Came here a few days ago with a girl friend. She had a good recommendation about this spot from her sister. I believe Wara Cafe is shared with a Korean bbq business because a lot of the tables inside have hood vents at the top and the grills on the tables. There was a bit of a wait, but you are able to check in as long as you are a mile away from the establishment online onYelp. Service was friendly. Inside was clean and well air conditioned, thankfully. There are some tables outside as well. The food itself is nothing special. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. The bread was not toasted so bread was lukewarm and soft. My plate came with smashed potatoes which were not smashed at all. They were just roasted fingerling potatoes. The sandwich was very greasy, but I did ask for Canadian bacon so that's probably why. Definitely a cute spot, their coffee selections sounds good, but I don't think I would come back. read more

This is a hidden gem . They do hotpot in the evening but for breakfast... bomb ! They have healthy options and everything is so fresh . They have mimosas too! My favorite was the ube latte . The service is great ! And it's best to do the check in on yelp to avoid long waits . read more

The wagyu burger was nearly perfection. Best burger I've had in my life. The egg. The meat. The pickled onions all went well together and there was a lot of flavour on every bite. I ordered the burger medium rare. The croffle is amazing. I am not familiar with croffles but it was awesome. Nice and flaky but not too airy. Flavourful. Beginning with the hostesses/waitresses, they were amazing, kind, and very welcoming. The restaurant itself was very nice, with seating inside and out. Peaceful music playing and the look of the restaurant was very calming. The food was top notch. I'm happy I randomly picked this place after looking here on yelp because it was some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. I had the chicken and croffles, which were absolutely stellar. It came with a chili syrup I was apprehensive about but boy was is GOOD. I tried the breakfast sandwich, which was super flavorful as well as the Churro French Toast which was sooo tasty, and I'm not a fan of sweets. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch. I'll go back someday for dinner. read more

best brunch spot we've ever tried!! i got the fried chicken eggs benedict with croffle and it was so delicious. the chicken was so crispy and tender and the poached egg was perfect. we were so shocked when we took a first bite. wagyu burger was cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of flavor and the red onion was a nice touch too. the drinks werent anything spectacular but still super pretty. definitely coming back again and want to try their shabu one day! read more

Me and my friends eat this place before we think is pretty good. So today after we drop off the kids to school we want to have brunch. We arrive at 7:58 at wait till 8:05. The lady who work in front just ignore us and after she unlock the door she just turn back walk right to kitchen. So we decided maybe it don't welcome us. We ended up ordering two "quick and easy" ice drinks. We asked if she was working alone... this lady only had rude comments and answers to say (smart ass). It is unfortunate to be treated that way specially when it was my first time there. It is also very unfortunate that the Spanish Latte I ordered was delicious, BUT I will never be returning or recommending this place due to the horrible customer service. I have family in the coffee business and customer service is always a priority, not at this location. Very disappointed with whoever hired her and trained her.

I know some people are sticklers about eggs, but I honestly couldn't see much of a difference between the blue eggs I got from Maust Farms and the brown eggs from here. My biggest issue with this place was the amount of fecal matter on the eggs. That wasn't exactly appetizing, especially compared with the eggs across the street, which were much cleaner. I know farm-fresh eggs aren't always going to look perfectly clean, but for what I paid, I expected them to be cleaner. I originally thought you weren't really supposed to wash farm-fresh eggs with water, but when there's visible fecal matter on the shells, obviously you want to clean them before using them. I later learned that you can buy an enzymatic egg wash specifically made for cleaning fresh eggs and that the water should be warmer rather than cold when washing. Using cold water can cause the contents of the egg to contract and potentially draw contaminants through the porous shell. So if you're coming to this location, I would recommend knowing how to properly clean and store farm-fresh eggs, especially if yours are as dirty as some of mine were. The people here were very nice, and the drive-through is definitely convenient. However, between the higher price and how dirty the eggs were, I'll most likely go across the street next time.

We sat outside and ate on the back patio, which was perfect to enjoy the sunshine. There were tons of beautiful plants and butterflies all around while we were enjoying our food. They also make sure to include fans at each table, so that flies won't get to your food. Our breakfast itself was amazing. No notes I will absolutely be back and I'm mad that I haven't gone back sooner to be honest.

This is my very first review and I never do reviews btw so it says a lot about me leaving one! First of all, came in with my partner and was attended by the upmost friendliest and attentive staff. We got seated quickly and the food and drinks came out fast as well! Let me start off with the food. We got a croffle, which is rare to get around any other brunch place around. It makes me never want to eat a regular waffle ever again! It'll make me want to come back for more just for this sweet dish. My partner got a breakfast burrito and they loved it just as much, they just wished there was a side of sauce so it would make it tastier! And the staff even acknowledged that feedback which made us, customers, know they care about improving their dishes. Now for the drinks, I got a hot matcha latte with oat milk and let me tell you.... Best matcha I've had in a while around this area. It tastes like authentic matcha, it was hot enough to drink, and sweet enough, not too sweet just right. Shabu Wara is my go to shabu place and I was really excited to hear that they were offering breakfast/brunch. They offered outdoor patio seating in addition to indoor seating, which created such a nice ambiance to enjoy my meal. The service and food is always top notch here and I ordered the signature wagyu burger and croffle. The wagyu burger was so juicy and you can really taste the quality of Australian wagyu along with the freshness of the ingredients. It was also my first time trying a croffle but it was so delicious and not overly sweet so I could taste the freshness of the berries and cream. Don't underestimate the food that comes out of a shabu place because the quality was impressive. Overall, 10/10 and it's definitely my new go to brunch place as well. read more

the food was pretty good. The Breakfast sandwich had plenty of flavor, the sides were pretty bland it came with like potatoes and a salad. I just recently went to japan and the Neo Hojicha i tried tasted like a drink i loved in japan it was very good. My girl got the croffle and she really liked it but it got soggy fast and she doesn't use syrup like that. She got a latte carmel for drink and it tasted like a normal latte ambiance was nice it was just chill and nothing crazy i would go back but not all the time bcuz for the price to not eat the sides, not worth in my opinion. if the sides were fire the prices are fine. overall good expierence just a few nick knacks i personally didn't like but this is my opinion anyways. read more

After attending church, my wife and I were in search of a new dining spot and stumbled upon Wara Cafe. Despite the initial long wait, we decided to stick around and were offered bar seating after about 30 minutes. My wife opted for the wagyu burger paired with an Ube Latte, which was simply delightful. The latte had subtle notes of almond and oats, while the wagyu burger, crowned with a sunny side egg, was bursting with flavor. We discovered a fascinating concept at this restaurant - they serve breakfast in the morning and shabu shabu at night. It was our first time visiting, and despite being a bit challenging to locate due to being listed under its evening name, a quick phone call sorted it out. Stopped by with my boyfriend before heading to the LA County Fair and Wara Cafe did not disappoint! First off, the iced matcha with strawberry puree? So deliciously made and a refreshing matcha fix! The breakfast burrito had a delicious scramble of egg, cheese, bacon, and avocado! The bacon was on the sweeter side but it was still tasty! The potatoes were yummy and the salad was a fresh balance. My boyfriend ordered the classic breakfast and added sausages, which he really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the vibe was a cozy, casual diner feel.
