one, not even the manager, could help me out. No one knew if they had gas for lighters in the store. So I left this intricate maze without looking back and found a more welcoming & organized service at a local smoke shop. :D oh yeah! read more

Black Friday shopping in full effect. Richmond shopping center is the target. Comfy warm clothes - check. Comfy shoes with good traction - check. Christmas list - check. Checked it twice - check check. CHARGE! Big crowd at the Walmart tonight/today or whatever you want to call it. I skipped the electronics and headed towards my other goals. I like some of those sweet deals but usually they only have 5 or so of the big tickets. Oh well. Sad news, 5 out of my 10 items were already out of stock. Boo hoo hoo is not very ho ho ho. But I did grab some choice items without much of a hassle. Typically the early morning Black Friday crowd is a decent sort of crazy. The cashiers were oddly chipper as well. Overall a good day at the Walmart. Generally I don't shop here much because I just don't like the store. But for what it is they earned a solid 3 for my trip tonight. read more

the females that work here are so rude & judgmental!! it was around 1130pm and they were about to close not only were a group of african american females blocking the door they were playing loud music & i suppose 1 of them was suppose to be the door greeter & failed at her job! You know, Walmart is pretty bad all around, but the Walmarts in Compton and Panorama City is way better than this joint. The employees are dicks, straight out. Nobody mentioned that we could only have the security unit removed from the Roku box only in electronic, so back and forth multiple times. Or the fact that the top level entrance closes at ten, did I mention that we walked in at 940 and none of the employees mentioned anything as we walked in. There was only like six of them standing there doing jack shit. Oh and not to mention they were screaming and swearing at each other in Tagalog. I also didn't like the anti-theft measures installed to stop shoplifters. I quickly purchased some sunscreen and allergie pills before heading out on my journey to meet up with friends for a hike. This is the most Ghetto Fabulous store that I have ever encountered. When you call the store no one answers, or if they answer they don't speak very good English, or if they say they are going to put you on hold they disconnect or when they put you on hold they never return, shall I say more, OF COURSE I WILL. Upon visiting the store almost everyone you run into does not speak very good English, or when you ask a question they have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Million dollar company. Dirty a$$ store broken escalator, elevator, and the other elevator has a duck taped button panel. Ordered something off website and it was missing parts because they beat up the box and it broke open. Other than a return I try to never come here..
