For a Chinese place I expected to get regular sized french fries and not skinny small one. It's giving cheap. I wouldn't recommend buying French fries.

From all the hullaballoo (or however you spell it) you would think that Wang Wang Super Taco is something extraordinary. After all, Wang Wang Super Taco was awarded two honors during the 9th Annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in North America and Australia Awards ceremony "Top 100 Overall Excellence" and "Top 100 Healthy Menus". I have no idea what these things mean. When I was in high school, I was selected to receive the Top High School Graduates In the US Award and recently, I was invited to be in the Top Most Ethical Businessmen Awards. I don't know what these mean either but since membership and recognition in them requires paying a fee, I sincerely doubt their credibility. Wang Wang Super Taco is a Chinese food take out restaurant in the typical sense of the word that also serves Mexican food and has a really cool name. Nothing great or exceptional. Just decent food, a staff that barely understands English and a delivery guy who likes to steal bottles of water and snacks off of my receptionist's desk. If you are looking for Chinese or Mexican takeout food and are local, give them a try. Again, good but nothing exceptional which is pretty much what one would expect. Cool name, though.

Wang Wang, a name change may be in order! FYI

Not.A.Fan... Can't believe this place is still in business. Where do I start? Let's just go with the fact that they use chicken thigh meat for everything ;) eating my dinner was my fault, I should have known... The Wang Wang gave me such food poisoning that I am still getting flash backs. I called to tell them, and they thought I was making another order and hung up on me. Wu Tang Wang Wang Wang... Never, ever again. I am all for Asian fusion, but this concept has gots to go. Peace 'n love...

My faves are the al carbon and guacamole soft tortilla, shrimp and jack cheese quesadilla, and the steak & jalapeño combo with shrimp added to it!

Fortunately not closed for the two months that they were initially quoted! Food is great, menu is slimmed down a bit, and service is just as friendly as before. Appreciate it - and fortunately with the sensitivity of my fellow diners, their food was solid and hasn't caused any trouble (it is oily and salty, but their rice is good!). Gift cards - you can get an extra $30 for $300 on the card, and other increments more (as you go up). It's conveniently located in the large plaza alongside Home Depot and 99 Ranch. I've stopped by a few times for lunch, and their midday specials are incredible. For just $11.99, you get a main dish, rice, and soup. The portions are very generous--I always leave completely stuffed! My absolute favorite is the Basa Fillet with chili oil; it's packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The lunch menu is vast, so there are always plenty of different options to choose from, ensuring you'll never get bored even if you visit frequently. Beyond the food, the overall experience is consistently great. The dining room is clean and comfortable, and the service is exceptionally fast and friendly. They also offer discount days for teachers, seniors, and first responders, which is a wonderful touch for the community.

I don't like that they put lettuce in it. Didn't taste like cabbage to me. I ask for it without that usually. Decent though. One time I called and they were out of lo mein noodles! How does that even happen?! Egg Foo Young: this is actually pretty good from here. Greasy though. Pizza Egg Roll: I'm a fan of these from Kennedy Fried Chicken, but not a huge fan from here. Greasy and dare I say too much cheese? I'm a huge fan of cheese, but it was almost too much and not enough marinara inside the balance wasn't there. This is the only Chinese place in the area that has these. They also have Philly cheese steak rolls which I haven't tried yet (had them at a place in Teaneck though and they were so good!) Chicken wings: well seasoned, but WAY too greasy. Fries: again too greasy. Overall this place is "ok" but definitely not my favorite in Hackensack. Too greasy, but it is cheap.

I don't know if they had new people in the kitchen or what. First off, the white rice was soo greasy! My experience with Chinese takeout is that it's almost always boiled and never greasy unless it's fried rice. This was glossy as all heck. Then the chicken was the biggest let down. It was supposed to be sesame chicken but it wasn't at all sweet. Not only wasn't it sweet, it was downright BAD. It was bitter and tangy in the worst way. The flavor made it difficult to eat. It also seemed like the chicken had more filler than actual meat. I don't know how the quality went so far down in a short time. Never again. Unfortunately, we will not take a chance ordering again. This is our last time. Update: Within a couple of hours ny husband got violently ill with food poisoning. It didn't just taste bad, it actually was bad and contaminated. Horrible!

Instead, I found a clean, efficient dim sum spot with surprisingly good food. The self-service concept worked really well. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, and there is no tipping. I actually like this system because at traditional dim sum restaurants you often spend more time waiting for carts or servers than eating. One thing that really impressed me was the cleanliness. The restaurant isn't newly renovated, but it's well maintained. After each table left, the staff cleaned with fresh sanitizing wipes instead of using the same cloth over and over. They also serve everything with disposable plates and utensils, which personally gives me more confidence than reusable tableware that isn't always cleaned thoroughly. The food was consistently good. The lotus leaf sticky rice was fragrant, the rice noodle roll with fried dough had a great texture, and the Teochew dumplings were generously filled. The standout dish was the stuffed trio. The shrimp paste was fresh and springy, the fried tofu was crispy, and getting eggplant, tofu, and green pepper on one plate made it easy to try a little of everything.

Waiters were quick to seat us and offer hot tea. We arrived at noon for dim sum on a Friday and they had the push carts circling the dining room. But it was very slow to arrive at our table that we had no choice but to order food off the menu even though we requested the dim sum cart after receiving the tea. Food was hot and tasted good. Kids wanted rice rolls which were not on the cart so we had to order from the kitchen which mean it came out after a bit more waiting. If you're looking to satisfy your dim sum craving this place is great. They also have large tables for big groups. And they take reservations.
