I really don't like Walmart. And this location is not an exception. WalMart gives the appearance that you save time and money, but after spending hours walking up and down the isle grabbing item you never intended to buy and probably wont use, its no longer a time or cost saver. Its a rare occasion that you will find a friendly employee, short line, or clean bathrooms. I'd rather just buy it from Target or online, however them being open 24hrs is good when your in a pinch. But this is never a go to 1st location its always a last resort. On the plus side, they do have a sewing and fabric section, which I find useful when I need late night refills on thread or needles. read more

Grocery Delivery here is Useless. They will not make the Window you choose and will just delay the order and drop at it at some point in the day. Then tell you orders cant be rushed when you ask why it is being delayed even though you chose a time they gave you. Leading you to either Cancel or miss the order and stuff being stolen or spoiled. Today my husband and sons went to this Walmart to get some basic things for our daughters graduation. While checking out Azeel decided to come over and start taking things out of their hands and bags to check if they were being rung up. The assistant light wasn't on nor did they ask for help! My husband asked for the manager. Walter the manger came over and was no help.. he had just as much of an attitude as the self check rep. I feel as tho my husband and sons were being racially profiled and was being treated like they were trying to steal! Just off how they look and the color of there skin. This whole situation caused Derick another manager to come over.. told my husband he would handle it. I called to speak to Derick to see what he was going to do, what is the way they handle these type of compliantsDerick was very unbothered and said he already told my husband he would handle it and that my husband was screaming at him. No empathy to the incident, or wanting to apologize for what happened.. talking over me to the point where the conversation was useless and he decided to hang up. I called corporate and made a formal complaint. No one should feel like this shopping and if they want to check bags that is what the rep at the door is for! read more

This review is for the hot bar. The sides are very good - the seasoned potato wedges are the best 'taters you'll find around here; the mac & cheese is good; the BBQ beans are just like I would make at home (theirs are missing bacon and onions). The problem is the chicken. Chicken is the only meat they have on this bar. You can get it a few different ways. In the interest of time and schedules, we got dinner from there twice in the past two weeks. My husband's chicken was fine. The first week, my fried chicken was so hard I had to wonder how many times it had been re/re/reheated. It was like biting off a piece of jerky. This week I tried the BBQ chicken. Jerky with BBQ sauce on it. If you ever need to re-sole a pair of shoes, I highly recommend the Walmart Hot Bar's fried chicken. It's definitely moisture proof and tough. Keep some around to fix a flat tire, while you're at it. It definitely deserves the Goodyear trademark. read more

I woke up this morning and realized my front left tire had split in two. So, I definitely had to get some new tires. Besides, it is time to get some, I can't lie, they are a little on the bald side. So, I came into my favorite store. The gentlemen here are always so helpful and knowledgeable. They always make sure I get the correct things done for my vehicle, whether it is for an oil change, etc. I love coming here. And it is not as expensive as the dealership tires. Oh, and they are very quick, I usually get in and out, I appreciate that, because I can be a bit impatient. read more

I give this review mainly because at 8pm on a weekday there was a limited number of lanes open and they were all full with at least 4-5 people waiting to checkout. There should be a better use of personal to keep lines moving. My cashier was very sweet though. I just wish there was more attention to making sure all areas of the store were going smoothly. Lets start off with the fact that this is Walmart. You won't get any special customer service or any extra help if you need it. I usually try and come in late night so I can wander the store calmly looking for what I need. They do have self service checkout which seems to work fine. Their clearance is pretty well marked and you can manage to snag a few deals. Overall this Walmart seems to be pretty well stocked and is a solid location. read more

This place is very dirty and the lines are very long and the cashiers looks and sounds like they don't care about the customers at all! the people in front of me had like 2-4 items each in their carts and it took them 20 minutes to clear them out! Awful awful awful customer care service, this is suppose to be the district store, well every time i go shopping here, there are never carts in the cart area, customers are accustomed of getting their carts from the parking lot. I have heard every excuse in the world for why there are never carts available when i come here, in the cart area. The last time I was there it was raining, I went in the store and low and behold SOS, no carts, I asked an employee that stands at the front entrance if someone could get me a cart, the employee told me to go back outside and get me a cart, I said to that employee, you really expect me to go back out in the rain and get a cart from the parking lot, she said yes the cart employee must have been on lunch. I asked for a manager. Before the manager came another employee from the self check out went and got me a cart form outside in the rain. As I walked away the manager approached, and said to the employee at the entrance and said I'm not going outside. I just shook my head. I have complained to store management and called corporate several times since July, 2021, but the empty cart area doesn't seem to be a priority at this store, I've received promises of improvement but not much has improved in providing customers carts to shop with when entering the store. I've decided to do my shopping at stores that care about providing a shopping cart for customers, to shop with. I will not shop at this Walmart again, i will shop at stores that provide customer with shopping carts I refuse to walk in a store, then have to go back out in the parking lot to get my own cart to shop. On 6-19-16 My wife and ! went grocery shopping at Walmart. I also wanted to return a potato salad that was spoiled (Wal-Mart Deli Red Skin Potato Salad, 4 lb.) The gentleman at Customer service was polite and friendly. Unfortunately he advised he is unable to refund or exchange this purchase for two reasons. I did not have a receipt and we had eaten 50% - 80% of the salad. We have 5 people in our family; me, my wife, my mother and two kids. By the time I prepare five plates of food and five servings of potato salad there may not have been much left. The product was spoiled, bad and did not taste good. I did not feel like arguing with with your employee while my wife waited or my ice cream melted. I love this Wal Mart! It was my favorite one by far until recently. Don't get me wrong, I still like it but I'm mostly just writing this review to say please make this location 24 hours again. Recently this place was open 24 hours but now they close at midnight. I don't get off work until late usually and used to go here late at night and do my shopping and liked being able to shop late. Also, it was always quiet and I like that. Now it closes at 12 and I don't always have time to get there after work. I used to spend a lot of money late a night there and it seemed a lot of customers were upset the night they were turning people away at the front door because they close at 12 now. I stop by around 7am-7:15am to get a pair of shoes before work. Had to be to work by 8am; I walk inside Walmart get three pairs of shoes instead of just the one pair I was coming to get. The shoes I got all are hanging to be $5 a piece. You can call it petty but it's my money. I get to the self check out start my purchase and one out of the three pair of shoes rings up to be $10 so I say something to the cashier at self check out and she checks. I states to her that I have other shoes the same design different colors why is this pair of shoes ringing up for $10. She says let me check walks over to a lady in a Walmart vest later to find out she is the shoe department manager. The shoe department manager hears what I say and walks off with no response. I have never experienced anything like this at any Walmart. When there is a mistake on the stores behave and the customer is right they fix the problem. Make the customer happy and fix the situation in the store later. I know because I use to work retail before I switched over to Health Insurance. Since I didn't have the time to speak to the store manager at the time I called their corporate office and I will be returning all three pair of shoes back to this ratchet ass Walmart on Beach Blvd. From now on I'll just continue to shop at the Walmart off Collins Rd and out of town Walmart's cause this Walmart on Beach Blvd and Southside Blvd has a very rude shoe department manager a short, chubby, lady with glasses. read more

Most of the employees that work this location are nice and courteous. However the low rating is for the pharmacy. They constantly drop the ball on refill requests. 25 percent of the time they claim they never got it. Then you have to wait, call the doctor, and them hope it isnt the weekend. Refill times often take two hours if you are dropping it off. What if someone is in pain or they have a sick child with them? Publix usually takes 20-25 minutes read more

At least half of the employees I dealt with were not even close to pleasant. The woman checking me out didn't load one of my bags and and I got home (after driving across town with a toddler) and realized and called, they did very little in helping the issue or even being apologetic of their mistake. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Never have I had to wait 30 minutes to "drop off" a prescription when there is no one in line ahead of me. Then when I finally get someones attention they don't have the medicine in stock and ask me if I'd like to wait 5 days!?!? Are you kidding me!?!? Then when you call the next closest walmart which is 30 minutes away to see if they have the medication jn stock, they can't tell you over the phone do to their "policy".
