For references usually when you post that you are a 24 hour store you should be able to shop or browse . But apparently the fitting room is closed at 11 o'clock pm. If you do shop here at nighttime for example if youre a daytime worker and you don't have time for any shopping till night you might want to avoid Walmart. For example there seems to be a tendency of ignoring at night for customer service. For example at night my wife wanted to try on some clothes At 2a.m. During this time a Walmart employee shows up and tells us the fitting room is closed till 8AM in the morning. Me now knowing this then I ask the employee to wait here so we could try on clothes, Their response from the employee was "I'm not really supposed to be here right now." Then I reply then I guess you're not supposed to be working here at all. Later that night at checkout I I mentioned to the cashier that I would like to check out now seeing that their attention was towards each other conversating at the cashier with other employees. At this point here I pretty much believe there's no hope for the Walmart store here in Fairfield. no wonder why they hesitated to open it up til now. But no it gets worse, as I walk out the store with clothes I had to purchase not knowing if it would fit or not that I did come back to return half the clothes.. But of group of individuals ask me not only for money outside the door but for a lighter. I feel very insecure when people especially at night Loiter around stores really gives it a very bad image. Why wouldn't Walmart invest in better employees. And security for the parking lot and last but not least control of their Walmart carts because they seem to be popping up all up and down North Texas Street and any other street that leads off it. Nasty customers. Staff mostly just doesn't care. Today some kid pissed on the floor in the laundry detergent aisle. All over the floor! WHO LET'S THEIR KID DO THIS!? Bathrooms always smell bad. Almost always long lines at the checkout stand. Cheap prices is about the only positive. Very shady characters in the parking lot, especially at night. Safety is an issue. I was in search of the perfect comforter set and found it on Walmart.com but didn't want to wait, so I went to my local Walmart in Vacaville and they did not have it in Queen size. A very helpful associate found it for me in Fairfield, I told him I would call since he was busy. The associate that answered was SO RUDE and ghetto, but I finally got her to get up and go look for it. After keeping me on hold for 20 mins she informed me they had 3, but wouldn't put on hold for me even after I told her I would there in 10 mins... I really wanted it so I drove to Fairfield anyway. Associates were not really helpful that night when I asked where bedding was, so finally found on my own and of course the comforter set was no where to be found. I was hesitant to ask anyone else for help but found a very happy, friendly face. Carmen was so awesome, she went above and beyond to help me find the set, which all three were hiding in the back. She was very helpful and turned my frustrating search into a great experience. Fairfield Walmart should invest in a customer service training program for their associates. read more

Forgot to tell people to make sure you check your receipts and write down the prices & sales prices before leaving the store. I went to walmart again yesterday, because w/gas prices being so expensive I cant justify driving across town to my favorite, Target. I can't tell you how many times I have bought something on sale, only to find when I got home that I paid full freakin price! So, now I write everything down on a piece of paper as I am going through the store. I check out, then after checking out, I check my receipt before leaving the store, and sure as heck 2 items that were on sale I was charge full price for. Then, I tell the cashier, and instead of calling a supervisor over to take care of it, she tells me to go stand in line at customer service. Are you freakin kidding me? You want me to go stand in another line, after waiting forever to check out once again..customer service should be change to customers waiting, because customer service at Walmart costantly takes forever. So, I went to another cashier and asked them to call a supervisor. After waiting, and waiting, the supervisor came and refunded the difference in my money. I am so sick and tired of having to police walmart. I did want to add though that there seems to be a new guy in the bakery with a great attitude & really friendly..maybe he can train the other rude women in that department. But he was great & gave my boys a free cookie. I have to acknowledge a good employee when I see one. Im sure its not from the training because the manager does nothing about their terrible customer service, overly ripe produce, and so on. I just called to find out how late the layaway department is open in the evenings and the lady went on to explain that it's their policy to tell everyone that inquires about layaway at Wal mart that if they come to pick up their items between December 7th & 14th that it may be a 5-6 HOUR wait!!!! I asked if she was kidding!? Why are they promoting layaway all over their ads and when you inquire about it they disuade you from using it. Who in their right mind would wait in line for 5-6 hours to pick up a layaway! Has anyone heard of ordering online! I don't like going to Walmart for many reasons. Every once in a while I still do it because their price for many (though not all) items is lower then elsewhere and the product selection is not that bad. But here is why I am unhappy each time I go to this store: - It starts with the large number of creeps on the parking lot. Either begging or trying to sell me something. Plus all those shopping carts scattered all over the lot. Often, there are no carts where they should be, most of them are on the parking lot and just a few in use. I am afraid some day my car will get a dent from a shopping cart. - The staff ! I am sure there might be a couple of hard-working pleasant people working at Walmart but that is not the norm. Usually, they are incredibly slow, not very well informed, not very friendly, not at all motivated. I get that they don't make a fortune there but there are many other people in this country that don't and are still happy to have a job and are trying to do it as best as they can. Not here, here the employees seem to do just the bare minimum. - Have you ever tried to order something online and have it shipped to the store ? It is a nightmare ! I initially thought this would be great, I can save the shipping cost and I know that one item I really need will be in stock since it will be held for me. And yes, it will be there but I will need a lot of time to get it. There is usually no one at the desk where you pick up the item. You can press a button and after a very long time someone may show up. Most likely not anyone who can get you your package, but someone who can tell you that at some point someone will com. And eventually the right person comes but this can easily take over 30min. - The lines at the checkout are often long. I made a mistake of assuming that if Walmart is open on New Years day, they are actually staffed. But they were completely understaffed. Of the 21 (or more?) registers only 3 were open. The lines were extremely long with lots of unhappy customers. Many of them just left their full carts behind and went home without their groceries (which I assume will spoil because there was no staff to clean up the mess). So Walmart, if you decide to open the store on a holiday you will have to staff it properly. Or just close it. Don't just treat your customers like sh*t just because they dared to go shopping on a holiday. read more

Doors locked on the side closest to the road during late night early morning.. as if to say "shhhhh lets pretend we're closed". I work in town at a hotel and suggested to one of my guests to go there to buy cloths since his bag was misplaced by the airport and this was the only place in town open at 4 am. I never like to go to walmart and one of the main reasons is due to their customer service. There has been several occasions that i have needed help with an item and there is no one to be found. Today in particular i had a question about a scooter. It took me talking to five employees to finally get some help. I don't understand how they could have over 20 checkstands and only 5 be open. I hate shopping here! If i didn't have to watch every dime I spent due bills and all that I'd go some where else!!!! This store has thee worse customer service ever! ! The last time I was in there Someone had spilt something on the floor and my husband and i were walking and didn't see the substance due to looking for what we needed on the shelves and I slipped in it almost cracking my head on the cart as I went down. And here's the worst part: I was 31 weeks pregnant. After my husband helped me regain a somewhat standing position, He went to find an employee to come help and hopefully get the manager to come write a report. Well my husband comes back with someone 10 minutes later after having to go find someone in a different department and all the guy says is "I'll go get a paper towel" like really? My husband asked him to get the manager to, and the guy never came back. No manager ever came over or anything, we waited an extra 15 minutes for one. So we walked up to the check stand with some of the items we had came for, and asked for a manager as we were checking out and we were told they were "busy." And being 31 weeks pregnant its already hard for me to get around due to hip problems. By the time we checked out and got to our car I was in enough pain from falling i almost had to go to er. This store has some of the worst employees i have ever seen. If your so unsatisfied with your job, quit so someone who really needs a job and will do there job can get a job there! The person who is in charge of transferring calls can never do their job right. They have a tone of voice as if they hate their life. Which I don't blame them of course. This store didn't allow the holiday junk to take over normal items so right there is an extra star. It's organized and clean. The prices are better than the walmart in Green Valley so that's another star. The green valley walmart sold the weed killer we needed for 11 bucks but this store sold it for 5. Honestly the only saving grace for this place is the self checkout place. I'm not even being biased because I work for target but let me just say I would go out of my way, to go to Target, or the Suisun super Walmart. Why? This place just sucks really terribly. I'm not sure if this is all walmart's but why is that you have literally so many check out stands and only 2 open? Why are not more employees trained on how to cashier? At target they are trained on register no matter what department to provide back up when things get busy. But at this store it's just, really terrible how long you have to wait just to buy something that it's not even worth shopping at any time of the day. The suisun one seems to have less business, or at least is just not a frequent location so it's not as busy. But here it's just too busy. The employees aren't really the issue its management. Managers kind of feel the need to be bossy. I used the self checkout stand once and apparently the machine I used was cash only. She felt the need to kind of berate me instead of just saying "hey if you could use another machine the card reader doesn't work." Instead I got a "yeah the machine is Cash only! It even says it on the machine. So go to another machine." Rudely as she snaps and points to hurry me along my way as if I'm an inconvenience. Personally that unprofessional, and I gladly pointed out the machine had no sign and she just gave the most rudest eye roll as if it didn't matter that I should just be able to tell when a machine is cash only, and went on her way of talking to the employees. The manager is not customer friendly and I will never shop their again. I am a young Black woman. I used the self checkout to pay for my a bag of cat food. It was really cold , thus, I wore a puffy warm jacket. As I exited the store , an employee stopped me and asked to see my reciept. I just had one small box of cat food in a bag and only one item on my reciept. This pepper haired older lady employee looks at me and yells at the employee at the self checkout area - did she pay for the cat food? I was shocked and hurt about it. I was shamed unfairly in front if the store. I became upset and argued with this employee. I went to talk to the manager about how I was treated and he gave a lame speech about deterring shoplifting. And if I did not like being search at the exit then I should go shop at another store. I felt discriminated. Im currently seeking legal advice. Are Door Bag Searches Legal? Yes, as long as the inspection is voluntary. No, if the bag check is involuntary or coerced. This is a rather fine legal distinction that is subject to misunderstanding and abuse. Basically, nothing in the law gives the merchant the right to detain a customer for the purpose of searching a shopping bag unless there is a reasonable suspicion of retail theft. read more

Worst customer service EVER - very rude guest relations in Returns! Does not honor refund or exchange policies. Does not allow return of any products without hassling customers, even unopened ones. Workers humiliated me and then yelled at me to leave the store in front of everyone! Seasonal items not allowed for returning perfectly unused nonperishable items, but half eaten food is ok. Disgusting! Avoid this location if you value your self respect, time, and money. If I could give a negative star, I would. I hate this Walmart. Truly ghetts. Employees are unprofessional and rude. The majority of them lack any type of customer service skills and act like you're bothering them when you ask for help. Heard some employees talk about a broken bin where they keep the value DVDs. The DVDs were spilling on the floor from the bottom. The employee in charge of this section basically said he didn't care and was just going to leave it. My mom bought my nephew a bike as a gift, rolled it up to the cashier (young, rude girl) and was scolded saying she wasn't allowed to touch it. How the hell is she supposed to buy it without touching it? It was already taken off the rack by another employee. My mom angrily told her she was buying it! Shopped for new headphones and asked the sales associate his opinion on which of the 2 I picked out was better. His response? "Whichever you want." Ok genius. Then acted like I was wasting his time. It wasn't like it was a busy Saturday. It was a slow weeknight, and I was the only customer in electronics. This has been the worse Walmart ive been to their fruit and vegetables are rotten the bakery never has any pound cake because the people that work there are to lazy to get it out of the freezer and put it out the other day i bought a loaf of bread and the 2days later it had mold all over the shelves are never stocked and when you ask for assistance all they say is if they dont have any at that time to check back during the week and when you come back they still dont have it so they just think of another excuse to give you the lines are ridiculously long customer service sucks they nevet have any carts by the vision center entrance and when you speak to the managers about whats going on in their store they dont do anything about it and to top it off they have these guys for loss prevention that all they do is walk around the store all together talking on their phones not paying attention and thats why some lady walked out with some raw chicken lol so its not all the employees fault but the managers who obviously aint doing their jobs!!! read more

Okay so I don't usually complain about stores even if I feel im not being taken care of as a customer I can brush it off. However this is something I feel needs to be addressed. I went to the women's restroom and noticed a walmart employee walk in before I went to the stall. As she was walking in she had her music possibly from a phone on full blast. Hoping she would either turn it down or off while she was in the stall which would be the considerate thing to do seeing we are in a restroom not a breakroom!!! She did neither!!!! In fact she remained in the restroom the whole time I was there. I was so angry. Then I see her come out and still has her music playing in front of me and other customers!!!! We asked her for help or to send someone over to the electronic's department because there was no one there. She told us she was working in another area and would send someone. We waited 15 minutes for someone to finally come to help. As we were waiting a night shift man by the name of Bobby kindly stopped what he was doing and asked us if we needed help and then went to go find someone to help us. Please thank this employee. This is the worst Walmart ever. I never review a place but I felt i had too. I came into this store before thanksgiving to try and find a laptop for school. The one I wanted was not in stock so I asked employee when would they have more in stock she told me thanksgiving day. So I came back not wanting to deal with black friday crowds just to get it. I go there stand in line for 45 mins for them to tell me they don't have any. i go online the next day to order it and everything, I have confirmation to pick up that day. I go into Walmart and computer is not in stock. I wait another hour to search and they want to give me display one. I go to best buy and just buy one there, I get cancellation message from Walmart. Then 4 days later I get another email saying computer is ready to be picked up. Then they send me message to pick up. I go again to Walmart and return and wait 1 hr for someone to come out and help me and give me a damn return. WORST customer service ever, seriously.
