Okay- I understand this is Walmart and service is not their specialty but for goodness gracious... With all of your employees can't someone manage the auto desk?! I needed a key made. Another couple was in the auto department clearly waiting for a service member to return. He did after several minutes (10) and told them to go somewhere else for help (customer service). He then looked at me and WALKED away, I have a back problem and tried to get his attention walking after him, but it was soon clear I wouldn't without screaming he was booking it so fast. I then went to the paint counter and waited another 5 minutes to ask for some service. The woman told me to try electronics... Don't these people have an intercom? Yes they do- it was right next to her but I had to walk my back aching back down to electronics to find someone to help. A young women spared her conversation with a coworker to quickly walk to the auto department, fiddle with the machine (like she knew what she was doing) and then say "our machine is broken at the moment." thanks. 25 minutes wasted and nothing but a headache and an irritable attitude to show for it read more

Sorry - I am not a huge fan of Wal Mart. This particluar one is on par with the rest of Wal Marts which means YIKES! It is nothing to write home about but will do in a pinch. The produce is fair at best, the selection is huge but getting through the store and out of the parking lot is a nightmare. read more

Here is Wal-Mart in a nut shell. Recently, for a few months, there were selling chicken strips, lightly breaded with a hint of pepper, yummy too. But soon went back to the old heavy breaded strips that dry up fast and are not even as good. Now I asked the worker why the change back, she said because they weight more. Even though there is more breading for weigh this is the true wal mart way. Sure we all go there because many things are there, (until your looking for that current item you use to buy) But realize this.. 93 percent of all wal-mart goods are NOT made in the USA. People they buy these goods cheap and don't really pass it on. Have you noticed how small containers are getting smaller for a higher price. Admit it, you are hooked, they know you are, I fall into buying more than I come in for a few things..you. Now a days I try to watch myself in wal-mart, you have to. Now they want a 15 dollar charge to lay-away. They throw freight in the peak business hours, employees..? Have you ever priced matched and held up the line because you just confussed the checker. Items on the shelves, BE CAREFUL that the price you see is the price of the item. They put things anywhere there is a spot at the monent. You see a price, you buy it, get it home, you over paid, you don't realize it because you have a life and Wal- Mart wins. OK enough, OK one more gripe..Carts, is it that hard to keep up with this job, you have motorized equipment to push them, There is a lack to pride in the work force here. I just sat on the phone waiting for someone to tell me whether or not the store had Rug Doctor rentals for FIFTEEN MINUTES. Initially when I called a woman picked up the phone and asked how she could help me and then said she would call a manager - because she wasn't sure who to send me to. The nice woman who answered the phone is the ONLY reason this store got 2 stars instead of one. After I had been on hold for 5 minutes she picked up the phone again and let me know that she had reached someone and that try would answer the call soon. After I had been on hold for 11 minutes she picked up again and reassured me someone would pick up soon and thanked me for my patience. After FIFTEEN MINUTES a different lady huffily picks up the line and asked how she can help. She sounded so put out for asking. Like I had interrupted and destroyed her entire day. I was such an inconvenience to her she could barely contain her tone. I let her know I was calling in regards to the Rug Doctor rental service that the Rug Doctor website said this particular Walmart had. My question was met by her response of, "And? What about it?" I was caught so off guard by her lackluster response and frankly less than professional tone it took me a moment to even come up with something to say. Which she sharply met with a, "Well?" In a hurry to end the phone call I told her I just needed to know if they had them and how much they were. She spoke so quickly I couldn't tell you how much she said they were and when i asked if it was a daily rental basis she said, "I think so." And her response to my next question of whether or not that meant by midnight or another time was the same. She didn't know. I waited 15 minutes to be treated like garbage by a "manager" who didn't know diddly squat. I know none of us expect much from Wally World but at least try woman!! read more

Oil changing service sucks!! Waited an hour...doesn't seem too long, I guess. my car rolled into the bay and sat there for another hour, the hood never opened. This was on a Saturday afternoon around 2p. I asked what the delay was, but never got a good answer. The guy at the counter mumbled "why does everyone come at the same time". Well the same time or not, my question is "why does it take so long just to change the oil?" There was 1 car in the bay when I drove up. I will never go to Walmart for an oil change again. For Walmart, not bad. Overall its generally well stocked and pharmacy is waaaaayyyyy better than the one on Kietzke. The one on Kietzke I wont even go to anymore. Rather drive out of my way or shop elsewhere and spend more than deal with that mess. At least the people on 7th have been helpful when I've needed assistance. And the pharmacy at least has knowledgeable personnel. read more

this Walmart by far is so much better than the one i use to go into in Califonia!!!!! This Walmart in Reno is cleaner, friendlier, and more orginized. I want to thank the associates in this Walmart for doing their jobs with a friendly additudes. But, as to their rotissery chickens theyneed to do more than LemmonPeppered seasonings. I am giving 5 Stars to the Regency Nails Salon inside the Walmart Super Center. I had Anita doing my pedicure. She was great! She took her time and didn't rush at all. She was very sweet and nice. I recommend her to everybody. All workers at Regency Nails were very nice and friendly, and I sat down for my pedicure right away! I will definitely ask for Anita next time I need a pedicure :) read more

This is the absolute worst Walmart I've been too. They were selling an entertainment center in store for almost $300 and when I checked online it was $240. My boyfriend works for Walmart so he gets a discount that brought it to $230 with shipping and tax online. But we wouldn't be able to get it for three weeks with store pickup. But since we knew they had them in stock my boyfriend called and asked if we could get the price plus his discount honored and they said yes. So that night we went in. First off we couldn't lift the damn thing off the shelf so we asked for carry-out help. Literally 30 minutes and 2 pages over the intercom later nobody comes. So we call my mom to help us hoist it on top of a cart, awkwardly. We get to the front and they honor their website price but not his discount. They refuse. We tell them to next time make sure that wires are not crossed because someone in the back doesn't know what they're talking about. Mind you, the front end supervisor also took like another 30 minutes just to get to the check stand we were at. We tell them about how nobody came to help us even after two pages. Same thing, nothing they can do. So we tell them to take it off, we'll order it online. Hands-down worst customer service experience I've had in a very long time. I've never been one to complain considering I work in retail and know how it is, but this was ridiculous. Get your sh** together Walmart. read more
