Today, I had the worst experience at this Walmart. As soon as I approached the self-checkout, two female employees immediately started talking about me and staring. When I asked if there was an issue, they both denied it. I proceeded to scan my items and was told I needed to take the item out of the cart and not use the scanning gun. While odd, I complied and mentioned that I'd be placing the item back in the cart after scanning. The main employee named Shasta, continued to stare me down as I scanned. She then insisted that I place the item in the bagging area after scanning, even though it was an article of underwear, which I didn't want to place on a dirty platform. She offered to get a bag and brought a brown paper bag, laying it flat on the platform. When I opened the bag to put the items inside, she told me I couldn't do that--that the bag was just there to place the items on. I was baffled. From the moment I walked up, both employees were focused on me, talking about me, and making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. They were so intent on catching me doing something wrong that it felt like I was being treated as a criminal. The entire experience felt racially charged and deeply unfair. When I asked her to confirm that I couldn't use the bag, she suddenly changed her tone and said I could, even raising her arm to give permission. This erratic behavior left me confused and upset. Walmart needs to do better. Employees like Shasta, who treat customers with such disdain and suspicion, will undoubtedly drive business away. Makes me wonder what kind of demeanor and service Walmart encourages their employees to have. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and no one should be made to feel this way while shopping. read more

I was floored by the way a manager, csm, or assistant manager spoke to an employee this morning. I was in the bakery looking through the cake design catalog. Suddenly a assistant manager (blonde woman with long wavy wet looking hair almost waist length), slams a box of chocolate donuts on the bakery counter and starts fussing at the bakery employee. She is telling her '.....this is what I was talking about' this is the box........!' The bakery employee says, 'I am sorry I didn't know about those.' The manager yells, 'well you need to get out more.", as she is walking away. It may not sound like much, but that worker was obviously shook up, she kept looking over her shoulder to make sure the manager wasn't coming back. I asked her was she okay because I could see she was caught off guard and nervous. I am not an empathetic person, but for this woman I was because she was verbally attack. A person in a higher level position is not given that position to talk to another human being like a child. The manager showed a lack of professionalism, self control, and the ability to be assertive without being aggressive. I should not have even been able to witness this condescending pretentious behavior from the assistant manager. Maybe she should get out to more training classes.No one should have to work in a position and be berated by a person in a position of authority, it's oppression. No one should work in fear, afraid to even constructively defend themselves. That manager will reap what she sows and I pray she will be humbled by her own experiences. read more

I normally buy my groceries here. Will gladly give a higher score for the times I've been here since today. Today was a great disappointment. The cart pusher guy scraped my car with the long load of carts he had. He wasn't paying attention to his clearance. After being hit I pulled up by supermarket entrance to ask for a manger. I was told Manager was busy unloading trucks and I'd have to wait. As I waited for quite a awhile some guy named Nick comes out of the store and tells me "move your fucking car" ! Wow? I asked who he was and he said he didn't work there but was wrapped around an Asian woman whom I assumed was his girlfriend that did work there. I went in to store to take pictures of incident then Nick comes up to knock my phone down. He says pictures are not allowed. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have just called the police on him. Instead I tried to calm down and called my partner and left. No one at the store was willing to help me. I will pursue with my insurance and file complaint with BBB. Just horrible!!! I always spend at least $300 on groceries there every month . Never again. Very disappointed. Nick who doesn't work there was certainly taking over the store without any Walmart associates stopping him to keep away from the situation. They seemed to let him handle the issue between me and Walmart accident. They all refused to give names. No last names ect. read more

WALMART 1965 S UNION AVE TAC, WA. WORST WALMART ever! The workers there have the worst attitude especially 2 cashiers I encountered earlier today who acted as if I were wasting they're time when I asked them for help! SHELBY (some short dark haired cashier) nasty attitude, like she absolutely hated life! JESSICA (some fat Caucasian cashier) nastier attitude, who wouldn't smile for shit even when I called her out on her poor customer service. So when I asked to speak to a manager, the big cashier took off looking for her and when they came back, I could see her running her mouth to the manager. So when they finally reach the register. The manager already had her mind made up and pretty much took they're side w/out even asking for our side of the story. Whatever happened to "the CUSTOMER is ALWAYS RIGHT"! --its just keeps getting worst...we left there and not even one of them apologized or seem sincerely concern about our complaint and how we were treated by these 2 cashiers. WALMART, a million possibly billion dollar company---all that money & you still have the crappiest customer service known to man...how about you invest some of that money on training some of your staff on Customer service. Why do you hire some the angriest people in America? Maybe your management who hires these ignorant people need training as well. read more

This was the worst Walmart I have ever been too. Customer service was terrible. I was going through the line and had $86 worth of item and I had a debit card. My chip on my debit card doesn't work but if you try 3 times then slide the card it works. I told the lady at the cash register that and some how didn't understand that and so she had her manager come over to help her. Her manager was completely rude I told her the same thing try 3 times and then slide it will work. She refuse to try more then once and told me I had to get a new debit card because the chip doesn't work and if that doesn't work then your card is useless here. I didn't want to deal with her nonsense so I left right told her "this is why you work at Walmart because you can't do simple things" I went to Safeway a couple mins later and was able to buy my food. I haven't been to another Walmart since then. Good job Walmart way to have terrible costumer service. read more

The person in the back named Stephanie is the RUDEST person I have EVER come across in my entire career. I highly recommend you stay away rom this store unless you'd like to be verbally assaulted by management and Stephanie who believes she is management of some sort. She needs to be fired. She almost made my coworker cry who is brand new to this company. If I could give less a 1 then I would. Now, on the other hand Tina the cashier is the sweetest person in this place. They support people outside being fraudulent even the police will not do anything about them, saying things are for sale for a military or for a church... There is no problem with being fraudulent in front of these stores yet they will put police inside on both doors and they will not do a thing about it... This is a federal offense every cop state trooper sheriff will not do a thing about it, and neither will the managers of these places. I find it hilarious Walmart continues to put a random, untrained, body on the exit door. There, I guess, only to make rude comments to people who are trying to leave, or maybe to remind you Walmart is bottom-rung retail. Great being treated like a thief and harassed when shopping at a glorified dollar store. They always put the minimum possible number of cashiers on duty, so as to create the most obnoxious bottleneck lines possible. Anything to waste the customer's time. The self-checkout will usually not be open for a long period in the morning, and there will be an immense line at the single cashier covering the whole supercenter. No one cares and management is unreachable. read more

This is the ghettoest Walmart I have ever been to. They list online that they have items in stock, which are mysteriously missing when you arrive in person to purchase them. My wife and I were almost assaulted by a crazy black lady who wouldn't stop following us around the store, and the employees or security refused to do anything about it. Hate this store. read more

I know it's a Walmart so the standards aren't all too high already, but I've never had an employee be so rude to me for literally no reason. We needed to make a money gram.
