I am a little more venturesome and tried their hamburger which are very good. I could make a meal of just the bun. This place was one of the best unexpected finds in Tomball! The staff was so friendly and attentive, the eggs Benedict were a complete dream, and coming from San Antonio, the Migas my friend ordered were a close second to what we get at home. Just had some amazing brunch at Waterfalls Cafe in their new beautiful location. This restaurant is family-owned and they aim to please- everything we've tried. It's been delicious, more than ample portions, very reasonably priced. If you haven't been, you need to get on over there they're open from 8 to 8. I believe the breakfast are really good. We moved from out of state a year ago and fell in love with The Waterfalls Cafe in Magnolia. The atmosphere, customer service and cleanliness is spot on. Came here on Saturday morning, there were 3 tables in front of us. It took 40 minutes to get our food. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. I got my plate and the mashed potatoes were basically slop. When the waiter came by she's says she apologizes they ran out of mashed potatoes so they had to improvise. Are you kidding me? It's like that just added milk to stirred chopped hard potatoes in it. Service was mediocre, I asked if she can see what it taking so long with our order and she said ok and continued to serve about 5 other people. Definitely Not recommending this place. read more

This was the 1st time here. It's a nice little local cafe that is very clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. They're open for breakfast and lunch and all dishes are served during working hours. The prices are very reasonable - A 2 egg, potato & toast breakfast is under $5.00. Their house potatoes are very, very good. I ordered mine crispy. I liked that they had rye bread. I ordered my scrambled eggs well & they were cookedbto perfection. My friend ordered the chicken salad sandwich - it's made a little different but he says it was really good. The coffee was good & never worry about your cup being empty. I am tired of eating at the same places, bestie suggested this spot and it's conveniently on my way to work. Nice and clean, we were greeted by our server and he brought our beverages. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette with house potatoes and biscuit. My friend did the big biscuit breakfast and she enjoyed everything. The potatoes were good, not burnt or deep fried like a lot of places do. My biscuit was big and a little sweet tasting, my omelette was very good they didn't skimp on the cheese, yay! Our server joked around with us and we enjoyed our visit today, looking forward trying other things here. read more

I had lunch here on a busy Saturday. Lots of people there, only a few tables open. It's a very informal, homey place--you seat yourself. I ordered a chicken fried steak with onion rings and green beans, a coke, and the fried ice cream for dessert. I must have come in at the end of the brunch service because it took about 30 minutes to get my food. Most of the restaurant had cleared out by the time it came. But the service was attentive and they kept my drink filled while I waited. There were a lot of good things on the plate. The green beans were tasty, mostly because they included a whole lot of bacon. And it was crisp bacon--it held up in the liquid. Initially it was excellent but--I can't believe I'm saying this--I think there might have been too much bacon. As I got further down the brine got pretty sour. The onion rings were good and had that homemade look. They bit through cleanly so were done right. Unfortunately the star of the show, the CFS, was not that great. Some of that wait time went into cooking it--it was somewhat overdone and dry. Excellent, flavorful gravy went some way to making up for it, but not enough to make it likeable. You definitely should try the fried ice cream--beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious. The ice cream was rolled in a crispy coating and served in a nice fried sopapilla shell. It was a great way to end the meal. I've also had the hash browns and eggs here, they are a good way to start the day. The decor is very relaxed, mostly pictures of--waterfalls. The single restroom was clean and functional, even right after the rush. The place is perfect for a meal with friends or family, there is music but it is just loud enough so you don't end up listening to the conversation at a neighbor's table. All in all, if you want a nice diner atmosphere this is a good place. read more

My wife showed me this place a while back and I loved it ever since , great services , nice people , always cleaned tables . I always get the same thing , atomic burrito with green sauce and a coffee . They are always on point and walk around with a coffee jug to fill up or top off anyone that wants more coffee . Im surprised by the average rating this restaurant! Wanting to support a local eatery I decided to order a chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese as my sides. And, I have to be blunt: it was DISGUSTING! My goodness! The chicken fried steak taste as if it were from a frozen meal, the mashed potatoes had the consistency of grits- too much moisture in it, and the Mac and cheese- box Mac and cheese has more flavor! The walls around the restroom and hall are dirty and stained. It needs some cleaning. For a hole in the wall cafe, you can't do much better that this. The wife and I came by just looking for some good breakfast. We were not expecting to find a phenomenal restaurant. The staff is clean and nice. The menu ranges from breakfast to dinner, American to Mexican. I had the Fireman's special with a biscuit and just let me tell you this meat platter is fantastic. But what really made my day was the perfect crumbly biscuit. You can really tell this place is homemade food good for the soul. And don't forget to ask for the homemade salsa when you come by. First time here 10/18/2017. Hate the paint color. Needs to be a pretty med gray to go with the black chairs. That would be way more elegant and upscale. TV needs to disappear. I imagine if it gets busy then you may wait a bit (we didn't wait at all) as there's only a couple people working there. I love this breakfast spot! The family that runs it is so sweet and the food is amazing! I've never had anything off the menu that I didn't love. My current favorite is the Fireman Special with the Cinnamon Pecan pancakes as an appetizer because they are the best I've ever had. This will be enough food for 2-3 meals! My new favorite breakfast place! Found by accident, but was a very pleasant accident. Let me just say, house Colombian coffee was not strained through a jockstrap like most breakfast/brunch places. You always hear them say, "Our coffee is really good!" And then you try it and it tastes like an oil can. Not here! Ask Krystal, she not only has really good taste, she knows what is good here. Lovely little cafe close to home. Very good food. I had the Philly and the hubby had a burger. Both the fries and the onion rings are really tasty as well. Small side note service was good but it seemed like they really didn't seem like they knew their business. Kind of like "I'm here because my parents said so". Would like to see them engaged more.
