What makes this place suck is the customer service. They follow you around, and when they finally offer you help the offer is so insincere that you would feel bad if you asked a question. This place has a one person at a time dressing room policy. Which is fine...if it was posted. My friend had tried on a dress and showed me. It looked nice I just went in there to try it on. As soon as I get it on one of the workers starts knocking like the police. She screams only "one person at a time!" She could have said: "excuse me but our policy is only one person at a time." They had a $1 pile, meaning items they were willing to pay me one dollar for. And then they had a 10‑cent pile, meaning they were willing to pay me ten cents for certain items. Yes, ten cents. For 10/12 pieces, they offered me around $6.30. It was laughable. Actually laughable. So if you're looking to sell your items for dirt cheap, this is the place. On a lighter note, they did have a lot of nice things for sale; secondhand, some new, some designer, really great quality pieces at good prices. I got a really nice pair of green cargo pants for $12. I recommend for shopping NOT selling.

Disappointing Experience: Messy Store, Rude Employees at Walmart Torrance Rating: My recent visit to Walmart in Torrance left much to be desired, and I regret to say that I won't be returning anytime soon. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the store was in disarray. The aisles were cluttered, merchandise was strewn about haphazardly, and it felt like navigating through a maze just to find what I needed. To make matters worse, the constant movement of large carts by employees made it nearly impossible to navigate the aisles without being constantly pushed to the side. It was incredibly frustrating and only added to the chaos of the shopping experience. But perhaps the most disappointing aspect of my visit was the interaction I had with one of the employees. I approached a staff member and politely asked if she could open the movie section so I could see what steelbooks they had in stock. Some of the titles didn't have labels visible from the top, making it difficult to determine what was available. Instead of offering assistance or even a simple explanation, the employee responded rudely, saying, "You can't read them from there." I was baffled by her dismissive attitude and lack of willingness to assist a customer who had made the effort to ask for help. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the overall customer service standards at Walmart Torrance. It's disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from the employees. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and kindness, and unfortunately, that was sorely lacking during my visit. In conclusion, my experience at Walmart Torrance was nothing short of disappointing. The messy store layout, constant disruption from employees, and rude customer service have left a lasting negative impression. Absolutely the worst customer service. I NEVER shop at Walmart for this reason, but my husband does and he needed me to return a couple items that he purchased. I first went to the store on Hawthorne in Torrance, and they were very pleasant and helpful. However, one of the items we couldn't find the receipt for and the rep in Torrance told me it needed to be returned to a superstore, because they didn't carry it there. Fair enough. He then gave me simple instructions and said that they would give me store credit. I then headed to this superstore in Gardena. I waited at least 35 min in line with only three ppl ahead of me. When I finally got to the front, with at least 15 ppl behind me now, the rep rudely tells me she's not helping anyone else. Fine. I wait for the next rep, I explain the situation and it seems as though they are looking for any reason not to process the transaction. The rep that initially denied helping me, is standing to the side with two other reps gossiping loudly (none of which are helping any customers in line) but takes time out to tell the rep helping me that she shouldn't process the transaction because I don't have my receipt. What about store credit? I ask. She says no. I tell them about the rep from the Torrance store. They get irritated but are scrambling for an answer and say the amount is over what they can process without a receipt. Can I exchange it then? The item is defective. Nope. Can you give me credit for what your limit is then? Is there anything you can do? You guessed it, NO. I will NEVER go to this store again, I don't care if they are giving stuff away. And it is not even because they didn't process the return. It is the way they carried themselves and represented the store. And it wasn't just one employee, there were at least three that I encountered with such an attitude. Ridiculous. read more

ohh this store -_- well my husband works at LAX and we live about 2hrs away .. we needed to cash in his check so we gave ourselves 3hrs and i went with him cuz i had to then go pay bills for he didnt have time do that cuaz he had work. we went in to the walmart (we only cash our checks at walmart ) but usually in the inland empire. anyways.. spent 10mins in line (no biggie) and when we got up front some asshole of a guy named enrique first off didnt even greet us . 2nd told us that he couldnt cash our check. said that it wouldnt go thru ! LIAR! he didnt even try to run it.. he walked to the side talked to his co-worker they looked us up and down and then came back and said he couldnt cash it. i told him.. my husband has to work if he could just try again. he said No becuase if he kept trying it would leave a mark on the check and that would not able us to cash it at all after that . this is apparently a lie that he told cuz his co-workers said that has never happened and is no such thing. yes my husnad and i are 20/23 but believe it or not there are some young folks who make a living and support thier failies ! i felt like it was total discrimination. so we left and had to search for a cash place. when we found one they charged us 13 when at walmart we couldve just payed $3 and we still had to go back to walmart to make a moneygram transfer to pay our bill before it got to late . he saw us in the back of the line.. lookd shockd we even came again .. didnt ask us if we needed to be helped since we had already been there and waited and were rejected. just started and left . best believe i called and complained. manager just complained and said theyd investigate. asshole should get fired for lieing and my husband was 1hr late ! hate the ghetto-ness that guy projected towards us ! read more

I ordered (2) iMac All-in-one computers to be supplied by Wombat Reserve. These were to be refurbished iMac computers with I5 processors and appropriate accessories. On Cyber Monday they were priced at $349 each. I received an order confirmation from the website. I received the two packages on 12/5 as promised. One was acceptable and the other did not have keyboard, mouse, or power cord. I noticed the devices seemed smaller than I expected and eventually measured the screens as 23". I had been sent the incorrect product and one was incomplete. Upon calling up my email, I located a link indicating to click on the name "Wombat Reserve" for assistance. That link took me to an unrelated Walmart web page selling toys - nothing to do at all with anything that involved me, the product, the order, or Wombat Reserve. I tried to find the Wombat Reserve phone number, unsuccessfully. By the way it's 844-637-1400. I got that from the Walmart support line (which is 800-925-6278), where I spent 50 minutes trying to resolve these issues. Walmart did attempt to contact Wombat Reserve, but unfortunately they do not work on Fridays. The Walmart reps I talked to in the Philippines seemed marginally interested that one of their sellers' quality was substantially insufficient. If I were you reading this post, I would not buy anything from this source until you see a post from me that they have provided a satisfactory resolution to the problems I have outlined. At this point, W.R. will have to earn 5 stars from me to receive 3 stars in my next post. I have my fingers crossed. In the meantime I am providing one star because their packing material was cool. If i could give this place negative stars, I would in a half second. Walmarts in general are usually vile places filled with another level of "human beings", but this one beats the rest. In the " Holy shit, I'm surprised that this place exists, it's so f*+!&g horrible" kind of way. Bring a bat and some mace to get down in the parking lot, because that will likely happen. Next enjoy some shouting and swearing by all the employees as soon as you enter the "store". And don't get me wrong, I cuss like ten sailors. Never in a million years would when I'm working would I ever be screaaminngg fu@k, sh!t , goddamn this and that.. This store needs to be shut down or everyone needs to be fired because literally everyone working there looks like a complete asshole who hates their life. Quit if you don't like your job. Haha And we go to return something and the chick just maddogs us until we walk up to her, and sits there grumbling to her coworker about her garbage life. I can't go here without both my girlfriend and I ending up needing a cool Beach breeze and a doobie. This Walmart is a disgrace. I had 30 minutes for lunch and I needed to get some aspirin. Everything in this store is locked up. Nobody has keys hardly to unlock it. You have to push the little red button in your aisle for somebody to come unlock it.I had to push the button about 6 times.and it took 20 minutes for somebody to come unlock a case for a bottle of aspirin that cost a $1.90. the manager was being the wicked witch. she brought somebody with the key and they went and helped other people first when I had been there before them. But then the manager of the customer service associate was black. And I'm white so I guess if you're not black you're not going to get the same service in this Walmart. so I just spent about 25 minutes of my 30 minute lunch waiting for a case to be open for a jar of aspirin. I think Walmart should check all the reviews for the store since it's one star. Never step foot in this Walmart again. how is anybody supposed to shop when everything is locked up. I live in an area that is way way way more ghetto then more this Walmart is. and they don't have everything locked up with a bunch of employees that have no keys to get you into the locked up cases. why doesn't the pharmacy have keys for the cases that are in the pharmacy where the over-the-counter medication is ? racist Walmart store racist Walmart ghetto manager with all her tattoos all over her neck and all over arms. read more

I personally hate Walmart but i've been there once or twice. This place is absolutely disgusting! The first time I went there I almost tripped over a spilled bag of Cheeto puffs. Everything in the store is disheveled. The employees are a nightmare. My sister wanted to buy a computer but the worker from the electronic department didn't know anything about computers so he called the departments manager. I wasn't surprised when he also didn't know a darn thing about computers. He just stared at me when I asked him questions. He ended up telling us to go on Walmart.com instead because we could find more information. Great customer service! *sarcasm* Don't even think about trying to return something here because it's frickin hell! The line usually goes all the way passed McDonald's. The workers take their sweet ass time chit chatting with one another. Come on, how hard is it to work a damn register? Honestly, on one hand I feel bad for the employees and on the other, I don't. This totally ghetto trailer trash white girl and her white older ghetto boyfriend or husband was stealing stuff from peoples shopping carts!!! I went to this location and a dumb big lady with uneven weave bumps into me and gives me a dirty look like it was my fault bc I'm standing there shopping and she can't fit thru the aisle. My advice to her is stop going to the buffet and maybe one day she will walk down those aisles and not bump into people or products lol. Poor customer service from the team lead at the front end at Cash register line # 14 !! I was in the check out line #12 today 4-14-24 at approximately 8:50 Am and I witnessed the head cashier who was at cash register # 14 yelling at customers and verbally abusing them who were in her line and yelled at them to go to customer service and when they asked her why she got a bad attitude with them, as she was taking longer time then other nearby cashiers she appeared to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol I am a Security Manager and I know the warning signs of intoxication and or the use of drugs . Worst dirty ghetto store I have ever walked into it needs to be shut down . I will no longer shop at walmarts . They have the worst customer service in history. Wow... this place was definitely interesting. When I showed up, I see two people driving around in the handicap scooters doing doughnuts (who were obviously not handicapped). Right there I should have made a U turn. But due to my penny pinching ways, I decided to check it out and get my shopping done. Before moving to California, I used to go to Wal Mart all the time and it was nothing like this. It usually is well stocked and the aisles are neatly arranged. Quite the complete opposite here. This Walmart is on 190th street, just south of the 405 freeway. It's sort of low key and you may miss it if you blink. No large overwhelming Walmart signage. There's a Carl's Jr. at the turn entrance. Parking lot size is ample but was almost full. It was Friday afternoon, just after the 15th of the month. Store is clean and well stocked. Lots of men's clothing I haven't seen in other stores. Workers are friendly. There's several eateries nearby to get your grubb on after you shop. Freeway close, right across from the 405. For one the store as a whole is a NIGHTMARE !!!!!! Any Walmart locations are. But for seconds your policies your lack of human workers who have some competence. Your returning areas don't open at the same time as your stores I'm so upset! The people here have no want to even be here! I rather spend a little more to go to a target I'm so upset I will never shop Walmart again. Horrible store! All locations I've been too are racially profiled can't even buy socks without it being locked up! You stuck Walmart I wish I could give you a NEGATIVE 5 -5!!!!!!!!!' This black old lady said that costumer service closes at 9pm when I tried to return an item and 1 month later when I entered the store at 10:30pm the same lady was attending another person same ethnicity of her own and to me that seems like she wasn't intending to help me out or she was being racist. It really pisses me off I didn't make a comment or said anything to the supervisor that was standing there but will say it here. Be careful in this Walmart because most employees in there are lazy , rude, racist, and act like they are working there for free. read more

I just ordered spa sensation memory foam from Walmart for King bed. I was a quick shipping. I just got in within 2-3 days with free shipping. I paid $428 for king matress only. The reason that I chose this product and from this store because free shipping, you can return back if you don't like it within 90 day and they will give your money back. My back pain is gone and I don't wake up during a night anymore. I don't have to wake up and go to the guest room and I can sleep with my husband all night. Shopping in Torrance, California…read more.. We had some time before dinner, so we took a look around Marshalls. I visited the usual departments: shoes, accessories, personal care, and seasonal items. I didn't find any Easter clearance items, but I didn't see LA Dodgers caps... hmmm... tempting, but I didn't get any. The Hello Kitty items were calling, but I escaped quickly! I also like to look at the red tag items... they have marked down prices. There was nothing I really needed... thank goodness! We'll probably be back!

Located on Hawthorne Boulevard, in North Redondo, just West of the Galleria, it's never a problem to find. Plus, as it's attached to a large shopping complex, they have a very large parking lot, so parking should never be a problem. Once inside this TJ Maxx location, you'll find what all TJ Maxx stores have to offer; i.e.: tons of clothing, shoes, jewerly, a little bit of furnishings, and all the kind of stuff you would expect. The aisles here are all well organized, so finding things should never be a problem. And, the store is well maintained. It shows its age a little bit. But, it's still a great place to get whatever TJ Maxx has to offer. So, if you're in the South Bay, and you want to grab what a TJ Maxx store has to offer, this is an easy place to do it.
