I haven't been to this location in almost 19 years (back when this was a baby Walmart and not a Supercenter). Obviously, it's changed, and they're currently undergoing a remodel, so some areas will be more cluttered than others, but that's not a bad thing. The associates were all busy at work, and there were a lot of employees everywhere. If I needed help, I definitely knew where to look. I like that the entrances and exits are clearly marked. Usually, the doors are right next to each other, and foot traffic can get a little clustered in other stores, but that wasn't the case here. Something else I appreciated was how large and visible the signs are overhead so I could find the department I was searching for. They had a very nice selection of yarn (and thankfully the exact shade I needed for a project I'm working on that I can't find at my local store). The aisles were well spaced and the areas I did walk were clean. Honestly, my only complaint today is that when I went to check out (on a positive note, there were actually registers with real people working), the cashier--when I went to compliment the store--kind of scoffed and said this Walmart really isn't that great, that it's still too small, and if I really want to see what messy looks like, go look where the construction is. I realize I grew up in a different generation, but I'm a little horrified that someone would openly express that level of disdain to the customers. I found what I needed though, and compared to Walmarts I've been to across the Western Half of the US, this was actually one of the better locations in an old building. Also, it was well stocked, which you don't see much these days in a lot of retail locations since the pandemic began.

However, what really stood out during our visit was the customer service, which easily bumped this up to a four-star experience. Even though the section we were shopping in was quiet and didn't have many customers around, a sales associate approached us quickly and offered help without being pushy. She went above and beyond by checking prices for us and helping us narrow down our options, which made the whole experience feel more personal and easy. Because of her, we ended up making a purchase--and that says a lot. Another nice bonus is that this location features a Toys "R" Us section, which adds a fun, nostalgic touch, along with a Macy's Backstage area where you can find a variety of items at additional discounted prices. All in all, it's a solid Macy's with standout service that makes the visit more enjoyable than expected.

No one answered, so after trying to call twice, I parked and went inside. The gentleman at the pick up counter was nice. He went to the back to get my package after scanning the code from my phone. Although I was glad that my new tops fit me, it would have been great of they actually made use of the drive up feature. I don't shop here often, but when I do, I find good stuff. Wish the service was better, but I'm just glad I got my stuff. =/

One employee helped me locate a product, and she knew the store layout so well it was like she personally designed it herself. That kind of knowledge and customer service really stands out. Karen at checkout was awesome too and friendly, efficient, and just pleasant to deal with. Now... my only complaint (and it has nothing to do with the staff) is this new store layout. Whoever redesigned it might want to reconsider their career path It feels like someone handed out Legos and said, "Go wild." It reminds me of the new layout at Walgreens confusing and not exactly shopper-friendly. That said, the team inside made up for it completely. Plus, there's plenty of parking onsite, which is always a bonus. Overall: great people, great service... just please rethink the maze layout!

You go to Target and let Target tell you what you need." ― @haley_copeland, Twitter/X That's the thing, right? We all love us a good Target shopping spree. Their $3 bins have a hold on me. Get me my Mila dumplings, I want everything from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, and I need to buy all the holiday items they have in stock. Going to a Target is especially challenging for me come the -ber months of the year. I always get drawn in by their holiday items. Is my Christmas tree essentially a Target foodie tree? Yes. Do I regret it? NEVER! I enjoy buying stocking stuffers at Target as well as there's always something fun to discover. A card game here, a blind Miniverse ball there, and oh look... tiny bottles of bubbly. Happy holidays to me! ;D Anyone who tells you they don't like Target needs to be cut out of your life. You don't need that kind of toxicity around you.
