Watermark is a restaurant located at the back of Pier15- Every season they'll change their decor. The way they hook up the place- is like you can't imagine. As we are currently in Summer now- the theme is Beach, From Palm trees, live DJ, & lots of selfie spots you're going to think you in Miami. Its great for any celebration, event or gathering that you're planning. In my scenario we were celebrating my Step Dad's Birthday. & it went like this.... Literally same day. First to make a reservation at 7pm for 4 people just in case because my Step-Dad was at work and we wasn't sure what time he'd come home. Although, he got home early we decided to leave an hour earlier in hopes they would let us in. We also took a cab because parking over there is not the best unless you get LUCKY! Getting there a whole hour before our reservation time the hostess was able to find us a table. But, WE HAD A PROBLEM!! (Tuntuntun) I have no idea what was happening but a bunch of Little White Flies were swarming around the area they sat us in. I saw my families face and immediately knew i had to do something. We came to have a good time not be annoyed. So i asked our waiter if she could please find another seat for us. Being that you have to put a card on file for security purposes and pay out whatever we had ordered with her, She was able to solve the problem, Thank God!! It was a bummer to switch tables and our waiter but i can say i give those ladies a 10/10 customer service. The flies had calmed down in that area and everybody was able to enjoy themselves. Proceeding...As hot as it was we cooled off with their delicious alcoholic beverage . The food was durable but not super filling. If you go make sure you're willing to spend because you will end up getting something else to eat. The music was fantastic and had us turnt up. At the end i asked our first waiter if she would be able to maybe do something special for him ( like sing haply birthday) and she said " of course, ill speak to your waiter and let her know" I honestly loved that. No rudeness, no attitude, or no feeling a way. She did just that and let me just say 20 out of 10 for those ladies, they came through!!! From the vibes to singing to the little sparklers & delicious cake, ugh! They dont know how much I appreciate them for making him feel good. He had a smile from ear to ear lmao. And of course ya cant forget the pictures on your way out. We stood another 20 mins just taking pictures lol. If you didn't get a chance to go during the Summer i highly still recommend going during Fall or Winter. Just keep in mind they will change it to the season. read more

IMMACULATE vibes here. I highly suggest making a reservation before hand as I've seen many tables already reserved and it does get busy after 6pm. Thankfully we did and as our first time at Watermark it was such a wonderful experience. Not only were the servers great and patient the food and drinks here were amazing ! For three girls to leave a bit tipsy and full for just under 200$ is unheard of in nyc. Some would expect the food to be mediocre but it definitely wasn't when you know what to order ! Food: We ordered the Mexican street corn, nothing too amazing it's just your usual street corn on the cob. Comes halved so you get two pieces on a stick , coated with cheese and was a delicious chaser for your drinks Truffle fries, crunchy salty cheesy what else do you need ? I will be honest here and confess that I actually came here wanting the truffle fries only. Seeing photos online had drawn me in and it definitely did not disappoint. Lobster wonton tacos. Amazing amazing amazing dish. the purple cabbage slaw was vinegary and cut through the rich lobster perfectly. The crunchy taco shell and the large pieces of lobster salad , highly recommend this dish! Now the star of tonight was an unexpected one. The Cesar salad with chicken blew all of us away because of its unexpected charm! This year was a salad and fries year and watermarks salad was impeccably delicious. Light salty and crunchy ! Went to Pier 15 and stopped by this place for a quick snack and drink. Actually the ambience was super good . Lots of tables inside to sit and eat . Fantastic view of Brooklyn bridge from this place . Bar was smalll and had very less options . Surprisingly there wasn't any beer on tap or lager options . They just had a couple of versions of IPAs and it was in can . A can costed about 12$ !!! Very expensive ... really wished they had much better options . Had some table games and the whole place was colorful. Good spot but expensive, and not much of options . Average experience . 3 stars good service read more

I had a great time at Watermark for my friends birthday! The music was popping. The crowd was fun. The food was good! The staff were accommodating to us. I would go back! Pros: good music (except when they changed dj later on). Good impossible burger - tasty. Birthday sparkler surprise is always fun. I would recommend paying for the birthday package. I paid $100 for 6 shots; the staff coming out with the board and sparklers; and two captain hats. My friend loved it! Cons: Drinks were okay, a usual city drink ( not too strong). My drinks were $17 bucks a piece. An upcharge for patron. The cheapest of all the upcharges. Somehow came out to $78 bucks for 3 drinks which means about $26 bucks per drink. The math isn't mathing. Drinks were good. Service was ok. Not super attentive but it was busy for a Friday night. read more

One of the best places to experience Christmas festivities is New York City! Hands down! I love it, and going to Watermark just added to the special time of year! First, I took myself on a solo date to the Industry Kitchen, which had cutely decorated private igloos with their own heater. The staff here was great! I ordered spiked hot cider, which was good, and a small plate of lobster wonton shell tacos, which was interesting. I liked it. After I finished grabbing a bite, I walked to The Santa Clauses' Wonderland at Watermark and marveled at the beauty of the water with the Christmas decor. Paid for general admissions at the wonderland, which came with a Santa hat and tasty hot chocolate (that you grab from the bar). The tour of the place was very short but cool to see. I went up the stairs to sip on my hot cocoa and was able to see the bridge, water, and decor! The wonderland was not what I expected from what I saw on social media. When I went to book the expensive reservations (that did not include food), thankfully it was sold out because I wasn't expecting to see such congestion and little room to eat in the igloos. I'm glad I went to Industry Kitchen first. read more

So my goddaughter and I went to the Santa's winterland workshop. And surprisingly we had a wonderful time. But admittedly it's because they have A LOT of photo activations. What they didn't have a lot of is space. It seems everything is right next to each other. So at one point I wasn't sure which line I was in. But the fire pit in the middle was very necessary cause it was sooooo cold. Then to my surprise for $7 (plus tax) you could buy a s'mores bag. I never thought I would enjoy a s'mores as much as I did. It was so good. They also have the igloos you could reserve and sit in and eat. But we weren't that hungry. I bought the tickets during the Black Friday sale so they were 15% off which was great. We also got there early enough to avoid the evening rush. So we truly got to enjoy each activation. It was really nice for a holiday treat. Ohhhh and the package we got was the VIP don't came with a crappy Santa hat, but the spiked hot chocolate was very welcomed Too bad it was cold. Sigh. But overall for the discounted price, it was fun and we enjoyed it and had a good time. This is more of a review about Bucketlisters with The Watermark than just the watermark. I'm SO extremely disappointed with this $800 activity/dinner reservation. Everything about how OVERPRICED and SCAMMY this is, should've been made more clear! But then it wouldn't have been as scammy. I will happily pay $800 for something that has all that I expected. Seeing Santa, having photos taken in a bunch of fun scenes & eating a wonderful dinner. But none of those things were included in my $800. Be VERY careful to contact someone before you purchase your tickets if you have your heart set on this. I received an email later, AFTER I had already purchased the non-refundable tickets, that Santa will only be there on certain dates that wasn't ours. The food, is ok. Not great but not terrible. But it's definitely not worth $800!! They give you some free make-your-own s'mores and some super cheap Santa hats. They do take photos of you in the only real photo opp available, the fireplace, but then they ask you to pay $20 per photo!!!!!! After you already let them fleece you! I could have paid $200 more and had an AMAZING dinner at Per Se!! ‍ Watermark & Bucketlisters, you should be ashamed of yourselves for disappointing actual children and stealing from their families. This place is very cute, right by the water and you will be in your own personal igloo. Our server was Mason and he was great! He came to check on us regularly and was super nice. I ordered the sliders and French fries, the beef was overcooked and a bit too dry but the fries were good. The consensus from the table was that the food was decent but not anything amazing. I was shopping in the area near the pier and began looking for a place to eat that served raw oysters. My stomach was growling so I didn't want to take up too much time looking. Saw this spot in my vicinity and decided to go. The seating is outside facing the water. Music was a tad bit too loud but that was expected for the type of restaurant it is. I order 1/2 dozen raw oysters, a medium cooked burger and truffle fries. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The burger came with aioli sauce and while delicious was not medium as I requested. The truffle fries...this ticked me off. I don't think this establishment knows what truffles fries are. They are not regular French fries topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and parsley bits. Truffle fries are fries that have been lightly tossed in truffle oil and then topped with Parmesan cheese and parsley bits. There was no truffle oil used at all. If you're going to charge $16 then I EXPECT actual truffle oil on my fries. The last straw was the automatic gratuity of $10. I prefer to pay gratuity based on service an in cash. I understand there's crappy patrons who don't tip but it's also not their job to pay your employees a decent wage. Tipping is a choice. On the fence about coming back here again. If I do, I'll be sure to order regular fries. read more

It's best to think of Watermark as a Beer Garden with some occasional food options. If you go into it with that expectation, your priorities will be in the right place. Service is more on the "call me if you need me" end of the spectrum so don't expect to be checked on all the time. The less complicated your order is (like just a beer or something poured from a prepared tap or bottle) the faster you're likely to get it. All that being said, the views are lovely, they run promotions often, and they like to party and pack a crowd. If that's your vibe, this is the place for you. If you were hoping for some relaxed vibes, attentive service, craft cocktails, or gourmet eats... there are other options nearby for that. Honestly, could've had a fancy meal elsewhere. Ended up getting Shake Shack after. A BLAST was had this Labor Day weekend! Watermark Bar is another bookmark of mine and it was an all around excellent experience. I was with two friends hanging out at The Seaport and one of them went online and got us free tickets for this place. After a very light bag and I.D. check, we were let in for a good time. The first thing that grabbed me was a deliciously smoky, food aroma. I looked to my left and chefs were grilling tacos. All of the seats and tables were taken so we ordered tacos and drinks, grabbed a number and waited by the water for our order. A server bought out to-go bags. We were allowed to leave Watermark, go upstairs where there was plenty of seating (and the most amazing views) and enjoy our tasty items. My steak tacos were scrumptious. The taco shell was crispy and doughy, steak was tender and the cilantro was fresh. My drink pouch was full of tequila and fruit and pretty darn good. We made our way back downstairs to Watermark, with no problem being let back in. Once inside, the music was great! Hip hop, R&B, Soca, Dancehall, Reggaeton etc. The crowd was LIT. We danced, laughed, ordered lemon drops and danced some more. I left Watermark feeling like I had just had a night in Miami. Everything is outside. Make reservations ahead of time if you can't handle being on your feet. I will be returning for more fun and tacos! read more

It was the perfect summer Saturday and I said let me be a good boyfriend today (lol) and take my girlfriend out on a date. For the longest we've been wanting to come to the watermark, so we got dressed and drove to the city btw parking was treacherous next time we shall take the train lol. We made reservations and upon our arrival I was amazed by the photo-op beach setups, whoever thought of that shoutouts to you. It felt like a little escape from the concrete jungle we call Manhattan, the music was pumping due to the live Djay, the crowd of people was lively, eating and drinking. The staff was very friendly and upbeat, they kept the energy coming at all times. I started off with the Cocobay slushy and she had the frose. Both drinks were unique in a good way, flavorful , and packed a punch. We then ordered the Mango margarita and the pina colada that did not disappoint. For food we ordered the three cheese Mac, that I recommend everyone to get , it was cheesy and tasty. The impossible burger was ok it could've had a bit more added toppings on it. The coconut shrimp was delicious I wanted more but I said let's not be greedy lol. The shrimp skewers were amazing as well. After being seated for about 2-3 hrs we left the dining section and headed over to the open area by the bar where we occupied a stand up table. We danced, laughed, interacted with several people and had more drinks. We couldn't believe it by time we checked it was almost 11pm and we got there at 1:30pm. It was one of our most fun outings. Watermark is definitely the place to be, it's a bit pricey but you'll enjoy every minute of it. read more

Came here for a friend's birthday and had a great time. Here is the full run-down: The location: Obviously prime real estate with great views of the city. A large portion of the tables were reserved or VIP, but you could still walk in and order a drink from the bar. The bar is at the end of the pier and bathroom is a long walk to the beginning of the pier. There are two bathrooms for everyone, and thus there is often a line, so prepare ahead. I liked that you could take your drink to the end of the pier and sit on the steps as well. The drinks: I didn't drink that day, but my friends enjoyed their drinks. They have these cool Capri Sun type packages packages for their cocktails. I ordered water and they tried to charge me $5. I was a bit annoyed by that. The crowd: Definitely a mix, but if you come with a group of friends, it doesn't matter. The music: Fun mix of upbeat tracks/genres, but the DJ only stayed on each song for about 30 seconds before mixing out, so it was a bit hard to enjoy if you were getting into the song. The vibe: We were there during Oktoberfest and we got a front row seat to a beer holding contest, which was fun. Overall recommend and would return. read more

Absolutely loved my first experience at Watermark so much that I had to revisit! I brought my other girl friend with me on a Sunday when they opened at 12pm. The staff are so welcoming and we were seated promptly. I noticed they put up cute floaties on the grass wall this time. Perfect for photo-ops! A staff member brought us cold water and cups. It did take a bit of time for the waitress to come since all the reservations were coming in. I'd advise you to make a reservation to assure you get a table. Our waitress was really nice and took our drink orders. Our drinks came quickly. I raved about the Kiwi West tropical pouch I got during my first visit so much that my friend wanted the same thing. She loved it! It was just as good as it was the first time. We put in our food orders. I had the apps (Margherita pizza, Chips & Dips, Truffle Fries) the first time I visited and they were all good but we were both craving burgers. We ordered the Surf & Turf Beach Burger (unfortunately fries are sold separate). While we waited for that we decided to take pictures. You could really take a picture anywhere there because the umbrellas and the grass walls are so photo worthy. By the time we came back our food came. The burger was DELICIOUS. We both kept talking about how tasty it was. Flavors were all there and it was cooked the temperature we asked for. We ate it all. I love how they had a live DJ there! He was playing a mix of pop, r&b, and reggaeton. The party seemed to start around 1:30pm so we ordered another round of drinks. This time we wanted to try some frozen margaritas. I had the passion fruit flavor and my friend had watermelon. DRINKS ARE 10/10! My flavor was so refreshing on the hot summer day. After dancing a little we went to the seating area above the pier where you get an even nicer view of everything. I will say the prices are a bit steep but that is expected from NY. Also the bathrooms are in another area located in the building next to you as you are walking to Watermark. Sometimes you'll need to ask staff for the code if it's locked. Got on th AST line towards Dumbo but missed it so ended up on the last stop of the NYC ferry at Pier 11. Decided to stop by the Watermark Bar in Pier 15. Vibe is kind of hawaiian feel, with free leis on the entrance. They offered us a table by the restaurant but it's available for like 30 minutes since they're having an event. So we decided to get the cocktail pouches, beer, truffle fries and the carne asada tacos. Brought it to the wooden benches facing the water and just enjoy watching the boats passing by. Food was good, on the pricier side i guess but considering the view and location, it justifies the price i guess. Truffle fries for $15, carne asado tacos for $19, the cocktail pouches $19 and a can of beer plus 18% gratuity as standard add on, total bill comes out like $75. read more

I came for the first time today with my family and we had a blast. It gives Miami vibes and I lovvvvvve Miami. Such a cute place for a nice summer nigjt. The drinks are great. The food is good not great but still a super fun spot to be. It's right near the water. Our server Lizzie was amazing! She made sure we were good every step of the way. The only thing I hated about the place is that there's no bathroom.
