    My disappointment in my meal
    Jacques F.

The sausage gravy was top notch . However the biscuits were thin reminded me of Pillsbury Dough boy from grocery store. The egg was order over medium it was just shy of over hard. The amount of gravy provided was sparse and barely covers my wafer thin biscuits . Last point they don't carry Tobacco sauce which for a breakfast restaurant is a major no no for me . Was expecting something much better.

Nice clean place. Very good service. Plenty of choices on breakfast menu. Coffee ok, but nothing special. Limited parking.

The service was great and it was cute. The highway men art was nice to see. I got the eggs Florentine, if you do order ask them to be runny. The first attempt came out hard but they were quick to fix it, making them perfect. The pancake was light and fluffy. The eggs were good. The coffee was eh!

This is the front of the restaurant,

The comments below are my opinion I had Emily as my server, not impressed at all The food was very good. She is not very friendly and is a rude and unprofessional. I have been to Waterfall restaurant three times before, always great service and good food. There are quite a few complaints about this place, most about unfriendly service and long time for food. My uncle and I like this place. Everything I am saying is exact and not exaggerated. I ordered the salmon omelette, and a v8 juice, 2 minutes after I placed my order I stopped my server and asked her if she could bring me one of the Mexican Cokes. I wanted to try it out, I also requested for them to add basil and jalapenos. When it arrived it did not have the basil or jalapenos. No big deal to me really I figured they just forget. I had to call over my server. Emily, I let her know that there was no basil or jalapenos, she got nasty and in a very big attitude and said no, they did not. I told him to put it in there. I said I understand but let me show you, I opened up the omelette to show there was no basil or jalapenos. The only thing I expected was her to so no problem let me get you some basil and jalapeno. She went into the kitchen, got the dry basil instead of fresh basil and some jalapenos, and stated I talked to the cook and he said he did put it in and rudely slammed them on the table. If I have a problem with somebody I will talk to them about it. I explained to Emily that I believe the way she handled the situation. She was rude and nasty, and had a bad attitude. She stated that she helped me with my order even though she was busy, so I just asking for a Mexican soda and to add jalapenos and basil to my order was a bother to her. Funny thing is, I went looking at reviews I am the first one that came up was that the customer felt like they were a botherer to the server lol I requested the manager or owner, instead, they brought over what I believe would be the bus boy, I asked him for the manager and he said they do not have one in the restaurant. I asked for the owner. I was told she was not there. It is in my opinion from anybody that reads this should contact the owner and let them know that the behavior is not acceptable. I am sure this is not the first time or the last time the server is going to be rude to a customer. I used to manage restaurants, there is no way I would allow a server to speak to a customer the way she spoke to me. I am not being dramatic if you could afford the disdain coming from the server, it is unacceptable. This is why restaurants close. They do not take care of their customers properly, especially if they have a lot of reviews. Showing it is a bad location because of their employees. Please reach out to the owner and let them know how you feel.

Service and food was perfect. Great breakfast and lunch restaurant. Plus you get to look at the Highway Men Art!

After a long day of preparation for Easter for 3 daughters we needed a moment for us, before the next days celebration. We had the back room to ourselves and it was just perfect. I just had to say, my husband loves to cook for me, especially short ribs and a beautiful brown sauce and he is amazing at it. Well, this blew him and I both away. Also, the skewers were something out of this world. There is an article about them in Vero Mag. This place is a secret we want to keep to ourselves but a place with this much talent is meant to be celebrated. Ohhh and the Short Rib Rangoons! Thank you curfew for giving to very busy parents a couple hours to just connect and enjoy a wonderful place. We cannot wait to come back again. We had Short Rib Rangoon, Bubbly Crab & Artichoke Dip, steak skewer, Deviled Eggs, & a main Short Rib, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Curfew Gravy.

We left because the bartender, Dillon I believe, was uninterested, a bit rude and completely lackadaisical in my informed opinion. In this case we had one and moved on across the street! You can trust me, I was in the business! ;D

The beet salad was refreshing. The lettuce was a little wilted but not terrible. The rock shrimp pasta was flavorful and the seafood was very tender. Came with a big portion of pasta that I requested on the side. My maple duck breast was amazing. Big piece with crispy skin and juicy meat. The seasoning was right. The mashed potatoes were smooth and fluffy. It also came with a small order of bread and the cornbread pieces were great. I'm sure the dine in experience would've made everything even better.

I knew the food was going to be good because they were jam packed on a Tuesday! They have a large variety of specialty cocktails and a full bar. I enjoyed a specialty drink and then switched to prosecco. My server, Sarah, was outstanding and provided top notch service. They start you off with a yummy sweet cornbread service. I ate too much of the bread! For my meal, I started with the steak tartare and it was excellent, high quality beef. I then moved onto the chargrilled oysters which were a 1000/10! Amazing flavor... the blend of the butter and 3 cheeses was perfect! I then had the best pork chop I've ever eaten in my life. They brine it for 24 hours in a sweet tea mixture... I was thinking that would taste weird or sweet but it was neither. The chop was simply the most divine, juicy and flavorful pork chop I have ever consumed. Words can't express the deliciousness! It was 10000000/10. The chop was paired with the best grits I've ever had. I take grits seriously as a southern woman and those were magnificent. Restaurant was very clean. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The manager worked the room all night attending to guests and making sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend and will absolutely be back!!

This historical restaurant is located right on the water - any closer and you'd be swimming. It's an old building full of history and fun stories on the menu of how it came to be. It's a special place and it's memorable. We've been several times for lunch and dinner throughout the years. This place has a beachy gift shop, a main waiting room with the hostess stand, an oceanfront indoor bar and lounge area, and the main dining room. For lunch, it's more laid back. The menu is sandwich-heavy but includes some non-sandwich items like fried shrimp plate, nova scotia scallops, and a special entree each day. It's a lot less busy for the most part during lunch in comparison to dinner. Dinner is a big to-do here. They open at 4pm for bar seating and to add your name to the dinner waitlist. If you want a table, especially one closer to the best view, you've gotta get there around 3:50-4 to get in line. They don't do reservations unless you're a larger party. You can then either leave and come back close to 5, or enjoy drinks at their bar if you're lucky enough to score seating. At dinner, the menu is definitely more extensive- featuring steaks, chops, and different fish/seafood specials. We love their prime rib, and the creamed spinach is perfect and old school. At lunch and dinner, don't miss out on their dessert tray presentation. The dessert tray has a lot of options - and it's a fun experience. Their bartenders are always nice and professional, and most importantly make a delicious cocktail. Cosmos, pear martinis, dirty martinis, all delicious each time we visit. Servers are also nice and professional too which lends to the charm of this old place! We had one bad scenario out of all of the times we visited regarding service from an assistant manager - but every other visit has been great! I love that they have GF options, like french onion soup made without the bread! On your way out, stop by the gift shop for even more goodies - their homemade blue cheese dip is not to miss! It's complementary at dinner, but honestly we like to buy extra for the house. They also sell dessert slices, and alcoholic beverages like rum runners, pain killers, margaritas, etc in two different sizes. Great to take to enjoy and walk down the beach!
