So i just got threatened by one of wal marts finest to have security jump me because i got too close to a worker while she was taking money out of the fast check out, i simply asked her if the machine next to her was accepting cash she told me to back off so i did. The girl next to her was basically standing next to her but she said nothing to her. I told her to try and be nicer as i was walking out and then "jen" told threatened to have security "jump me" i asked her to speak with her manager and she replied that she was the manager. Threatening a customer is not ok in any way and they are very lucky i did not press charges. read more

I have worked close to this location for nearly12 years. I was so excited when I found out it was being converted to a supercenter. I must however, I am very dissapointed with my recent experience. I visited the store today during my lunch break stopping in to purchase just a few items. NONE of which I was able to find. It seemed as though every department that I shopped was ransacked and disorganized. The craft department was a disaster. It was a clutter and mess. Paint bottles were mismatched, knocked over and on the floor. Item placed back in incorrect areas and not addressed made it nearly impossible to find what I needed. The chip aisle on top of not having in stock what I was looking for was a disaster as well. This was not nearly as bad as the ladies activewear section. There was not a fitness tank top, short leaved shirt, long sleeved shirt or bottom that was where it was supposed to be. Nothing was matched up. So if someone was looking for a certain type of active top, they would have to lookthrough every single rack and hook and look through every piece of clothing in an attempt to find. I find it dissspointing that some areas of the store seem to be neglected and already in bad condition. Disspointed that I now have to stop at 2 store on my way home from work this evening in order to purchase what I should have been able to purchase at this Walmart store. read more

Outstanding customer service!!! Today I went to purchase a futon. Saw the box was open. Talked with sandy and she brought her manager- Kru with Omar. They didn't had another one but gave me a discount. I took it. Then Omar and Sandy helped me carry the futon to the cart, then cashier. And lastly helped me put it to the car. went to walmart's vision center. "alka" the woman working there is highly uneducated and says stuff just to get out of doing more work. after printing out our insurance claims and all of that she comes to the conclusion that the LEGAL documents that we printed out were wrong and she is right. its hard enough to talk to her with her major lack of hygiene and the rotten teeth that she has but with her lack of intellect it makes it even more difficult. sadly this is one of the only place our insurance covers so we have to deal with this woman each year. so thank you for wasting what feels like an eternity on this topic that should never be written about because if she just read the documents we gave her we wouldn't be in his situation. read more

It's your typical Wal-Mart. Under staffed, with lots of closed registers and only a few cashiers. Your wait time is always annoying, you only have one or two items ? Guess what you have to wait as long as the cheapskate with a full cart if Wal-Mart low quality goods. That's the next thing about Wal-Mart people think their saving money by going here over Target, but in the end you pay more because you have to pay for two items to replace the higher quality ones at Target or other retailer.unlike Target you'll see lots of scummy looking people here. I would give this place no stars if I could. Horrible customer service, and everytime I come here I have nothing but problems!!! My daughter and I stopped here before a bbq to get some wine coolers, The lady at the self check out who looks like Big Bird and talks to herself told me that i COULDNT purchase the liquor because my daughter didnt provide her with an ID......My daughter is in middle school with no valid id.. Then she yanked the liquor away from me which was absolutely rude. She proceeded to tell me about the store policy which is if there are two or more in a party, both need to provide an id. I understand and respect that policy however, when children are shopping with their parents, your telling us that we cannot buy liquor? Thats absurd and you need to re-evaluate your store policy! You should also probably reevaluate who works your self check out because big bird lady is slow, and really weird. Maybe think about getting someone who is friendly and isnt so slow people dont come to walmart to stand there all day waiting. I understand you hire people who dont have high school or college degrees, however most people who shop here would like to have a decent experience. I will stick to my home store, Villa Park, as they have wonderful customer service and as always, are very friendly. read more

Today i go to the Walmart to pick up a prepaid order. We had received a e-mail saying all the items are ready for pick up. I get there and they tell me that only 10 out of 50 items are there, The rest is out of stock, even though the store has plenty. What a waste of time. If i could give them less than one star i would. read more

Ugh. I loathe coming to this Walmart. The money I may save on paper products isn't worth the feeling of depression I have while walking through this store. There isn't a single friendly person who works there. (I've had the displeasure of shopping here approximately four or five times in the last 2 years.) No one can be bothered to smile at you, say hello to you, or respond to you with even the slightest bit of pleasantness. On a few occasions I've had to ask for assistance in locating items, and I've either gotten 'I'm not sure, maybe in isle x', or they'll point in a general direction and say, 'If we have it, it'll be somewhere over there.' In the checkout aisle, the first and last words you hear from the employee, is your total amount due. No 'Hello, how are you today?' No 'Thank you for coming to Walmart.' Nothing. It's like they've been sucked of their souls. They walk around as lifeless soulless zombies. It's quite sad. read more

The shelves in this store are ALWAYS empty or picked over. I never shopped at grocery store that had so many empty shelves. This has been an ongoing issue from the first day they opened the grocery portion of the store---unbelievable. I will take my grocery list and money back to Jewel where they never have empty shelves. read more

Horrible customer service. Rude, slow, attitude - folks who have no intention of working. I asked for help in electronics and Kimberlea tried to ignore me as if I wasn't standing there. She gave me the worst attitude because I was disturbing her. What in the world? I love this Walmart, i have going there since last 7 years. All the staff members are kind and helpful. It's a super Walmart so they added up so many departments. Do try this Walmart for your next shopping experience, they are nice people and great departments. Their Optical and bakery are great. I go to their Pharmacy , too and no major complains. read more

My husband laughed when I told him I had gotten my hair cut at Walmart; however, I'm a busy Mom, so Walmart having a hair salon in store worked great for my schedule. Anyhow, I walk in with one of my toddlers in tow and find two seemingly uninterested stylists sitting around. I ask about an appointment and am taken immediately. That was where the good review ends and the cringing starts. My hair is washed in a combination of hot and freezing cold water. I'm ushered to a chair where the stylists combs my hair, keeps saying sorry because she thinks she's pulling my hair too hard and starts trimming my hair before asking what I want done. When I tell her I want a few inches taken off, she says, "Are you sure? Do you really want to do that to yourself?" I'm thinking damn, my choices are let her finish cutting my hair (since she had already started) or leave and go somewhere else to have my hair finished. She continues cutting my hair with this continuous look of uncertainty on her face. About an hour later (no joke, I was there forever), she's finally done and says, "Wow, this looks so straight. I'd like to add layers to it, but you've already been here a long time, so you're done." I'm like WTF!!!, but my daughter is staring at me (She was ready to leave a long time ago.), so I'm like fine. The stylist asks me if I want a mirror to look at my hair. Well, duh!!! I look and am ready to leave (not wanting to be there any longer) when the stylist once again lets me know she's not thrilled with the cut she just gave me, but she rolled her eyes at me when I asked if the sides were even at which point she says they measure the same length so they must be the same length. Then she tells me I was the second person to ask her that question today. I pay and run out of there (Getting a nasty look because I didn't leave some humungous tip). When I get home, my husband looks at my hair and asks if it looks like one side is longer than the other. Stay far ways from this place! Heed your own common sense, and don't get your hair cut at Walmart regardless of the convenience. Oh yeah, no matter where you go, always asks the stylist how long she's been cutting hair. You don't want to get part way through your hair cut and hear, "Yeah, I've been doing this almost a year now. It only took about a year in school to learn how to cut your hair." Looks like this busy Mom is going to have to take more time out of here schedule and spend more money to have her hair cut correctly. Grrr....!!!!!!!! read more

I went to get a phone from this location. The young lady was less than helpful. The phone I saw on line was said to be in the store and ready for pick up so I decited to go get it in person. When I got to the store the phone I wanted was not there. The usless young lady was not intrested in helping me, she was however intrested in talking to a male employee instead. She said we don't have that phone. I went back home ordered it on line then. The order said it was ready for pickup.I called to conferm thay had it before I went back to the store. When I called I ask to speak to the electronics dept. 3 that's THREE times I was transfered with no answer. The 4th time the lady answered (same one I saw in the store) with could you hold please and left me on hold.I then called back 2 more times amd ask to speak to a manager.Yes it took 2 trys to be connected to an Assistant manager named Mike. He said he would look into it and so I called back 15 minutes later. The lady that answered at the front desk said or are you the lady looking for the phone when I ask to speak to Mike. She then said Mike told me to tell you your order is not ready. He did'nt even want to respond directley to me. So even thow I got a e-mail saying the order was there it was not. And they want a raise. I should hope not. read more
