How did Sam Walton get to be so rich? It's a mystery to me with dumps like this under his belt. It looks like an annex for Chinese goods, they have a huge line of cash registers with the minimum open so that there is a long wait no matter when you go in. I live nearby and can walk, but I hate to go in. Last night the doors didn't work, the produce smelled, and the help is from another plant. If I ask any question I almost always get a, "what? Whats that?" The garden shop is awful and there is never anybody in the television computer area and when you do find somebody they are nearly always ill equipped to deal with the most basic question. I had a pretty bad experience with this Walmart. The checkout is extremely slow and they is almost never more than four to five open at a time. Plus, the nursery has a pretty small selection of plants. They was absolutely no potted cactus! Also the shopping carts are the worst I have ever used in my entire life. They are so hard to get off the other carts and are almost always broken in some way. And the other shoppers are so rude and will run right into you. Don't even get me started on parking. I have had the same guy three times ask me for gas money. It's the same story every single time. If any man asks you for gas money in the parking lot especially if your about to leave, do not give it to him. He has fooled me once but never again. After living here for a year, I needed to update my 5 star review of this place. Unfortunately they never have the normal things I buy. I have spoken to the manager 6 times in 3 months to get some things that they used to carry and nothing has happened. I have to drive across town to the other Walmart on 163rd street to get the items I need. I have decided to buy a bike I saw online. Genesis Onyx. I wanted to pay and pick up at Hallandale Store near me. I called the store to see if they had that model. I know how busy all stores are at Christmas AND IT WAS 5pm[traffic]. I was on hold for 9 minutes[ in the comfort of my home] when a sales person from bikes picked up. First of all I love Walmart! But this Walmart was so bad. I am vacationing here so I really don't know where anything is so I decided to ask one the girl that works there where was it and she didn't understand which is ok with me, what really bothered me is the fact that she gave me an attitude and at the end she decided to ignore me and another shopper actually told me where the item was. When I went to pay the cashier was just rude she stopped the transaction at least 5 times because she was talking with the cashier next to her, when she finish I asked if that was all because I didn't want to leave any bag behind and she rolled her eyes and told me she is not going to stay with the stuff I bought because she doesn't need it! As a professional wrestler , I travel worldwide and as I am from England , I love the stores and business hours of trading in USA because in U.K. , hours of trade especially in Asda ( Walmart ) they are usually limited and the USA Walmart are bigger stores. I like to get my groceries and take them back to my hotel where I do my training in the gyms. There is a staff member named I think AMIN , he is such a lovely pleasant and very helpful young guy who is always cheerful and always happy to assist with anything in the store . Long lines, problem customer at register, manager nowhere to be found. When he finally showed up (and didn't fix the problem) he didn't even offer an apology. The staff seems more eager to congregate at the Subway rather than care about the customers. If you enjoy going to Walmart, drive all the way to Pines and 184th. Shit, even the ones in Carol City and Norland are better. I asked one employee where an item was and without making eye contact, she smacked her teeth and says "ova Thea in hardware somewhere" so off I went to hardware to search found it and then I get in line. The cashier was like it doesn't have a price and put my product down. She didn't call or anything to get the number, nothing. This place is a joke! Offer the curbside pick up, shows the location in the site, indicating the pick up area, but the area is not but an abandoned part of an empty parking lot. Rude and lazy workers around, smoking and on cell phones, unable to give any information. If you try to reach the place by phone, good lucky with that. Absolutely nobody will EVER pick up the phone, and the only time I got answered, after 45 minutes trying, was an answer like : "hold on, I will check..." five minutes waiting and the lady came back to the phone, leafing loud about some thing, and hanged up without saying a word. This is a classical problem of poor management, lack of responsibility and total careless for customers. Due to high suspicious about having Covid (still waiting for test result) my conscious does not allows me to go in and maybe contaminate someone. I went to this walmart early in morning. Unfortunately they stock all the shelfs during the morning time. The store was clean but all of the items are placed in strange locations. Different from the typical setup at other locations. I got fresh sliced meat from deli counter the ladies were friendly and very nice. First I couldn't find bamboo curtains and some fabrics so went customer service to ask if they have it and where I can find it, the answer was fast, no smile, no excuses: what? I don't know! Her name is TEARVIA and she made it easier for me to replace a Bissell vacuum, which I had for less than 3 weeks and stopped working--The Customer Service at BISSELL told me to return it to Walmart, which this young lady, did with no problem. Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The place has great prices. That is really its only redeeming quality. The trash cans are always overflowing with garbage. People constantly harass you outside the entrance for money. The cashiers do not say hi, thank you, or anything. They truly seem aggravated by being there. There never are enough lanes open. The workers frequently carry on conversations with each other while waiting. There only seems to be fun coming, unfriendly, and unhelpful managers on duty. this is by far the worse Walmart I have ever shopped in. Dirty, disorganised, super long, long lines at registers, no self check out, the staff is unmotivated and rude and ignores you, they just hang out and socialize together, they are super slow working or responding to you. I have noticed a lot of staff all over the floor, some chatting on their cell phones, 2 of them to fold 1 pair of pants, the one as you leave not checking whats going out. I saw a couple walking right by register and door without paying, that can be done easily. This is by far the worse management and non productive overstaffing I have ever seen. Okay so I vacation in Hollywood, Florida and so I got stuck going to freaking Walmart to do grocery shopping. In New Jersey, I NEVER EVER go to Walmart, but I was forced here because Florida will always have a strange layout to me and it was close. Today I went to the Walmart in Hallandale and I tried to return your Christmas tree. It was a closed box and I had the receipt. I tried to explain to the customer service rep that the tree was too big for my apartment and I wanted to buy a smaller one online. After explaining to her , she was very rude. I would never expect anyone to be so impolite and aggressive over a CHRISTMAS TREE... a tree. I was in utter disbelief at how disgusting they were acting, not only that but the person was a manager. I have mixed feelings about Walmart. I mean I do love Walmart and I could shop there for hours because there's always something on sale or something to buy. But honestly the service is horrible!!! Especially the customer service area when you have to go & return something. I actually dread getting into that line.
