Second time trying this restaurant and I have to say the service was just as bad as the first time. $49.99 per person and you are lucky if you can get them to bring you $15 worth of food. 1 small cheese corn, 1 small dish of cucumber and 1 small dish of kimchi for 4 adults is ridiculous. My favorite IE bbq location! My partner and I went this last weekend but we've been going to this place with family and friends for years now. The service is great. The staff are attentive, and quick when items are needed at the table. This time we got help from a robot! Pretty cool how it knows the location of your table and it brings all the items. I was surprised and totally forgot to take a picture. We requested an indoor table. I feel like the flame works better and you get to stay warm while you eat. We get brisket, bulgogi, Cali steak and spicy pork. For the sides, we got all of them including double rice paper, Mac salad, and noodles. Went here with the fam since my elder daughter goes to UCR. Selection of the meats are good for the price. They got unique selection such as Korea. lunchbox which is basically a kimchi fried rice but when you receive it, it is literally in a stainless lunch box which is cute. You can order 4 meats at a time and they give ample amount for each serving. Our server and bussers and are very attentive and would ask us if we wanted to order more meat. They always change the grill for us to avoid burnt taste of the meat. It is family friendly as well, I like that it is not too tight and crowded plus the music is not too loud. It is our first time and will definitely include on our list as a to go AYCE K-bbq place. P.S. Cannot drink alcohol but they have a great selection of soju based drinks! read more

**ONE OF MY FAVORITE KBBQ PLACES** Servers Rob & Patrick were very attentive ! I spend most of my time in San Diego which has a ton of different kbbqs. The good ones ranging from $28-$40/person. The difference usually is in the items that are offered per menu set. The prince set at Wang Cho has more options AND sides at no extra cost such as steamed egg, noodle soup, and corn cheese. 1 con: the corn cheese is super tiny and you have to put it on the grill I also love how the restaurant isn't wasteful. I'm a little picky when it comes to the sides I eat with the meat and it's always a shame when I'm don't touch most of what they put on the table but here they asked which sides I wanted !! This location is great because there aren't a lot of kbbq options in riverside and it's in a great shopping center with lots of parking and things to do if there's a long wait ! *reservations are available through their website - recommend at least a day in advance* read more

Came to celebrate a family members birthday. Location is big and generally a good place for larger parties. Food is pretty good, we ordered the King menu for 35.99 per person. What went wrong was the customer service. Servers were already stalling between our orders, it was probably because we were only ordering large quantities of the most expensive meats on the menu. We had been left alone for over ten minutes waiting for a server when a new server took over our area. Yolanda (new server) took everyone's order in our area and told us she'll get back to us. Understandable. She came back to our area two times and then started making her way to us. I raised my hand, worried she would forget about us but when she came over she was visibly upset saying, "I was already coming your way". We let her know we had been left alone for around ten minutes and her response was "It's just ten minutes. There's still food on your grill." My party was honestly shocked. Not only was her reply curt, but she was scoffing. Not to mention, this was our first interaction with her. It's usually a given that in AYCE restaurants you don't break the flow of your eating. And there were multiple tables around us with trays extending past their table with multiple plates of uncooked meat. We let her know her response was pretty rude but she started raising her voice and telling us we were being rude by trying to call her over and that she already knew to come back to us to get her order. My party was dumbfounded because we have never experienced a situation like this. Then she ended with "So do you want to order or not." Wow, that has been the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Not sure if she was having a bad day but that was totally not acceptable to speak that way to a customer. She ruined our appetite to the point we didn't want to eat anymore and eventually spoke with the manager about our experience. Other servers were pretty friendly, specifically Eric and Brandon. All three stars goes only to our busboy Fernando! He was the star. Management needs to learn from him. He was super fast and very friendly. First, we arrived at the restaurant at 9:10pm. The website and yelp page says they close at 10pm. So we get in and ask for a table for 3. The hostess says that they are closed, and that last call for order is 9:30pm. We told her that it's only 9:10 and that we would be very quick about ordering. She called her manager in order for the manager to tell us that they were closed. So we politely asked if we can just please be seated and that we would be very quick about ordering and eating. The manager reluctantly decided to let us be served. We thanked her, but at that point we were given the eye rolls and cold shoulder from both the hostess and manager. Once we were seated, we ordered everything we wanted in one round. The food came out very fast. We cooked and scarfed everything down, paid our bill and was walking out by 9:58pm. There were still other guests cooking and eating even though we were the last to be seated and served. When we left, I said thank you to the hostess. She just continued to walk by me, not acknowledging my "Thank you." She just completely ignored us, not even a smile. I suggest that to keep this from happening with other customers, just change the hours on the website from closing at 10pm to closing at 9pm. It makes no sense to say you close at 10pm and turn customers away at 9pm. read more

An impromptu date night led us to this place. For a Monday night it was busy but we were still sat quick and the food was flowing almost as fast. The food is served all you can eat. The meat choices are plentiful and all of the seasonings are on point. The sides were all tasty, my favorites were the little pickled cucumbers, tofu sesame noodles and kimchi. The macaroni salad was probably I've had a Korean bbq but still not my jam. The service was very attentive, kept the drinks full and the meat coming. I love coming to Wang Cho here in Riverside! It has become my favorite KBBQ location in the Inland Empire. If you can get seating inside, do it! You won't regret it. They have really large grills on the inside. If you eat outside, you will be getting a smaller portable grill. I've done both, and I prefer the larger grill inside. There are different tiers of AYCE KBBQ. I am pretty simple and as long as I get my fill of the basic meats, I am good. There are also plenty of options for Banchan (side dishes) as well. I love to get the spicy pickled cucumbers, japchae, and spicy rice cakes here. I loooooveee the spicy rice cakes!! The sauce they use is super sweet and spicy! I also love that Wang Cho is part of a huge outdoor shopping mall location. You can either come here first and work off your calories afterwards by walking around the mall or go shopping first to work up an appetite. Either way, it's a win win. There is also plenty of parking because there is plenty of parking for the outdoor shopping mall. The location is also not too far from the 91fwy, so it is convenient if you are coming from afar. read more

Went on a late Friday night and was seated immediately. Really nice ambiance and modern interior. Ordered the King menu because we wanted to try the shrimp. Good amount of variety for the banchan, but wished they had more staples like lettuce wrap, rice paper wrap, potato salad, etc. Good and quick service. Soju came out cold and served with shot glasses. Favorite dishes included beef brisket, wangcho steak, garlic butter shrimp, and garlic pork belly. Tables were cleared quite frequently and our grill was changed twice, but the server forgot to bring out more sides when requested. Overall, pretty good meal but a bit pricey for the options.
