I can't wait until Walmart shuts down. Especially with these employees that hold the "Manager" title, truly unprofessional. I decided to order through Walmart.com to avoid any inconvenience and save time but guess what? Do your self a favor and simply do not give your money to Walmart. I walked into Walmart and asked the first employee I saw were could I pick up my online order, gentleman states customer service right by the entrance. Walked towards the customer service and there was lines full of carts with go backs, lights off and no employees behind the counter. Ok? It's closed. Next employee I see states it's all the way in the back towards the photo center, next to electronics. Here goes my pregnant a** all the way to the back and guess what? It's closed! Omg I could've been done shopping by the time I went in all these circles. I start to head out and I ask another employee, again. Where can I pick up my online order? Lol I know I know, I asked the same question but I wanted to make sure I had stopped at the right center. Gentleman states it's by electronics and I mention I came from there and no one was present, he mentions "There should be someone there to assist, but then I believe they close at 10pm". Wow, this is insane! It does not state that no where on the online website for this location! Here I go trying to exit the store with a bit of hope that someone will be kind enough to get my items. The last young lady I asked mentions a "CM" with a yellow jacket can help, I was a bit happy for 2 seconds. I approach two lady's with the yellow jackets that were chit-chatting away by the customer service center. I excused myself before I interrupted into there conversation & as soon as I ask about the online order pick up, one lady just walks away. The other lady, CINDY states they are closed and I have to return tomorrow. I asked politely if there was anything she could do , since I was guided her direction. Then I asked for a manager and her eyes immediately glistened as she responds to me" I AM THE MANAGER and THERES NOTHING I CAN DO. In a total different tone of voice. Rude! I mention to her that no where on the online page does it state the online pick-up closes at 10pm the hours and she smartly responds "They haven't even updated our store hours online, it says we are still open 24 hours so I don't know" RUDE, again! I have a very bad breathing condition and it's hard for me to breath even without a mask! I never said a word to her. Google has your service dept closed at 7:00pm. I called to double check when is the last time you take customers for oil change an employee tells me 6:30pm. I get there at 6:20pm you guys are closed. Total BS I was going to give this location one more shot at my business. I take my wife's car in for an oil change today around 12:30 the guy comes out at the service area advises me that they are closed for an hour!!? WTH? My wife and I walked in the vision department and being the only customer there we assume the lady who work there will acknowledge us (already I had a bad vibe) So I approached her and gave my wife prescription and she response " we can not process any order on Sunday and that I would have to come back Monday to do so, no problem I told her and she took my wife info and she stated that my wife doesn't have to be here just come back to place the order. As I was walking in she told someone over the radio to take a photo of two ladies that proceeded to leave without being "checked" while attending others. I went in for a vacuum cleaner & headed to self check out. I willingly showed her my receipt but upon doing so she was still speaking to the another employee about the ladies that walked out.. she had me wait until she was done speaking about it so I was going to walk out instead but as I did so she touched the vacuum cleaner fast to scan it along with the receipt.. So it was 109° and I needed 2 fans. I picked two 20" fans, both same brand and same size. The big boggle was one was in a box and the other was out of box (needless to say that section was just about wiped out). Today I bought my car in to get my tire patched up because there's was a slow leak. I arrived at 8:30 a.m there were about 5 cars ahead of me. I was told the wait time would be an hour and a half. So I browse around walmart and wait in the waiting area for 2 hours my car has not been moved so I ask my husband to pick me up 40 mins later I get a call and the employee tells me my tire CAN NOT BE REPAIRED. He mentioned something about a center wall and it wasn't repairable. When I get there to pick up my car it's still parked right in front of the tire door exactly where i left it. At this point I'm really doubting that they even looked at the tire at all. I pick up my car take it to the tire shop I originally got my tires from and they told me I didn't need a new tire that they could EASILY patch it up and I'll be good to go. And it is so unfortunate that it is the closest to my residence. For anyone who enjoys a higher income and standard of living than those who live in Stockton, let me fill you in how we plan our shopping trips. Rule # 1: Is it the first week of the month? If yes, postpone any plans for shopping at Wal-Mart or Winco unless you want to fight the Welfare shoppers. If you are starving, eat out. It's not worth the frustration. If you are out of toilet paper, take a shower after. You get the point. Rule #2: Is it a weekend? Postpone until M-Th. You'll never find a parking space and if you do, only 5 of the 30 checkstands will be open. Rule #3: Is it between the hours of 3pm and 12am? Postpone until early morning after all the crack-heads have finally passed out. They'll be out of stock of everything you need until morning anyway. Rule #4: Stage a drive-by. If parked cars surpass the third-quarter thoroughfare that runs parallel to the store, either postpone shopping or drive 8.6 miles north to the Lodi Wal-mart since you're already halfway there and the store quality is at least 2 stars better. They used to have self-checkout but I can only assume too many ghetto-ass people were trying to steal and or/staff couldn't properly manage the stands. Customer service is hit or miss. I've encountered some very helpful and friendly associates here. But there are some who make you wonder how they even survived an interview. Ghetto as you know what. Patrons leave frozen items in the checkout lanes to spoil. Last items of merchandise are always broken and tattered. Broods of rude, screaming children gambol aimlessly throughout the store. Just when you think you've found a faster moving line, someone pulls out a wic voucher. Better to seek another line than to wait. Better to avoid this store altogether. Lodi's is decent and so is the new Walmart off Trinity Pkwy. Even Manteca's is better. read more

When I go here at night, especially late at night, the experience reminds me of a certain Zombie movie called...."Dawn of the Dead" 1978 or 2004 version, it doesn't matter. I really do hate Walmart. They have the worst customer service EVER! I've been to this location multiple times hoping for the best but leaving wondering why I was giving them the benefit of doubt. The first time I experienced terrible customer service was when I was looking for a blu-ray that had just come out. Now, I figured they had sold out, but I didn't think it'd hurt to ask the clerk at the electronics counter if they had extras in the back. Not only did he not listen to my question and ignored me but he smelled terribly like pot. I know Walmart attracts employees with low IQs but come on management, don't let someone who smells like pot help customers. Secondly, they have like 30 check out stands and only a quarter or less are ever open! Walmart you are a multi-billion dollar company with revenues greater than the GDP of other countries; open up more damn check out windows! Either that or pay higher wages so that you can attract better quality employees who can handle transactions quicker. Lastly, good luck if you ever have to return something. I was then told there was a problem with the machine/door like it was jammed and wouldn't open. So I asked for my options & was suggested to just cancel it and check the electronics and ask for it there since there was more in stock. I went and the entire electronics section was cleared. Lets make this review simple. The pharmacy lies so often that they forget their lies. I drove to Stockton Walmart so many times just to pickup a non-existent prescription. Thank you for Stockton Walmart, being such asses. They screwed up with medication that I need. Each time I would have to drive back the next day to pickup a prescription that only requires only a label to be applied to the exterior. Go to Target instead. 5 minutes on the internet and my prescription is ready in a couple of hours. With Target I can order and pickup my medication the same day. With Walmart it has taken up to a week. I heard that Walmart doesn't even have a pharmacist there most of the time. I am not sure, but I would think they would rather violate some law, over helping customers. read more

This is the one Wal-Mart Super Center that took my Wal-Mart Super Center virginity. And boy was it painful. On a holiday-less weekend in Stockton, I stopped by chapstick for severe windburn. It was easily an almost hour-long ordeal! Of course I had no idea that it was almost the size of a third world country and that the place was ALWAYS busy -- I spent most my time looking for the correct aisle, maneuvering through a sea of Wal-Mart shoppers and standing in line with said shoppers. I knew this was the "super" version of Wal-Mart, but being from a land devoid of Wal-Mart Super Centers...I was unaware of how literal Wal-Mart would take "super." I was overwhelmed. (Still am.) That said, I wouldn't recommend a Wal-Mart Super Center if you only needed JUST ONE thing. Unless you needed it urgently at an ungodly hour of night (it's open 24/7). This Walmart is convenient because it's cheap, it's only 5 minutes away from me and it's open 24 hours. As a college student, it was useful for those nights when you needed to pick up some groceries or essentials but everywhere else was closed. The lines are usually long, depending on what part of the day you go. Usually morning to midday is a good time to go before everyone gets off work. ** Unless you have all the time in the world, don't check out around 12am. Well...this place really is a one-stop shop. It's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And it's cheap. After that...I can't think of much good I can say about it. This is the only Super Walmart I've ever been in, so I can't compare it to others, but this place is HUGE. Huge enough that they can fit a car dealership on the parking lot (I kid you not...they built a Nissan dealership on what used to be part of the parking lot) and still have tons of parking. Inside the left side of the store is for groceries and the right side has everything else. Whatever you're looking for...there's a good chance they carry it, because it really does seem like they have everything. So, you're at Walmart. You didn't come here for the ambiance or anything, did you? I don't think it's fair to judge this place against the likes of Target, but compared to other regular Walmarts I have been at, this place is 1) Super crowded 2) Horrible workers 3)Sketchy. Unless you come at 9 am or something, there WILL BE A LINE. A loooong line. I almost never go here because I know it will be me standing in line for at least half an hour. There are never enough registers open, which brings me to my second point. The cashiers. I've met a few that were nice, so I hate to lump them all together, but for the most part Walmart workers are horribly trained and don't care. I came here once at midnight and one of the cashiers absolutely refused to work because she was "due for a break". So she just stood there, one of only 3 registers open, with at least 8 customers waiting, and pouted. Finally...the shoppers here aren't the friendliest. More often times than not you'll meet panhandlers in the parking lot asking for bus fare. There is at least a 95% certainty that someone will ask you if you want to buy a tamale or a DVD. You go in, and people are loud, pushy, and rude. But you save money. Walmart is cheap. So if you don't mind the atmosphere, and what can potentially be a very long wait, this place will get you some good deals. My blood pressure personally can't take it though. read more

For starters the Walmart off Eight Mile is awesome and everytime I've gone I'm never waiting in line too long. So I go to this Walmart in the early mornings. Not too early or the cosmetic section isn't open. I usual get decent customer service if I'm looking for something. At times if they're stocking and what not they don't move out of my way and I push their carts :P I usually get in and out pretty fast at this hour. Although, I could do without the creeper hitting on me at the red box. No thank you. Walmarts in every city I've lived in are about the same. After searching for 20 minutes for puppy formula I started looking at a pallet to see if there were any boxes there, a shelf stocker came and asked me if I needed help and what I was looking for then not only did He show where it would be he noticed there was only one can left and it was open (all I needed was one can) he took the price tag with him and went in the back to look. And within 5 minutes had a can of puppy formula for me. Customer service is important to me but excellent customer service will keep me a continuous customer. I do not understand what has happened. This store has some good qualities. Mainly the groceries. But the women's clothing department is now unusable for me. They have switched from user friendly clothing for plus size to I do not even know what because it's so jumbled up. The galt Walmart was so much better. But I have a sad feeling these changes are for all stores. In Galt if I asked an associate where something was they always were friendly & took me to the item. When I moved back to Stockton a year ago this Walmart on hammer lane was being remodeled. Well, the remodeling is done & now instead of being able to go get a pair of smaller jeans I couldn't even find the ones I bought in galt not that long ago. And these "name" brands? Ugliest crap. The only uglier & more expensive plus size clothing is at Target. They used to have good styles. Of course that was when stuff was actually made in the USA. Now everything is made in freaking China. I do not want my money going to a communist regime that treats their citizens like the crap they produce. It's a battle for Don Quixote. But a girl can dream. This was about 10 feet from this locked cabinet. If this is how a corporation is going to compete with places like Amazon someone should tell the CEO's its not working for people like me. I think I'll try to go there later this week & see if it is still an excellent example of a well run, organized store that understands the customer's. I went to get an oil change at tire lube dept. I asked for sythetic oil change which advertised a price of 44.88. I go and shop and come to find out my total was 55.61. I asked why the price was so much higher. I was told by Lamuah something that they ran out of bay equipment filters for my car and so they used one from the store. I was never asked if I wanted to proceed with an extra charge. I also noticed that my paperwork had a scratch like signature on it claiming to be me when I never signed anything. It also stated that I declined a battery check and that never happened. Overall walmart commited fraud signature, price addition w/out consent and lied about me refusing a battery check.
