For a while my family & I have been going to a "water store" in Sacramento. We used to have an expensive water treatment/softener for our home but we left that home & now we purchase water. We've always drove by this store when we would shop at the Nugget. One day my husband decided to try it out & fill our water jugs there. (4-5 gal & 1-3 gal jugs) Big mistake. The water is so disgusting I can barely sip it. It tastes worse than tap water from a hose! No joke! I'm very particular of the taste of my water & know that whatever is put into the water can effect the taste of what we make from it. Unfortunately we will never buy water here ever again. Excellent customer service. Jim is always willing to come to our house to make adjustments to our system. Water Warehouse installed a Hague Watermax ST-200 water conditioner / softener and our water, which was previously very hard and had a chlorinated taste / smell, is now soft and drinkable straight from the tap. Water Warehouse installed a water softener and reverse osmosis filtration system in my kitchen. I am so happy with both installations. We needed a water softener as my wife's eczema grew from bad to worse last year. After the installation, my wife's skin got much better. It was worth every penny! I also really enjoy the water filtration system in our kitchen. I had to get used to the taste of soft water because, at least personally, it doesn't taste as "crisp" as hard water, but with the water filtration system it purifies the water so I don't have worry about unclean water coming in. The filtration system is recommended to be replaced every couple of years. I like how Water Warehouse does a good job following up with their clients, too. After about 6 months they came by and tested my water system just to make sure it was working properly. They didn't try to sell me anything. It was just a great service that they have. since the new ownership i feel like the new owner is a jerk! I have been inside to meet the new guy and he just comes off as a prick. my husband went the other night and he came home bothered by his attitude and comments. all the conversations we have with him he makes any rude comment he can, puts your opinion down.. he even insulted my husbands work choice down. (hes a mechanic) i love the water here but the customer service is crap from the owner/manager (whatever he is) im really close to going elsewhere just for my water because we're both bothered by him. i miss bill. he was a sweet old guy. read more

This review is a little late but here it is. Bought a part (compression fitting) from this store for my Kenmore reverse osmosis system in 2007. I was served by a 50 something caucasian gentlemen who is most likely the business owner. He sold me two different sized fittings as I didn't know which one I needed and said that I could return whichever one didn't work for me. The fittings were sold to me for about $7 each. When I came back the following week to return the fitting that I didn't need, the same guy didn't believe that he had sold me the fitting for $7. He claimed that the fitting was worth about a buck. He did refund my $7 when I showed him my receipt. A little shady so I haven't been back to this store again...Glad I have a Kenmore water softener and reverse osmosis system that cost me $400 and does the same as this guys over priced systems. read more

I've been supplying my house with water from Water Warehouse for years. Water tastes great and it's healthy for you. Their after hours machine also takes dollar bills which helps a lot. I have no qualms with this place, the owners are pleasant and help me with anything I need. I bought a house with a water softener but like most things in a used house I had no idea if it had been serviced. If you have a water softener, a very good idea, you must get it serviced approximately every three years. Failure to do so can lead to damage to you pipes the very thing you're trying to prevent. The unit had been purchased at the Water Warehouse in Elk Grove. I spoke with the owner, Aaron, who came over and tested my water and found the it was not too late. But, I knew I'd need to get the unit serviced. He sent out a technician the same day, Robert. Robert was a delight, pleasant and very professional. In sum I had a good experience.
