Good atmosphere in the bar area with awesome unobstructed bay front views. Sampled their homemade meatballs and a wedge salad---both very good. Be warned.....wedge salad is huge and they don't skimp on the blue cheese!

I found the pictures deceiving. Walking into restaurant I felt I was walking into a make shift space and a bit dull/dated. The two stars are really for the bartender for being patience and answering our questions but this is expected of service right? The food was mediocre. I ordered the cast iron Brie. It was described as truffle Brie with a strawberry basil compote. It sounded delicious. Unfortunately it was lackluster from presentation to taste. I didn't get any hints of truffle or basil. It was melted Brie with soggy phyllo dough in it and four small pieces of strawberries with a little sauce in the middle. The snapper we ordered was bland. The salt and pepper shakers helped The honey sriracha Brussels sprouts were tasty, flavorful. I was looking forward to this venue so perhaps my disappointment was greater due to anticipation. They are working with their full menu which is a plus

I was working in Clearwater for the weekend and discovered The Watercolor Grillhouse, located inside the Marriott Resort in Sand Key. There's plenty of paid parking spots and valet with no validation. The staff were friendly, the ambiance was romantic. My friend and I sat at a table with the water view outside the glass windows. The band was getting set up when we first arrived so we ordered a glass of Malbec and a non alcoholic beverage. For dinner I opted for the seared scallops and my turned ordered the pork chop and we shared the Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were a hit with the sweet and savory taste. The pork chop was tender and juicy with lots of flavors. My scallop dish fell a little flat. I wasn't a fan of the risotto because the richness of the dish and cheese was overpowering. The high price point is expected from restaurant near the beaches. I did enjoy the view and ambiance. Overall, it's a nice place to go with a date or spend time with your best friend.

This was probably one of the nicest dinner we've had out in a long time. Our service from Maria was exceptional, as well as her suggestion and knowledge of the menu. We highly recommend this place and we can't wait to go back.

10/10 experience! Food was amazing - I am a big lover of steak and this ribeye was seasoned to perfection. My guest got the filet and was very impressed with hers as well. The sides that we ordered were the mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. We found that the Mac and cheese was made with tortellini which was a nice surprise. In addition, we ordered the berry lemon drop martini - highly recommend! Our server was awesome. He was attentive and made sure we had a great experience. I would definitely come back whenever I am visiting again.

Gorgeous view and great service. My bf and I treated his father to a delicious birthday dinner at 5:30 on a Thursday and it was not crowded like I would've thought! Sat right near the rail on the outside patio. Crab cakes were delicious, food is a little pricey, but that's expected at a fine dining establishment. 10/10

Good food. Steak needed a little crust but was cooked well. Not steakhouse quality, porter house needs to be cut and finished with butter in my opinion but service was very good and the rest was good. It

Very nice service and got a great view. We came here for my company's party and the service was amazing. We ordered many types of food and it was pretty good. I didn't give it more stars because it's nothing that special; it's a steak house with sushi and some seafood. I guess I can say I had better steaks and better dishes elsewhere. I think it's nice for the people that stay at the Marriott and once again, their service was great.

management is very accommodating! food was delicious, order the peanut butter pie!! wine is very affordable

This was our first visit. The restaurant is through the lobby and is a truly beautiful venue with views of the Intracoastal Waterway. For appetizers, we ordered the Angry Mussels and the Watercolour Crabcake. Unfortunately, they were out of the mussels. The crab cake was very tasty. I would highly recommend it. For entrées, we ordered the Bone-In Ribeye and the 12oz Grouper (grilled). We both ordered fully loaded bake potatoes, too. I had wanted my ribeye cooked medium rare and it came to table well done. I had let the server know that my steak was overcooked and she told me to "cut into it more and it would be medium rare." This went back and forth for a while and she finally took it back as well as our cold baked potatoes. The manager did show up and appologized. The argumentative server came back with a properly cooked steak and hot baked potatoes. The manager also replaced the now ice-cold grouper. The manager also offered us some gratis desserts. Despite the manager making everything food-wise right, the mood of a relaxing meal with a great view was ruined. I have never had a server argue with me as to the doneness of a steak. Disappointed.

Dead mosquitoes or gnats in the window sill. Asked that my steak be cooked super well done. it was completely pink all the way through. Server did not check in to see how the food was, did stop by to see if dining partner wanted another beer. Server cleared our table and began carting away rather than ask if I'd like to take the uneaten steak with me. I had to find another server to request it be prepared for take out to cook thoroughly at home. Keep in mind the steak was 50.00 with no sides. I paid for my side separately. ambiance and view was great.

Super friendly, energetic and on the ball with his recommendations. Started off with an espresso martini which was tasteful. Then to be greeted with fresh warm bread and everything bread crisps with the delicious balsamic Parmesan oil to dip in, YUM! After taking a bite of the bread and oil I knew we were in for a treat. Decided on the Prime Ribeye and Wagyu Hanger Steak. Every single bite of the ribeye was flavorful and had a beautiful char. The wagyu hanger was melt in your mouth but had a different seasoning than the ribeye but a tasty dish. We were stuffed but didn't want to stop! We both ordered our steaks rare and they came out perfect. Ordered the asparagus and garlic whipped potatoes, perfect for two to share. Never hit a hard part of the asparagus and demolished the garlic potatoes. We went on a Thursday night and it wasn't busy and got to sit in the dining area. Very modern and tasteful in their decorating, intimate and welcoming.

The star of the evening was undoubtedly my tomahawk steak cooked to a perfect medium-rare--beautifully seared on the outside with a tender, juicy pink center that showcased the quality of the meat. The truffle cream sauce I paired with it was absolutely delicious and packed with rich, earthy flavor that complemented the steak wonderfully. The steak tips appetizer set a great tone for the meal. The meat was incredibly tender and came with a fantastic sauce that elevated every bite. We also enjoyed the complimentary bread service with the oil and balsamic vinegar combo, which was so good we kept going back for more. The creamed corn was a solid side with good flavor and texture. However, the broccolini fell flat and lacked the seasoning or flavor we expected from a steakhouse of this caliber. Unfortunately, my girlfriend's scallop and lobster risotto was a letdown. It had a distinctly fishy taste that made it inedible. We eat a lot of seafood and know it's not supposed to be like that for these items. To the restaurant's credit, the staff handled the situation professionally and removed the dish from our bill without hesitation, which we really appreciated and speaks to their commitment to customer satisfaction. Despite the risotto issue, I'd still recommend this steakhouse primarily for their beef. The tomahawk was executed flawlessly, the steak tips were delicious, and their willingness to make things right when a dish missed the mark shows they care about the dining experience. Just stick with the steak rather than the seafood options. They did mention this usually isn't an issue however.

We weren't seated until around 8:20 PM. The restaurant was extremely busy. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was nice. Once we were seated, it took a while for our waitress to come over, but we understood because of how crowded it was. Unfortunately, when she did come to the table, she seemed extremely rushed and it came across a little rude. I had several questions about gluten-free precautions, and every time I asked something she quickly said "yes" without really explaining. We ordered the Millionaire Bacon, oysters and the octopus as appetizers since both were listed on the gluten-free menu. I specifically explained that both needed to be prepared gluten-free. On the menu, it even notes in parentheses what needs to be removed to make certain dishes gluten-free. When the appetizers arrived, I noticed the octopus still had the red sauce that the menu said must be removed. I stopped our waitress as she rushed by, and she quickly said it was gluten-free and walked away. My husband had just put some in his plate when the server, who had brought the food out, came back and asked if we had eaten any yet because it had not been made gluten-free. He immediately took it back and returned with a gluten free one. When I mentioned it to our waitress, though, she kind of just shrugged it off. For dinner, I had the seafood bowl, and my daughter, who also eats gluten-free, had the salmon with potatoes au gratin. My son and his girlfriend got sushi, and my husband had the fish Clearwater style. Everything looked great when it came out, and I double-checked that my meal was gluten-free. The server confirmed it was. Overall, the food tasted really good. The only issue was my daughter's potatoes au gratin there was so much grease pooled on top that she ended up not eating it because they were basically inedible and her salmon was over cooked and had zero seasoning. Overall, our meal was good. The restaurant was packed, and we were disappointed that we missed the chance to sit outside and watch the sunset, but that was obviously due to the rain and not the restaurant's fault.
