They put their own spin on raw oysters with an Asian-style sauce that was absolutely delicious. A bit pricey for a dozen, but honestly worth it. I wanted to give a big compliment to the sushi chef and our waitress for their amazing service. We came in for happy hour and it is such a great deal. We ordered the fried calamari for $10, the California roll for $6, and the shrimp crunch roll for $10. It was such a steal for quality sushi. Everything was delicious and the service truly stood out. This is one of my go-to options for sushi in the area. It's very spacious with lots of parking out front. The restaurant itself is large and has a lot of seating. It was very modern looking with low-lighting. The service was good. Our server was nice. He did mix up our sushi rolls and ignored us when we told him a sushi roll belonged to someone else at the table so we had to pass it across the table to the right person. My sushi rolls were pretty good. I loved the Nemo roll! It was yummy and very well cooked. The other roll I got was just okay. We arrived a little late, and even though it was a Friday night, the server was quick to greet us and get our food started. We got tempura and it was not crispy and chewy. Then we both got beef bowls with fried rice upgrade. The rice was not worth the 4 dollar upgrade we got egg shells and hair in our rice. I came here for a late lunch / early dinner on a Friday and made it in time for happy hour! They were pretty busy and after we got seated the people after us had to wait for seats. Id recommend to come early or make reservations if you have a large group. We ordered the happy hour calamari, the soft shell crab roll, chirashi bowl, a jalapeno popper dish?, nigiri of salmon belly, and albacore belly. Our total was around about $150 after tax and tip. The calamari here is thick but freshly fried, I don't think it would have been worth the non happy hour price. The soft shell crab roll was not what I expected, the soft shell crab was on the side and was not inside of the roll. The chirashi bowl had a great portion of fish, it was too much food and we had to package it up to go. The salmon belly and albacore belly were delish!!! These were market prices and $14 each. I had the full salmon dinner. The portions were huge. The fried rice and sautéed vegetables were oily and their respective sauces thick. The Asahi 0.0 was really nice and helped me swallow the less than half of the sides that I ate. The salmon wasn't too bad, a bit dry, the thicker part almost most enough. I was able to eat the full portion of the salmon. Left a lot on the plate. I discovered I prefer Korean restaurants for the many small dishes served fresh on the side. The dip is a spicy mayo that seems to be served with everything(also the same sauce for fried green beans which weren't good) The booty booty tempura roll is what I got and it was very underwhelming. I am so sad about having to leave this review because the food has been good all the other times I've come but yesterday evening at around 7pm we came for dinner and every entree that we ordered was just off from the sushi roll having a overly fishy smell and it wasn't cold to the chicken teryaki being cold as well as it came out I was extremely disappointed but not only that but my son and I both got food poisoning we had stomach aches all night and today as well immediately after eating our dinner last night. Came here for our monthly Girls Dinner and we had a great time! The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and got our group of five seated within 25 minutes (on a Friday early evening). Our server Rachel was fantastic; patient, knowledgeable with recommendations on dishes and drinks and she was very attentive.
