So much for price matching. Carefully check online price before you buy as this store seems to markup its items. Of course many of us dont have time to go around checking this stuff. Spoke to customer service and their answer was to return and get refund and order online (free shipping). So they will pay shipping on an item that weighs nearly 20# rather than do the right thing and refund the difference. Their customer service people on the phone were not in the least concerned. I did a grocery pickup today for almost $130 because I was low on food and needed to really stock up. I had to refund about 6 items because the quality of the items picked was so horrible. To start, the strawberries I ordered were covered in MOLD. Mold that was incredibly noticeable so I don't understand why the shopper would still put them in my bag. Then one of the heads of garlic I ordered was also molded and had gone bad. I've always known Walmart produce isn't the freshest or the best, but I have never once gotten molded items. This is completely unacceptable. I also got some canned foods and 4 of the 8 cans I received were so badly dented to the point where it wouldn't be safe to consume them. They also wanted to sub my cherries for grapes which makes no sense to me being that they are two completely different things. Why not just say out of stock? The convenience of Walmart pickup really helps because I have two bad ankles and a bad back so it's hard for me to go shopping sometimes, but now it's to the point where I end up trashing the stuff I was most looking forward to because of the negligence of the staff. The Walmart app does a great job at refunding you for the items, but unfortunately I am now left without some key items I needed for recipes I was planning on using. It's not hard to briefly look over an item before putting it in a cart so I don't know why that every time I do a grocery pickup I keep having to trashing items. read more

Once again, a complete waste of time. I need a new battery for my truck. They have the battery, but not tbe terminal lugs, which I know Pleasant Grove has. In fact, the battery accessory selection here has all of ONE item, which is not for the battery I need. (I'll write a good review if I ever have a good experience at this store.) read more

This locations customer service department is a joke. They almost always have issues with the registers and or money orders and the employees in the customer service department seem to hate their job. I have heard them openly complaining about working for the company, and the total lack of communication they deal with. I would recommend another location before this one if you have to do anything in the customer service department. read more

Third time using the on line pick up at this location and third time in standing here forever. You can push the screen on the pos machine to call an associate but it still takes forever. I've been to the on line pick up at the Pleasant Grove location and haven't had to wait this long. I guess I have to go there from now on. read more

I was at the Walmart tonight. Saw a computer that I wanted. I waited 30 minutes for the employees to get it from the back. They said only a manager can get it down from the racks. As I sat there I notice the store was not busy. I left without my new computer that was never retrieved from the back. I bought a computer on Amazon tonight. It's the cleanest and nicest Walmart option in the area. Normal Walmart prices and a large store with lots of room to maneuver. They stock a decent amount of organic ingredients. I liked this store much better than the other locations in the area. read more

My review is for their VISION CENTER! Edward is the BEST!!! The prices and selection of frames are quite good. They are very quick to get your prescription lenses in. We come to this Walmart 2 times a month for "big time" grocery shopping. My daughter and I always start off by having dinner at the McDonalds and EVERY TIME the only 2 booths are filled with Walmart employees. Sometimes just one employee at a huge booth. I've even seen customers with no places to sit. No only are they taking up the best spots to sit...but they're not even eating! Very rude! read more

Tonight I went to this store and finally realized that for a smart guy I'm stupid for going here. I saw more employees sitting around waiting for I don't know what. That makes it annoying when you're there for a few things and it takes two cashiers to run the 100,000 square foot store. First time there, and never again. Ordering on line was super easy. Got text saying it was ready. Got there at 9:28 am. and signed in, by the time I left I had signed in 3 times thinking I did something wrong. Waited 50 minutes for my order. While I was waiting, 8 cars drove up after me and left before me. I was told by an employee they were short staff, which I replied that doesn't explain why 8 cars have come after me and left. I asked another employee why the wait was so long, he looked at me and walked off with no response. So, I get my order and it's missing items which I had to point out. So now I have to go through my order and I have someone else stuff mixed with my order. Now, it's 65 minutes. What a mess!!! Never again.!!! read more

If I could give there bakery a big zero I would!!!!! It was my sons first birthday. I normally order cakes from SAMs club. Thought it would be fun to try a themed cake they had at Walmart that they didn't have at SAMs. My sons birthday party started at 12pm so I had the pick up time at 8am. They had to freeze our cake which caused it to crack all the way down the middle. Then they tried to fix it with a girl that wasn't a cake decorator. The cake decorator didn't come in until 11 so she could fix it. Then I get the phone call of it wont be ready until 12:30 to pick up. So yes, I had to leave my sons first birthday to pick it up. Didn't get home until 1pm. I was beyond upset and not happy. Do u think they did anything for that, NO! I will never order another cake there again!!!!!! read more

Well...Rocklin just took 2 steps backwards in classiness. A giant walmart that is exactly the same as the other walmarts, except it has larger aisles. The first thing you'll notice is that no matter how new, large or whatever town the walmart is in, it attracts the sloths of every ethnicty. I wish I could give a zero star review. Of all the Walmarts I've been to this is by far the worst. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every single time. Cashiers are rude 99% of the time. Half the time they don't ever say anything until it's time for them to tell you your total. No "hello" or anything. I'm not expecting a conversation but when somebody asks you how your day is going, the least they could do is reply in a somewhat friendly tone. All the employees look like they don't want to be there, which I get it I don't want to go to work either, but when you're being paid then you suck it up, smile, and at least say hello. Also, they are always out of stock on everything. Numerous times I've come in to purchase a specific item only to see the counter empty. Please refill you stock when it's empty. read more

We shop at a lot of Walmart's across the state and the one in Rocklin is one of the best. The employees are clean and helpful. And the Walmart shoppers are just regular middle class people. So many times we see the most unusual people in other Walmart's, but not here. We feel safe. Love the low prices and large selection. read more

This is the worst store!!!!!!! My daughter bought multiple items on her way home from Auburn at this location. The cashier asked if she wanted to purchase any bags? She told her she wanted one and put everything in it. Her receipt shows one bag charged. When she got home to Chico there were a few items missing, which was the gift card and a card she purchased and was charged for. She called and I called a second time and asked for a manager. The gal who answers the main number is rude and has NO personality. Both the Person my daughter spoke to and the Manager Zach said there was nothing they could do for her outside of her making a 4 hour round trip drive back there to pick it up. They can't credit her card or call the local store!!! They messed up and they can't accommodate the problem in any sort of way but completely inconvenience the customer? Zach did not listen when I told him it was a gift card and card and told me the items would be put away after a few days. I reiterated it was a gift card. He then said they could hold on to that. I was concerned that it would be there as they don't hold everything for customers and wouldn't hold anything if it was paid and their mistake? Since I was asking again he was so rude and said, " as I just said ma'am if you were listening to me....". The. I asked, " Where are these items so she knows where to go pick them up?" He said, " I have no idea I am speaking to you on the phone right now." What a way to speak to a customer and only make me more angry. I would give zero stars if it would let me!!! read more

Stopped by this Walmart for my weekly list of items because I was in that area. I could not believe the absolute poor customer service I experienced in multiple sections of this store! First, the deli dept. i asked the associate for a pound of turkey shaved. The manager of the dept was walking by and jumped in the conversation and very rudely said "we don't shave here!" (Pleasant grove Walmart does it every week for me). I felt bad for the girl that was helping me. She was new and this is how the dept manager was training her. Second, I get to the register and Andrew, the cAshier, had his cell phone sitting on the register and was constantly checking it. Then he was shoving my groceries in the bag. I told him , I didn't mind paying for more bags if he needed more space to NOT crush my produce. He proceeded to tell me "that's why I didn't put your bread in yet". Then he opened another bag and kept dropping, and I mean dropping from high up, my onions and peaches. I could not believe the sheer rudeness of this kid. He was saying "f you lady" without actually saying it. Finally, the all over appearance of the store was terrible. Out of stocks everywhere. Hardly any produce on the shelves. Don't go to this Walmart. I will not set foot in here again. Thanks Andrew for being the last thing I experienced before I left here. You made sure I and my family never come back! read more

Haven't really had any bad experiences at this location. They usually have a door greeter there at all times and the one I'm used to seeing was replaced by someone else tonight. As I was walking i heard her having a laugh with customers as they left. I went I did my shopping and in about 20 minutes I was ready to leave. I go to self check out, as I normally do. (Don't like the lines or having that awkward convo with the clerk about how the day is going) after I made my purchase the lady managing the self check out was eyeballing me as I left back towards the door I originally came in. The same greeter was there but didn't leave me alone or try to be friendly with me instead she asked to see my receipt. I said "what? you wanna see my receipt?" She said yeah. So I gave it to her she scanned it with her finger looked at all the items I was carrying along with eyeballing my person before handing it back. Told me to have a good night. What the hell? I've never felt so singled out while shopping in here. Not once in my life have I been asked to show my receipt to anyone at Walmart. Most the time I just toss it on my way out from self check out where there is a pile of receipts to begin with. Won't forget that experience read more

This was the worst experience, not only for a Walmart, but for any store I've ever been to. Spent half an hour on hold waiting for someone to tell me the dimensions of a TV box to ensure it would fit it my car before driving there. That should never take half an hour, plus at one point while I was in the middle of a sentence the employee cuts me off and says hold on and puts me on hold again. Then after they told me we head down and nobody bothered to tell us that where we pick up the TV (the .com service desk at the front of the store) closed while we had been on hold waiting for the box dimensions. The whole point of us calling was that we live far away and didn't want to drive down for nothing and we made that perfectly clear!!! Worst customer service. Worst experience. Waste of our time, waste of our gas, and everybody who worked there who we talked to could care less. I wish I could give them no stars! read more
