As a transplant from the west coast, this Walmart is by far one of the nicest ones I've been to. It's more organized and the employees are friendly and welcoming. The parking lot can be a bit chaotic depending on the time you go (weekends and in the evening). Also, the belted self-checkout lanes tend to be closed in the morning. So if you're looking to do some major shopping in the morning, don't count on those to be open. My plus for this location is finding rambutan and tamarind! My kids loved the rambutan read more

It's another Walmart. Well, it's a Supercenter. I stopped here to pick up a few household items. The store was not too crowded. That made for a somewhat better shopping experience. I was able to find everything i needed. I even found fresh Krispy Kreme donuts. I had to pick up a few of those. I needed help finding something and there was no employee to be found Finally, I did and she told me she doesn't speak English. I just forgot about the item. Checkout was a mess. They did not have self checkout open. I don't love it, but at least I ccan pay faster. Only one cashier was on hand and the line was a few people deep. This Walmart is the absolute worst. As a Walmart+ member, I think it's insane that every time I try to use the Scan & Go service which is the number one reason I have Walmart+ to begin with, I have to argue with employees that constantly tell me that I can't use that lane. The only reason Spark/Scan & Go exists is because of Walmart+ members. We either use the service to have the grocery delivered to us by a Spark shopper OR we go into the store ourselves, scan our own groceries and check out in a NO LINE, NO WAITING lane designed for this service. But the biggest issue is, these employees will actually argue with you and a lot of them even go as far as to talk crap (in Spanish) to the Spark shoppers about you. One employee even called me "estupido¡" And complaining to a so called manager is senseless because they will take the side of the employee. On one separate occasion, The Scan and Go register was not opened so I asked a front employee to open it and she literally looked at me in my face and said, "NO!" in an angry tone. On another occasion, I asked an employee for an item that showed it was IN STOCK on the website but she didn't want to help me find it and instead told me she's busy doing something else. I pulled out my phone and pretended to record her and asked her to repeat what she'd said but this time, with a phone in her face she was the perfect employee and helped me find the item. The staff in this store is ATROCIOUS!!! Of course, not everyone is mean but the bad apples (mostly all the staff) ruin it for the rest of the bunch. This is the Walmart closest to my home so I'm here frequently and if I ever need assistance, I always have expect the absolute worst customer service so when I encounter a nice employee, it's a shock to me. I tend to seek out the nicer employees every time I need help with something. read more

Nice large Super Walmart in Pembroke Pines. I went to get something from their pharmacy department and I found that area a bit tighter and smaller than other Super Walmarts that I have been to. Still, they had the items I was looking for, at the everyday Low Prices that Walmart is famous for. The lip balms were all over the place in terms of prices and brands. I always look for the unit price to help me determine which one product is the best value. There was a nice machine to make Keys near the entrance, which is always helpful to know...many times we only think to go to a hardware store for that, but now you can just go to Walmart and get it done ! read more

I went to purchase a copy of Robocop: Rogue City for the PS5 at this Walmart, and left excited to dive into one of my favorite childhood IPs. On the car ride home after leaving the store, I took the time to unwrap it and see not the game I wanted, but a copy of Madden 21 for the PS4. Needless to say I was quite annoyed, so I turned around and went to customer service to return the wrong game for a refund or exchange. The staff and team leads made little to no effort to help me out, saying that once the game is opened outside the premises, it is no longer their responsibility and they are not obligated to give me my money back. Additionally, after talking to the employee in the electronics department who rung up my purchase about how I was expected to know that the wrong game was in the case had I not opened it, he said I was not allowed to open the cases and check the game until after I purchased it. I have never had this issue with any other store that has sold video games to me in the past, and this policy was never clearly outlined anywhere to me or anyone at the store or on their website. I was then instructed to call the 1-800-WALMART number for further assistance. I did just that immediately afterwards, only to be told that I must speak to the manager or team leads, sending me into a seemingly never-ending cycle of incompetency and bureaucratic nonsense. Upon talking to Chasity (team lead), she agreed to allow me to return the next day and speak with one of the senior service managers (Darnell) especially since Francis (the main manager) was not present when I was there. I will return and see if they will be willing to accommodate me with an exchange/store credit at the very least, and edit this review accordingly. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service that this location has provided me. I try to be civil but I do not find my frustrations to be misguided or unreasonable as common sense would dictate that when you purchase a product and it turns out to be something completely different, it is not your own fault and you should not be able to know this until after you open it. What I know for certain is that in the future I will not be purchasing electronic media such as video games from this location again, and I would advise others to be made aware of this nonsensical policy before doing the same. This could happen to just about anyone, and I would not like for others to experience the same frustrations that I have. read more

Employees trying to shoo customers away from ALL self checkouts with more than 15 items! No signs up, just a few employees moving from place to place telling customers to stop putting items already on the belt if they have more than 15 items. Again - NO SIGNS!. As busy as this place once was it isn't any less busy during this pandemic. I will say they are much more organized and helpful than before. I do my best to stay in my home, safe and protected. (At least that's the goal). But, on occasion I do venture out, hand-sanitizer always close by and my pretty mask on, ready to peel off the first chance I get. When I run in here it's to pick up a few things max because the objective is to get in and out as quickly as I can. And that's exactly my experience. Going through the self-check-out lane is a must, I highly recommend. Make sure you are ready when it's your turn to go so you're not the one everyone is staring at because you're holding up the line. This is one busy Walmart. I often run in here quick on the way to work. Yes, it is hard to find a cashier these days but I have become pretty good at scanning my own items. This location is usually well stocked. I find the staff to be okay, not the most helpful but not rude either. Lately I have found some better quality food items imported from Italy that you wouldn't expect from a local Walmart. This location is nostalgic for me in that my adult children used to come here with me when they were little. It's amazing how time flies and the toy department is no longer needed. read more

Don't do curbside order from here if you don't have a hour of your time to spare. I did the check in on the way to Walmart. Once we got there we couldn't find where to pickup our order. Signs would really help with this..... We tried calling 4 times to the curbside pickup, nobody answered any of the times. We then had to park & go in and ask where to go- 2 different workers pointed and said, "over there" which didn't help at all. This is one of the best Walmart Supercenters in South Florida! It's always frequented day and night, and the associates are helpful. Most are bilingual and some even tri-lingual; speaking creole or patua. The store is well merchandised and clean. I have come here when visiting the area and always had a good experience, finding just what I needed and being able to check out through the many self-checkout registers in a seamless manner. The one thing I was disappointed with this last visit was that we were specifically looking for flower arrangements and they had none. They had loose flowers and a few bouquets without bows, but nothing ready to gift. So, we picked up a few things and then headed down the street to another store where we bought a gorgeous bouquet-in-a-vase with a beautiful ribbon, balloons, chocolates and a card. Hopefully our next shopping experience will be more complete here where we can make all of our purchases in one store! read more

I always go to this Walmart never really have an issue. Today I went to get deli meat for the first time. A lady who was caucasian bought cold cuts and cheese. The lady asked her if she wanted to taste her meat like how they always do at publix. I went next and bought cold cuts was not asked if I wanted to taste my order. Tuesday 7:30 pm, trip to pick up some supplies at Walmart. Store shelves look like people have stocked up for a major storm! Empty shelves in every aisle and little effort being made in re-stocking the store. Not one bottle of distilled water, rice aisle looks like its been picked over twice and all that is left is scraps. The juice section looks like a black hole and forget the canned vegetables, what happened here? Did they miss a FEW truck deliveries? Are the Walmart drivers on strike? Have the suppliers cut Walmart off? Or is this just a case of poor store management? I never truly expect much from Walmart but tonight was a disaster stocking up on some essentials at Walmart. This is my usual Walmart. I don't usually complain about an issue unless I can't fix it or help find a solution and I find obstacles to getting it fixed. This isn't a complaint in fact, it's more of a simple statement that I'm sure that most of us have said before in regards to help at the large box stores, Walmart is no exception. Here's the deal, don't bother asking for help from the employees at this store, it's useless. I asked 3 employees for Brita water pitcher replacement filters and was told that they don't carry them. I knew that they were wrong. One girl pointed me toward the mini water bottles and said that this was all the carried. I used the Walmart app and checked the in store feature and found what I needed across the store in hardware!!! I even helped a lady looking for the same thing after another clueless employee dumped her in front of the filters and said they're here somewhere and walked away!! This Walmart's customer service center for returns/exchanges is lacking in customer service! No one greets you, even when you get to the register, they see the line growing and they ignore you, and they are very rude and unhelpful. I had one exchange because my new Brita filter jug was cracked when I opened it at home and I just needed to exchange it for one that was not cracked. There were 2 cashiers doing exchanges when we got in line. Right when we were next in line the second cashier left and didn't even say anything to us. The couple in front of me literally had a cart full of returns, with more than 3 receipts. After waiting more than 10 mins, I asked another associate to get a manager to get another cashier and she gave me a rude response about not being able to do that, that she was doing her returns, that even she couldn't get a manager when she needed one. Another person in line behind me, chimed in saying that all I was asking was to please see if someone else could come to help. The associate proceeded to vent to the cashier who had just come behind the counter and didn't even let us know that she would be helping us in a minute. There is a serious lack of customer service in this store. Other instances with poor customer service have happened to me at this store as well. read more

This Walmart is near and dear to my heart. So many memorizes of being in highschool and making a midnight run to Walmart for milk and cookies, chocolate anything! I love that its 24 hrs even on holidays, the one and ONLY thing that I do not like and reason why they do not get 5 stars is parking. You would think with a name like SUPERcenter you would have an incredible experience shopping, but sadly thats not the case. This humungous store feels like you're in a warehouse so if you need just a couple of items it can feel like you're walking with Moses in the desert. Im not sure if its company policy to have so many unattended cash registers but when you're ready to pay it seems like a nightmare finding a register where you can get in and out of quickly. Recently they added a section of Self Checkout which softens the blow, but if you're not tech savvy or patient self check out can be tough too.... for example "Please place item in the bagging area" error is my pet peeve. My experience at this particular location varies depending on what Im searching for, sometimes the employees are more than happy to help and other times it feels like you're pulling teeth. On a positive note, they do carry thousands of items and great prices so it IS a one stop shop for most, just plan on spending a good portion of the day inside the store (locating items and check out) read more

Not sure why all the bad reviews - this place always has parking, has literally 10,000 items available 24 hours per day, and the lines are much faster now than they ever used to be. Let's comprehend that there are parts of the (even developed) world where you would not be able to find this volume of selection and merchandise 24 hours per day! I recently spent time in a major city in Europe and after 5 pm on a Sunday, you would not be able to find a basic item like a protein shake as those are sold at a "specialty store on the other side of town" and that store is closed on the weekends! I waited nearly 10 minutes at the front of the line because my cashier, who was on the clock, decided that she needed to socialize and take a break to go buy crackers midway through checking me out. I couldn't make this up if I tried. If Walmart and Publix combined (Publix's amazing service and Walmart's affordable prices) they would be unstoppable.
