If I could give negative 100 stars I would. I am currently on hold and have been for 1 hour and 35 mins. Yesterday while shopping we were charged $80 for items we did not buy and did not come home with. My husband we back to Walmart with receipt in hand. Shelia a CSR manager filled out a form and told us the would have to review the tapes but we would be refunded the next day (today). Okay fair enough, after all I'm sure people try to scam them daily. Today, it's 2:00 and no call. No nothing. I call and get Sal, another CSR manager. He says Shelia left no instructions. Nothing. Not a hey, check the tape, jump off a cliff, zip. So I call back using my husbands cell. After 20 mins of no one answering, I finally get through. I get the Asst. manager, which I had to ask for four times. Carolina tells me sal is AT LUNCH!!!! He puts me on hold and goes to lunch. She has NO idea what I am even talking about. Why is this Walmart even open?? I hate hate hate the fact that this is the only Walmart near me. It upsets me every time I have to go to this Walmart. I went to Walmart to grab some lime. To my surprise ALL the lime were EXPIRED! I asked a tall young blonde gentleman If they had any lime since those were expired. He said yes. Didn't even apologize. He said that they will be out in 5min. Mind you I'm 36 weeks pregnant and not feeling too good. 10 min later and no limes. First off, I will attempt not to embellish anything. I needed a couple of tires, and was looking on Walmart.com. I found the exact tires I needed, plus they were on sale and came with free lifetime balancing and other perks. Perfect! I ordered the tires and the site indicated that I go to the store's tire shop when the tires were delivered to my store. Delivery took an extra day beyond the time frame I was given, but no big deal. When I got an email indicating delivery, I expected information on the "free stuff". Nothing. Thinking that would be a problem, I decided to call Walmart.com for clarification. It was either wait on line for 20 minutes, or wait by the phone for a call back. I opted to wait for a call back. Surprisingly, to the minute, the phone rang once...then nothing. I called again, went through the whole process again. After waiting by the phone for another 25 minutes, I talked with a great customer service associate. After talking with her for 20 minutes, she found the sale info and attached an "incident" report to my order, so the tire shop would have that information. I went to the tire shop the next morning, and after attempting to explain my purchase to two associates that had no clue of any "free" services, one of them called Walmart.com. No joke, after 30 minutes of being passed to the sixth person, she had the needed info. Next problem, she did not have the tires. Customer service had the tires, meaning I would have to go to the far end of the store, get them myself and wheel the tires through the store in a cart. Next issue, the customer service associate was not very customer friendly. My tires were not immediately available; they were in a trailer outside. And, it will take a minimum of 15 minutes to retrieve them. After giving her a brief explanation of what I had already been through, I got the "old rolling eyes and I don't really give a crap attitude" from her. Time wise, I am into this transaction now for nearly three hours total between last night and this morning. Plus, now I'm looking at a minimum of two hours having the tires installed because I was now about sixth in line! Enough of this I thought, please refund my purchase, thank you. But wait, there's more to the story other than the Walmart "experience" itself. After I made the online purchase, I got the dreaded phone call from the fraud department of Wells Fargo. After what felt like being "water-boarded" over the phone, having to convince WF I was indeed the owner of my credit card, the transaction was approved. I have never received a call from WF's fraud department in the 12 years I've had the card. I am convinced that because it was a Walmart.com purchase, red flags were raised. There must be a lot of fraudulent purchases on Walmart.com! We all get emails of "the people of Walmart", usually pictures of some of the weirdest looking shoppers on the planet. I suggested to my husband that we should try to find for him a $10.00 bag for our trip to San Francisco. They did have reasonable sized bags for $8.00 & $12.00, but we wound up getting a 3 piece luggage set for $19.00 because it was a better deal. I received a great Cyber Monday offer and placed the order with the mobile app. $5 shipping to the store really seemed like a great deal and the app said to check in upon arrival and associates would prep my order for me, which I did. I was happy so far. Here's where it went sour... The app said to go to the service desk to pick up. After 15 minutes in the service desk line they directed me to Site 2 Store pickup area, which was in the back of the store. When I got there I waited for 15 more minutes before being seen. They don't care about online check-ins so nothing had been prepped. 30 minutes wasted so far. My order was only partially fulfilled but you wouldn't know by the big bold message at the top of the email I had received: "Your Walmart.com order is ready for pickup!" If I had scrolled down to the bottom of a very long email I would see that some items weren't ready, but it should have been spelled out clearly so I could've avoided two trips. They sent someone running to a container outside to retrieve my items. 15 more minutes later and my partial order was ready for pickup. The complete shopping trip was one hour to retrieve two Xboxes; I could have walked into GameStop and been out in 5 minutes. Almost nobody seems to enjoy their job here. It is the least pleasant place I have ever shopped. I've been here a few times and have had a similar experience each time. A little savings in price is just not worth it. read more

Used to be a nice store, not anymore. It is now a recycling center inside the store with lockers for bag storage at the return counter. You can count on being approached in the parking lot for money. Entire store is on lock down and good luck finding an employee with a key. Don't bother to fill your cart shopping in the morning unless you really like to self-check out as there are no cashier lines open. Restrooms are dirty. A little background: clearly, I hate this place. But, in a moment of sheer desperation and apparant insanity I went to one the other day for an emergency bycicle tire pump. Thankfully, I ended up not needing it-and therefore returned it this morning and took my money back from the beast. Whew! However, in doing so, I actually had to spend significant time in this hell hole (via waiting in the return line) and I noticed some things that I'd like to share. First, when I was walking through that madness they call a parking lot-some car (i assume) was playing eerie music that I could have sworn was actually coming from the store. Cut to that scene at the end of Children of Men-when they are trying to get through the refugee camp. Seriously, people, at the risk of sounding overdramatic... it (read: Wal-Mart) felt apocalyptic. Anyways, when walking into the store you notice this odd linoleum flooring they had in the entranceway. I'm pretty sure they stole it from some ride at Disneyland and/or gave some kid lsd and let s/he loose in the design room. Next. In case you didn't know: Wal-Mart apparantly has taken it upon themselves to represent the state of California and this nation we call the US. Yes, they had these two massive flags hanging at the entrance. I'm so glad the patriotic sentiments of this nation are being expressed through/represented by this fine example of American corporate capitalism. Fourth. There was a backyard trampoline hanging upside from the ceiling. I think to fully appreciate this, you'd have to see it. Let just say I seriously considered climbing up there and trying to jump on it. I'm pretty sure it would have felt better than the pain I experienced just being there. Lastly. Who ever said technology wasn't good for human society? Definitely not WM. This walmart is lousy. Been browsing the store for hours waiting for my new tires to be mounted at the auto center. Never seen so many empty shelves at a walmart before. Very inefficient stocking. The woman at the auto center desk seems to hate her life - very unpleasant. Lot of irate customers in here. Auto center seems to have problems stocking the right oil, filters, etc... I will say, the prices are quite cheap. Got a heck of a deal on 4 new tires mounted n balanced. But you do get what you pay for, as this is proving to be an all day event. I have gone to this Walmart hundreds of times and never have I had a "bad" experience. As with any place things could always be better. Goods: 1) This Walmart has numerous special needs employees. Many of them have worked there for a considerable amount of time. They also have an on site trainer who coaches and assists them each day. 2) They actually have at least one cashier at all times in the garden center. Usually there is two, which makes it easy to quickly get in and out without dealing with the chaos up front. Others: 1) Get rid of the solicitors out front. This is probably the worst Walmart with someone at each door asking for money. 2) This Walmart never seems to have enough employees. This review is for the sitetostore service. The process that this location has is very inefficient. I stood in line with just three people in front of me to pick up my items. Once I got to the front of the line, I showed my order and picture ID for two items. I told the cashier that I changed my mind on the bakeware set and had that returned. The cashier went to get my item. After waiting for five minutes, he returned with the bakeware set that I had changed my mind about. He realized this after I pointed it out, and went to the back to grab my item along with items from four other tickets. Bad customer service. You should be grabbing items on a first come first served basis. I went in at about 7:15 am on my way to work. I realize the day after Christmas is a busy day for retail and I was looking for discounted Christmas stuff for next year. I barely made it in the door when an employee who clearly saw me walking by nearly hit me with a stack of carts then stopped right in my way and acted as if I was the one at fault. I said "excuse me!" Very sarcastically because again he almost hit me out of carelessness and the he very rudely replied "no ma'am, excuse ME!" Even more sarcastically than I did. I let this roll off my back as I have very low expectations for Walmart employees. I started walking away and the man proceeded to say, to his manager mind you, "can you believe that bitch?!" I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around and him and the manager where laughing and talking crap about me as I was standing right there. Talk about lack of respect! I grabbed my discounted Christmas stuff and waited in a line of two people for 20 minutes. The cashiers are some of the slowest around and are rude to you after you've waited for them to do the EASIEST job ever. They don't apologize for the wait, say thank you, have a nice day, NOTHING. I know Walmart is notorious for hiring morons who don't shower and can barely count to ten, but is being nice to your customers really that hard??? I will never return to this location. I was in line to return some detergent and the customer service employees immediately accused me of watering down the product and insinuating I used it. It was $7 detergent, I don't know why they couldn't have returned it even if I HAD! Anyway, I told them it came like that and even had to run and bring up the SAME product just to prove how cheap and watered down it ALREADY WAS!!!! At least I got my return I was in the express line with two cashiers. One cashier had taken a few customers who clearly had more than 20 items (their cart was filled to the brim with items!) and they were having issues with their card and needed to call their bank for 30 minutes. The other cashier turned off her light and said she wasn't taking any more customers because she had no more bags. So I went to the cashier with the long wait (isn't this an express lane?). Moments later, the second cashier is taking customers who waited behind me without acknowledging that I and the woman behind me had been waiting and not yet serviced! The customers had opted out of bags, which was not offered to us. I left the line even though I asked for a manager. Man, I was gonna start this review with "Fuck you Walmart!" But someone beat me to it! That should say it all, shouldn't it? I hate Walmart to begin with. I called two hours ahead of time to make sure they had the right tire and that they would still be open by the time I got there. They confirmed they had my tire, and said they take the last car @ 7:30pm. Brilliant. I arrive there at 7:05pm, time to spare. I stood there waiting with 3 other people in line at the tire center for a good 5 minutes before someone showed up to help any of us. Fine, it's cool, I wasn't going to complain because as long as I can get a tire to just drive home from work, I'd be ecstatic. Finally, it's my turn: Me: Hi, I need a tire. Her: (pause, looks at time, 7:15pm) We can't do it, there's three other people in front of you. Me: Uh, you guys take the last car at 7:30. Her: Well, there's three waiting before you. Went to get my granddaughter's ears pierced today. She is 4 and was very nervous. The woman said she was the only one trained to do the job who was working. After several minutes and several attempts to place the pen dot in the right spot, she was ready to load the gun with the chosen earring. She placed the gun against the ear and slowly squeezed the trigger. The last time I had my ear pierced it was boom, bam, end of story. This idiot not only moved like a recording done in super slow mo, she got the Damn gun stuck on my darling's ear. Claimed the back got stuck in the gun, and pulled the gun away, leaving the entire plastic ensemble hanging from my granddaughter's ear! Needless to say, the poor kid was traumatized and scared to death to offer up the remaining little virginal ear for sacrifice. Well, after much cajoling and bribery we finally convinced her to offer up the sacrificial ear. Nice going mom and grandma, the stupid woman did the exact same thing on her second ear. if you are looking for rude service, this is a five star choice. If you're looking for, even if not friendly, but at least polite, this is not the place. Went in for a few things, grabbed a couple 12 packs of soda since they had my flavor caffeine free. Unloaded everything onto the conveyor belt. The cashier states (after everything is unloaded) "leave the soda in the car." When I didn't return the soda to the car she rolled her eyes and made a snide comment to the customer ahead of me. When she continued to go off about the soda, I stated "its pointless to say leave it in the cart after its on the belt" to which she again rolled her eyes, and continued to rant and rave about how it should have been left in the cart to begin with. So my roommate Sporty Spice a.k.a. Robyn talked us into trying "Yoga". Review on that in the works. Anyway, Sporty Spice informed us that it is possible to contract ring worm from the Yoga mats at 24 hour Fitness. So we decided to head over to Wal-Mart before the class to pick one up for 10 buckaroos. (ten dollars for no ringworm= good deal). When we walk in we are immediately greeted by the "greeter". Poor old lady is being slave driven by Wal-Mart. I have digressed. We kindly ask her where the exercise equipment is located. She tells us it is on the diagonal opposite end of the store. This being like my second time in a Wal-Mart EVER, my first thought is greaaaat, we are going to get lost and sidetracked and be in here FOREVER! Kinda like Target. See the good thing about Wal-Mart there is no cute clothes, shoes, make-up or boys for that matter, to get distracted by. Moral of the story is, Wal-Mart made my day really easy. I picked up a cheap-o Yoga mat, Windshield Wiper Fluid, and Body Wash all in a 5 minute swoop. In and out. And there was a nice dude out front handing out free cherry samples. Bought a bike here and literally rode it around the store without a single person asking me if I needed help or anything. I didn't go through the store searching for empty racks- These are pictures I took on my path back from the bike section to the exit. And unfortunately this is every day, every time I've been here. Ignored me twice when I spoke to her, then had the never to charge me twice for an item that was packaged together. She had a nice conversation with the white man in front of me, then we I (a black women) get up to the line and say Hi, she acted as if I wasn't even there. Then I tried to call to speak to a manager once I got home, and NO department would answer the phone so it would just ring and ring and then hang up. This is the last straw for me and Walmart.
