The tire center was supposed to rotate our tires. The car had been been running without any problems until that moment. They rotated the tires and my husband took the car. After reaching 35 miles an hour getting on the freeway, the wheels started making explosive metal on metal noises, and throwing sparks. He took it back and they refused to take off the wheel to fix it, instead demanded we pay more to get the tires balanced. We took it to Les Schwabb who fixed the problem for free and told us the problem was when the tires were rotated, they were put on improperly. Went back to the store to complain, but the manager did not even demonstrate any concern at all that their faulty and negligent work may have killed someone. read more

EMPLOYEE SMASHED MY DOGS FACE OPEN!! We came in to buy some things for our camping trip and while walking out after paying, this short Hispanic woman who could barely speak English stopped us out of 8 different groups of people leaving and grabbed our cart and was harassing us for our receipt. I told her it got shoved in the purse and I didn't see where it was and pointed to the associate who WATCHED US PAY and went out on my way until she grabbed the side of the cart and swung it around so fast that our puppy's head got smashed against the side of it and I told her to let go and walked out. It wasn't until I got to my vehicle that I noticed my puppy's head gushing blood. Now we are stuck with a $1500 vet bill and they want us to write an incident report which DOESNT DO SHIT except give her a slap on the wrist. I have never been singled out and been treated so horribly. Even the managers who were standing outside wouldn't help us up. read more

First off this walmart is very inconsistent with the products they carry. I have gone in numerous time only to find they don't have what I'm looking for on one trip but have it on the next one. I've given up even shopping here due to this alone, however the final straw for me was when they decided to pull the toys for tots bin and the angel tree for seniors right before Christmas. Real classy move walmart, not to mention those bins and trees certainly help boost your sales. After hearing on the local news that they actually made these charities remove their trees and bins I will never shop Walmart again. I hope others choose this option as well. read more

I ordered something online and picked it up at the store. I forgot the guy and girl's name, but they were absolutely helpful. They helped my husband and I load the big item we bought. I always say I don't want to shop at Walmart, but they were so friendly with us and helped us, I'm sure I will be back. They also made the online shopping pickup very easy. I used the orange tower once before and was pretty easy as well. Thank you to the two employees that helped us yesterday as well to the first employee that let us know they were working on bring out our order. read more

I just tried the Walmart grocery app... and I will definitely continue to use this service! I am busy and sometimes making time to walk around a crowded store is time consuming when I have other things to do. You can go to the walmart website, register for an account and just do your shopping online. Download the app onto your phone and you can even shop from your phone. This lets you pay online and then schedule a time to come pick up your order. They bring it to your car and load it up for you. Easy! I tried it for the first time this morning and it was so nice. the woman who brought my order out, Leslie, was so nice and helpful. My order was correct and they had every item that I ordered from online. I can literally get from home to the store and back in 10 minutes with all of my groceries. The app or your online account also helps with budgeting as it tabulates the cost as you add each item. They are also in the process of building a good sized parking lot at one end of the store just for these pick up orders. I can't say enough good about it. If you hate going into walmart and fighting the crowds and lines, try this! read more

The worst customer service ever!!! Waited in line at sporting goods for 15 minutes while another department paged for a sales rep to sporting goods. Nobody showed. Called the store twice while waiting and no answer on the phone. It disconnected me after 30-40 rings each time I called. Thanks. I'll be shopping at TARGET from now on! read more

We had a run-in with the Walmart supercenter on E. 2nd St. Their customer service wouldn't do anything for us and just didn't dicked us around on a non-electronic 32 inch TV wall mount. I don't like to give negative reviews but this one is warranted. I stand QUIETLY in the pharmacy line to pick up my husbands prescriptions when I'm called "next in line!". So I tell begin to tell a lady that I'm there to pick up and she interrupts me and says ,"You have to get off your cell phone". I have an earpiece that I leave in (should be taken out I admit because it isn't small like a Bluetooth and has a string hanging from it) and it can be distracting. Also it is very rude to talk on a cell while picking up a prescription & cell phone use is out of control. I get it. I was NOT talking on my phone but who is WALMART (Smaller lady with a thick accent) to tell ME to get off my cell phone even if I WAS talking on it? So I politely remove the earpiece from my ear and tell her I'm not on the phone. Let me just say this..............I have no more negative words for condescending cashiers. Never buy a television from Walmart.com. I ordered a 65" television online to practice social distancing during this pandemic. Our family was very excited and waited a week for delivery. It was delivered to our door by fed ex. We get it inside unpack it set it up then turn it on and the entire screen is cracked everywhere. So I repack it mind you it's a 65" tv lug it to my car and take it along with the receipt to Walmart Damonte Ranch. I wanted an in store credit refund instead of refunding my credit card which btw takes an additional 5 days to receive your refund. That way I could purchase another tv in store that day. Forget customer service, they don't care about all the hassle and disappointment this process was and refused to give me a refund via gift card. I think this is ridiculous. Not to mention how rude they're customer service department was to me. They made me feel as if it was my fault. read more

This is one of the nicest and cleanest Walmart stores that I've ever been to. I haven't had too many issues with the service. Only once, and that was with the pharmacy staff a couple of years ago not wanting to give me my medication even after showing them ID. Some of the staff do need more training on procedure, policy, and item location. read more

I have shopped at Walmart for many years but I am going elsewhere now. I understand they are re-doing their floors and there is so much stress - customers, employees, vendors and management. I know when Ralyes changed their flooring they provided maps so you could find what you were looking for (I don't like going in circles) or at least had people on the floor to help. I need an item they keep locked and when I approached the employee for help and was rudely (in my face) told she didn't have time to help me before I could even ask her for help (it would have taken 1 minute - get item and ring it up). So I just said OK and put all my items back (I won't just leave them for someone else to put away) and went elsewhere. Don't know if I will go back. read more

Ahhh Walmart - let's face it, you either love them or you hate them. I hate them for grocery shopping, but I love them when I need to find automotive light bulbs, cat food and socks in one shopping trip. The Damonte Walmart is by far, the cleanest Walmart I've been to in Reno but their produce and fresh groceries just aren't the same as Smith's. Everything goes bad so much quicker that I end up spending more money to replace it than what I would spend at Smith's for groceries that last twice as long. But everything else in this Walmart is great, everything is stocked and I can normally find whatever it is that I'm looking for. Others have mentioned that the customer service is terrible at this location. I, for one, haven't experienced that in the three years I've been coming to this Walmart. Some of their checkers are extremely slow, so I just know to avoid them if I'm in a hurry. They have a large parking lot and as long as you don't go during the peak times (the weekend), you won't have any trouble finding a parking spot. I won't shop here for groceries, but I'll be back when I need a bunch of odd items for a good price. read more

I had a bad situation that was handled very well. I had ordered online to pickup at 5. I arrived at about 5:10. Apparently they had a few employees call in today and we're having computer problems on top of that. An employee named Daniel came out to let us know what was going on with our order and that it was going to be a bit of a wait. I didn't want to use the gas to drive all the way home and back again, so we decided to just hang out in the car. Daniel kept checking in with us to make sure we knew they were still working on it, he brought a few waters and a sucker for my daughter. It took almost 2 hours, we finally got our order at 6:45. The manager, Carlos, came to apologize to me and gave us the entire order for free, I didn't complain to him, or get upset or yell at the employees, they made it right because they knew it was the right thing to do. It sucked to have to sit in my car for 2 hours, but it was a situation out of their control and they were doing the best the could, and the way they handled it from moment one was fantastic. read more

I like that this Walmart is close to my home and cleaner than most other stores. I have had difficultly with customer service, especially just finding someone to help me in the electronics department. I understand that loss through stealing by customers is a concern for the company but I find it very frustrating to be shopping for electronics in general and for a cell phone cover specifically, and have everything locked. Also the employees in that department are few and far between so it is difficult to find someone to unlock the product to evaluate it. I would suggest more employees to help unlock these products or to not lock them up. The employees who are available are friendly and helpful. read more

I had the most horrible experience ever! For those of you who will take the time to read this I come from a latino back round yes I am part Mexican ! But that doesn't mean you can treat me any different!!!! Or does it ? Well we live up in the Lake Tahoe area And we enjoy shopping in Reno so ones a week we shop at Walmart this particular one , well this week would be so much more than just a stop at the one Walmart we got to the check out and the cashier Gloria was Beyond racist and rude she expected me to hand everything to her, mind you the merchandise is already on the counter that moves as you are scanning the merchandise so she looks at me then my husband and dose that a few times. Then she gives me a look like what are you wanting for are you stupid! And so I'm like I'm probably taking this the wrong way so I give her the benefit of the doubt and I hand her what she asked the toilet paper but this is why I don't want wrong she gives me that stupid look again and then I look at her and I said oh did you want me to hand you the beer as well but then that's when I realize she was doing it because she was being discriminating against ! Cuz the beer was right next to her so she was even more rude and racist after that at this point she asked my husband for ID and then she asked me for mine too and I ask excuse me ma'am why are you asking me for my ID is it because I actually touched the beer to hand them to you when you gave me the look and told me to hand it to you when they were right next to you? Then she completely refused to sell us the beer and the rest of the items my husband being the type of person that he has wanted to walk away me on the other hand I speak my mind and I will stand up for myself and my family over anything and everyone! So I asked for a manager shockingly the manager recognize me from shopping there a lot he was super shocked that I was being treated that way and then there was another gentleman that was a supervisor as well he hadn't seen it before he tried listening to the problem as she would like cut me off over and over again making a huge ordeal which was very Embarrassing at this point all the people are looking at us wanting to know what is going on so I said excuse me ma'am can you stop being disrespectful and cutting my conversational I'm trying to explain to your manager to look in the camera because you are saying I never showed you my ID which is not correct so if you look at the camera you see that you're just being rude and refusing to sell us merchandise !!! And you know ma'am without customers you don't get a paycheck so let me remind you that you have a job because all" us people" shop here !! So for all of you who think the same way as I do that we are all the same and deserves to be treated the same I hope you speak up to just cuz we have a ignorant president dos not mean all racist people should come out and speak their mind and miss treat people!!!!!
