You're allowed to have up to 2 tents per site, parking is literally just steps away, and the bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. I also loved how easy the online booking process was. Unfortunately, when booking, we had to reserve 2 separate sites and couldn't get them next to each other for both nights. I was worried about it, but when we checked in, the ladies at the office were so kind and worked their magic to keep our family together the entire stay. I really appreciated how accommodating they were. Willow Beach is perfect for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and boating. If you're planning to swim with little kids, this probably isn't the best spot -- I'd recommend making the quick 10-minute drive to Lake Mead instead. This campground books up pretty fast, so definitely plan ahead. One great thing is that Willow Beach has a store and restaurant on site, so if you forget supplies or want something fresh to eat, you're covered. My family and I absolutely loved camping here. We had a campfire every night and went on peaceful walks around the campground after dark. It was beautiful, relaxing, and surprisingly quiet at night. I'd definitely recommend staying here. I probably wouldn't tent camp here during the summer heat, but staying in an RV with AC would be perfect!

I actually really liked his hotel. It was a bit of a throwback as it sported more of a motel style…read morelike places that I used to stay when I was a kid traveling with my parents. All of the entrances as far as I could tell were exterior. Some people don't like that, but if the area is safe, I actually find it rather convenient. Just pull up to your door, unload and you're set. This hotel is located less than 30 mimutes from LAS, which is quite convenient, especially when you fly in late and there is a slow getaway from the airport (thanks to incredibly long lines for the rental car shuttle). Another key feature is that it is 20 minutes or less from Hoover Dam and about 10 minutes from the Lake Mead Visitor Center. This was the main reason for choosing this place as our lodging. The building is massive and looked almost imposing on arrival. The website says it has 99 rooms but the impressive structure is three stories high stretching deeper than you'd expect. I would have guessed more rooms than that without looking it up. We arrived at night and the outside lighting they employ creates an attractive facade as you pull up. The area in which it was located was interesting and bordered on kitschy, as it had that remnant of the Old West touristy appeal that I remember as a kid. There were plenty of hotels/motels and restaurants/pancake houses along the wide boulevard. The front desk clerk was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. She had us checked in quickly which was appreciated given the late hour. We were at the back end of our building, so finding parking right by our room even at that time was no issue. The room was adequately spacious for our needs. They only had options for two beds at the time I made the reservation, even though I booked several weeks in advance. We usually prefer King or Queen options, but this was OK. The room was decently equipped and everything, including WiFi, worked well. Some might say the rooms need updating, but I thought they were perfectly fine. The furniture was in good shape and there was nothing about it that was off-putting. The pool was in a separate building. We did not use it, but it looked quite nice. There was also a small, somewhat inconspicuous exercise room on the first floor near the office. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, allowing us to get good sleep. The bathroom allowed us enough room to maneuver so that we could get cleaned up in the morning. The breakfast room was located on the second floor and had almost the feel of a church camp dining hall with an open, plainly decorated layout. But there were also some outside tables in the shade on the walkway and, if you could stand the 90-degree temperature even at that time of the morning, it allowed for a pleasant quieter meal. The checkout process was smooth and easy. I mentioned the proximity both to the airport and to Hoover Dam/Lake Mead as reasons for choosing this establishment. But the other half of the equation was the $108 price tag. With tax, it was around $120, which was a better deal than most places. Add to that the ability to get BW points, and it was an ideal option for us. I would definitely stay here again if we make a return visit to the local attractions. It was a perfect base for a Hoover Dam or Lake Mead visit.

I have stayed at this Best Western three separate times, so this review reflects the aggregate of those experiences. Pros: Pet-Friendly: A major plus for me, as my dog is usually my travel co-pilot. Superior Mattresses: The Best Western has the most comfortable beds in town--even beating the upscale Boulder Dam Hotel. While other local spots seem to use the same stiff, mail-order foam mattresses, this property provides the support needed for a traveler with back and neck issues. Room Amenities & Parking: Rooms are decently sized and equipped with a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. The bathrooms are spacious, with ADA equipped walk-in showers available in many rooms. There is an enclosed swimming pool, and the large, wide parking lot offers plenty of space if you're travelling with a larger vehicle. Cons: Cleanliness & Maintenance: The rooms are outdated, but the bigger issue is that they are often poorly cleaned. During my stays, the bathroom sinks clogged quickly and stayed that way. Subpar Coffee & Breakfast: The complimentary lobby coffee is disappointing--tasting and smelling like mass-produced instant coffee. The included breakfast options are equally poor and also difficult to find. It took me two days to figure out where it's hiding haha. Since these amenities are built into the room rate, it feels like a waste of money. Poor Customer Service: Management is unresponsive. My front desk requests to fix the clogged sinks and cleanliness issues went unresolved, and the complaints I submitted to corporate via the Best Western app were completely ignored. Pro-Tip - if you are travelling with a pet and need a more comfortable mattress to sleep on, the Best Western in Boulder City is the best option, but I recommend eating across the street at the Southwest Diner and grabbing your coffee drinks up the street about two blocks at the Dam Roast House.

Beware of the Henderson Cruise America management. if you want to keep your family safe don't go to this buisness for your travel needs. First of all, I'm a return customer. My family and I had such a great time with your product before we decided to come back. We are a local family, and your Henderson location is right next to our house. On July 13th, I picked up the 30ft RV from your Henderson site. After a smooth pick-up, we headed on the freeway and noticed that both mirrors were shaking so badly I couldn't use the side mirrors for changing lanes, so I pulled over on the side of the freeway. I used a little bit of duct tape to secure both side mirrors. As we started heading up the highway, I started to feel hot air hitting my right foot coming from the engine compartment. I used duct tape and a wet yellow towel to act as a filter to lower the temperature and used a spray bottle to stop my foot from feeling the hot air. Later on as I proceeded up the mountain I heard a grinding noise and the muffler was dragging on the ground during steep climbs so I pulled over and used my strength and a dog leash to tie up the muffler. My family and I were in the middle of nowhere and there were no services available for miles. Also our fuel gauge had been acting strange during the trip. The gauge was getting stuck in the middle. I'm a 25 yr helicopter pilot and I'm used to equipment failing with no help I didn't want to worry my family nor break our plans with our scheduled vacation. We were high up in the Colorado with very little services. On July 23rd I returned the vehicle to your Henderson Location. I explained all of the mechanical issues to the Cruise American staff and that's when the disrespect started. I received no apology, no accountability, and the manager on duty didn't even come out to talk to me. I experienced multiple mechanical failures I was able to adapt to and still keep my family's trip on schedule. These family trips only happen once a year. I have pictures and videos of all of the mechanical issues. I'm not looking for money, and I'm not looking to hurt my neighboring business. I just want some accountability. I want to understand why my family and I could be sent in an RV with such hazardous defectives. On July 23rd, when I returned the RV, I was offered$139.00 with no apology, and the manager didn't even come out to talk to me. I admit I got mad and stormed out of the building. I just spent 9 days in an RV that I had to fix on the side of the road or freeway.

Campervans are easy to drive and can fit into any normal-sized parking space. Regarding this company, they provided incredible customer service and a clean, comfortable Campervan. The fold out bed was easy to assemble and the van included a sink, small fridge and storage spaces. Our van was waiting for us when we arrived. We had the option of choosing different bundles: blanket, kitchen items, tent, chairs, basically anything that enhances your outdoor experience. They even had a donation locker where you could take items left by other travelers. We loaded up and we're off on our adventure to Death Valley. We found that this company has several locations in the US, and they will allow for one way travel between their locations. We are now seriously considering planning a cross country trip!

Ice was needed our entire trip to keep anything remotely cold. 2. When you hit the brakes at 55-60 mph or more, the brake pedal vibrated as did the vehicle. 3. The headlights were terrible because the lenses were so sun faded and fogged over. 4. I'm unsure if the shocks were ever changed but every bump on an interstate or rough roads at 65 mph or greater, the van shook pretty bad and wobbled more anything. 4. When rented, I took a picture of the odometer at 598 as the last 3 and they claim it was 587 and charged us for the 11 miles we didn't even drive the vehicle. This is the 2nd time we've used Escape because the first time it was a great experience. This time was not an enjoyable experience and we won't be back. For the price of everything, you'd expect a van in good condition that felt safe as well as being fully functional...we did not get that.

After seeing some friends take an amazing van trip, we decided to try our hand at the glamping /…read morevan experience in Death Valley. Before settling on DeVan, we looked at numerous other van options on Outdoorsy but decided this one had everything we needed and Devan, the owner, was also great with answering all of our questions in advance of booking. As our trip approached, we coordinated with Devan as to when we'd like to pickup as we were flying into Las Vegas, staying the night, and then picking up the van the next day. We greatly appreciated that he was flexible with us on the pickup time as we were working and needed to do it between meetings. Upon arrival to the pickup location, Devan was outside ensuring the van was ready for us, so it made it very easy to get the pick-up process done. Also, we had very large luggage (this was stacked with another trip) and Devan allowed us to unpack the necessities into the van and then leave our luggage / extra clothing items at his home so we had extra room to enjoy. Not only was that a nice gesture but he also provided a few extra items that he had available which was not expected. Once we were unpacked into the van, we got a quick walk through, some tips on maximizing the experience and then we were ready to go! Once on our way, we made a quick stop to fill up the propane tank as a just-in-case thing at a place Devan had told us about and it was super easy/ cheap to do. We then made the drive to Death Valley and began our adventure. We arrived late that evening and immediately went to an event where the van made it all extra enjoyable as we were able to open the doors, engage with others and see the beautiful sky full of stars. After the event, we took the van to our campground, got our spot and then settled in for the evening. Everything was super easy to adjust to sleep (the couch opens and the cushions unfold) and it was surprisingly comfortable for a van! My bf is very tall so we did have to do some diagonal sleeping but it wasn't a problem at all once we got that figured out. Each day, we drove the van to the sites we wanted to and loved that we didn't have to leave just to grab lunch or use the restroom - we had everything we needed and were pretty well set. The stove top worked well which allowed us to cook what we wanted (fajitas, pasta, etc.) and the fridge was a decent size so we could keep the fresh ingredients and some drinks on hand as well. One additional thing with this van that is a huge plus is that it has a shower and it's easy to setup... and you have hot water which is a must. One thing I would note/ suggest is that if you are taking a trip for more than 2-3 days, learn how to fill the water tank as something that is good to know. We had the perfect amount of water for our trip but had it been any longer, it's something we would've wanted to know. My favorite evening on the trip would have to be when we drove to Dante's View to watch the sunset as we parked the van, climbed on the rooftop with a couple of drinks and watched the sun go down. The views were stunning and so many people stopped to chat about how we had the best view and to ask about the van/ experience. Once people started to clear out, we came down from the top, opened the doors and cooked dinner with the most breathtaking views - you can't beat it. Similar to the check-in process, Devan provided us some flexibility on the drop-off process and was very clear with the instructions. We filled up the gas tank, unpacked back to our suitcases and then were on our way (after a nice chat with Devan about the trip). Devan really was a fantastic host and made the experience pretty seamless from his end. All in all, this van was great and allowed us to experience places in a fun and unusual way! I look forward to my next trip already - we would 100% rebook!
