It was fairly busy. Sunday morning after church crowd. Our order was taken fairly quickly but the wait for our food was very lengthy. Five other tables near us, that sat down after we ordered, ordered and received their food before we got ours. We were very close to just walking out as it was going on 45 minutes before we got our food. When it came, my eggs were barely warm and my wife's hash browns were greasy and soggy and barely warm. The manager did a courtesy check and we informed her about all the issues. She offered nothing other than a fresh order of hash browns that were hot but greasier than the first batch. All in all, the food was mediocre, the service very slow, and the manager not much help. Won't be going back. read more

I went here with my grandparents, and it was surprisingly empty. We've never been here before because we wanted something new. Our waiter was very nice and polite, making a comfortable, yet quite , environment. My pancakes were very good, along with the somewhat cold bacon. Everyone else's grits were cold, and you could tell it had been microwaved from the morning. It was overall a nice place, but they shouldn't make breakfast last all day if it is going to be cold like that. Food not bad. But to go/ curbside order very messy! Ordered online and food was supposed to be curbside ready @ 9:04 am. Waited outside until 9:10am and called restaurant and they asked if I wanted them to bring outside. Isn't that what curbside delivery is? I ordered chicken fried steak breakfast. They left out the gravy which I didn't realize until I got all the way home. Had to go all the way back up to get the gravy. Of coarse by the time I did that my food was cold! read more

Love there food, the employees are very sweet and nice and very good in keeping track on your drinks and offering more beverages and asking you if everything is ok. What I recommend is, instead of fries for breakfast food, should recommend roasted potatoes with the food. In my opinion. Cause who wants fries for breakfast. Food is awesome. The family decided we wanted to go out for breakfast and wanted to go someplace different so we stopped in here. The while staff was friendly. The food was good (not great)but just like every place else it's really expensive you're $50 bucks plus tip for breakfast for three people is high. But if money is not an object, I would suggest going here but with people on a fixed income, I wouldn't. When you can go to Denny's, get eggs, meat, and sausage and pancakes for $6 so you can leave for $24 for three people with tip. read more

First time here for brunch. Very cute place. Nice atmosphere and clean. We had the scramble with house potatoes. We were told the potatoes are grilled and were so excited to try it all! The scramble was ok but tasteless. The potatoes were not soft enough, had no crisp at all and some were not cooked enough, they also had no taste. Some spices would have done magic for everything. We enjoyed a good breakfast here. Food was just all right. Just the traditional options you find around. Although labeled as American food, I think it leans more towards Mexican cuisine. I don't know of any other American traditional venue that offers chilaquiles. I didn't get to try them, but judging by the hash brown skillet I ordered, I'm sure are good. I found it a little overpriced, but when you look at the are where they are at, it makes sense. All in all, a good experience. read more

Tried this place out on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We were seated right away and that was the only quick service we received. When we asked for a coffee refill it took 10+ minutes. Never once while we were there did they refill our water. The French toast was very good and came out super quick. My biscuits and gravy were cold so I asked that they take it back to be redone or at least warm. They brought my food back (the same food) which I guess had been heated up in a microwave because the plate was extremely hot but the food was barely warm. I did not eat it so they did take it off the check which is appreciated but I would rather have had my food brought out hot and fresh and gotten to eat it. They then brought us the check so we gave them the card to pay. They brought it back for us to sign but didn't return out card. When we asked where the card was they said they forgot to run it so they had to go run the card to pay for the food then would bring it to us. It was weird. The service was extremely slow and not good. The only good thing was the French toast. Was disappointed. read more

I only had the Spinach & Mushrooms Quiche Platter, so that's all I can rate. It was tasty. The only complaint I have is the crust tasted/felt microwaved. I realize it has to be warmed-up, but crust does not usually do well in a microwave (not sure that it was actually microwaved, I can only state that it tasted like microwaved crust - soft and bread'y without the usual crust-crunch). Since I love the crust on a pie or quiche, it is an important part of the dish for me. However, if you can look past that issue, or simply are not a crust lover like me, the actual quiche (filling) was good. I would eat it again if I could get it warmed differently. read more

Cute little local place, with equally charming staff! Everyone was super nice, and very attentive. Our breakfast was really good. The only thing I would improve is to toast the English muffins before putting the toppings on for the Benedict. I have never had it where it wasn't toasted first and it became super mushy. The 1488/2978 "New Magnolia" area has long needed a good traditional diner or cafe style restaurant and finally has one! The service was outstanding, very friendly young ladies, and attentive. Went here for lunch today with my daughter and her friend, both pre-teens. Very kid-friendly (and mom-friendly) menu. Appetizer: Fried green tomatoes. These are amazing: thick slices that are very crispy on the outside and served piping-hot. Main dishes: the girls had chicken and waffles, which is always reliably delicious here. They enjoyed it very much. I had a chicken and avocado salad. This was also very good. Enormous portion size with good quality avocado/lettuce/tomatoes. Dessert: Fried Oreos. Well, they are fried Oreos. How could they not be yummy? Service: pleasant and efficient. Overall, very cool, casual place to go with the kids or without. It's been a year since my last visit and I have to say this place is doing great! Though the service was a tad bit slow due to a rush of folks coming in, the wait was worth it! Food was hot and coffee was perfect. The owners have made this place into the go to for breakfast. Only thing I regret is that the secret is out and folks have found this out. I'm glad I stopped in. Bacon is thick and crispy, but not burnt, perfect. Skillet ribeye completely filled me up. Biscuits are huge. The items on the skillet were all cooked well. Onions were well browned with lots of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. read more

We decided to try this place today for the first time. We were not disappointed! Being Sunday and Father's Day, they were packed..but the hostess was right there & seated my daughter & I right away. I finally found a restaurant that serves fried green tomatoes!! Needless to say, that was the first thing I ordered..they were absolutely delicious!! My daughter had a patty melt and I ordered a Reuben sandwich, each with French fries. We enjoyed our choices very much! Good breakfast place. My husband ordered the cowboy plate and the bacon was deliciously crispy and his eggs perfectly cooked. My plate had good flavor too. Chilaquiles were a little soggy, but the salsa had a good flavor. My only complaint is that the chilaquiles had raw diced onion and it wasn't disclosed on the menu. I picked it off and still enjoyed my breakfast, but I feel raw onion has such a strong flavor and should be noted as an ingredient. Overall, good value. Will be returning. read more

Well no long ago we move to this area and we started looking and visiting the places around our new home. Well #waterfallsCafe it's a amazing place to eat, breakfast, lunch, dinner ! The food it's homemade, you can feel the freshness. The waitresses are really nice. We love this place that we are coming every weekend. The fresh orange juice delicious! I'm a coffee drinker and they have a good coffee. Ambiance very nice and no a loud place, very family oriented. We went to Waterfalls Cafe last weekend for the first time. The food was well priced and the food was wonderful. My kids both got the bacon burger (their fries are phenomenal btw!) and loved their meals. My son actually requested the same meal for his birthday today. lol My husband and I got the meatlovers omelette. It was very tasty and had this smokey flavor that was a great addition!
