The owners/cooks were very humble, down-to-earth folks who made the space feel very homey like we were at a small get-together with the homies! Though I was solo dolo on a SF adventure , I felt a part of the community upon entrance. The food tasted fresh! Sometimes it is difficult with seafood because of poor preservation practices. Was a little hard to find on Google Maps because it is called "Doloreswaterfall Michelada House" on there, but really glad we made it. Came in for lunch on a weekday and got the fish taco and two shrimp tacos lunch sets ($12 each), each coming with a small shrimp ceviche and chips. After ordering, we saw the chef putting the food in to-go boxes and asked if we could dine in. He offered to plate the food and took the time to shift everything over. The flavors, textures, and seasonings of the fresh fruits, vegetables, and shrimp in the ceviche formed a delicious balance with the chips. The fish taco came with fresh vegetables and creamy sauce that made it incredibly flavorful without being too heavy. My friend who got the shrimp tacos was mind blown by how shrimp in a crispy taco could taste so good. Really impressed by the overall quality of food and amount of care put into our experience. The decor and ambiance was also quite nice, and there were a few tables inside for indoor dining. Will definitely be back for the micheladas and other ceviches! Truly a great find in SF. read more

The boyfriend and I got: Aguachile Verde 10/10- the raw shrimp with cucumber, avocado, lime juice, cilantro and onions was just fantastic. First time we ever had raw shrimp and won't be the last! The meat was sweet, tender and juicy. Super refreshing on a sunny day!! Cevichelada 10/10- mango and more shrimp ceviche with michelada? No need to explain- was awesomely refreshing too. I looked inside and there was barely any food. I was shocked how extremely small the portions were. I got this order to go and they placed the food in an unreliable container. The sauce of the food leaked all over my bag and it was a mess to clean up. After cleaning up the mess that made my entire bag smelled, I sat down and tried the food.
