Great outdoor view! One of the most standout aspect of this place is the outdoor seating. It's right on the pier, so you can see the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge. The other is the Mon - Wed all day happy hour! We went during the Oktoberfest promotion, where the mini kegs pictured were $50. It had about 8-10 pints each keg. The food was average and on the smaller side, so I'd consider it overpriced if not during Happy Hour prices. Service was also pretty average, nothing too stand out. I'm giving this a 4 star because the night we had our reservations for a group of 16 year olds for their birthdays an unexpected storm blew through the city. High winds and rain made for a cold and miserable experience that if we didn't have one another we probably would have been crying. The food was decent and the drinks were good. The rain was soooooo bad that during dinner the roof was dripping on us, not good. We had heaters in the tents but that just took the chill out because once you warmed up the wait staff came in and the wind sucked the heat right out, it was insane. During my lunch break I finally got to eat this restaurant outdoor dining, which is heated. Proof of vaccination was required. I had a hour lunch break but service was pretty slow. The truffle grilled cheese sandwich with fries hit the spot and it was definitely an elevated grilled cheese sandwich. A quick stop here for some happy hour oysters on my birthday. They were fresh but small in size, and the hot, humid weather didn't help. The service was slow due to a private party but good overall when we did receive it. Unfortunately, there was no ac or some fan, or enough shade to keep everyone cool. Came here for a Cinco de Mayo celebration with a big group. It was... decent. Tacos were pretty good and the margs were nice, but everything was super pricy. I think the lighting was not good enough to fully take advantage of being right by the water, and there should've been more heat lamps as we all got really cold. I think my biggest issue was the music. There was so much American pop / hip hop / etc playing - it's Cinco de Mayo!! It kinda made for a weird vibe. Service was nice and did their best on a super crowded day. We did have to ask for things many times, but ultimately they got us sorted out if we were missing anything. I ordered a salted caramel cheesecake ($14) and thought it was okay. It didn't taste fresh or homemade but, like a boxed cake. The service was okay. They didn't really check in on us and the food took awhile to come. When the food did come all at once and the food was already cold instead of being warm. The person who came to take empty plates kept trying to take things that still had food or wine. The restaurant also doesn't have it's own bathroom. There is a public bathroom when you enter the pier and the lines are usually long. The restaurant has okay bar food but, most people come for the airy ambience and the view. You can reserve one ahead of time (and pay), or you can be seated in one upon arrival, if available. The price of your admission ticket includes hand warmers (much needed in the dead of winter); however your glasshouse IS heated. Watermark is an outdoor venue with a live Dj, cabanas and standing tables. They have menus to order drinks and food. The most cost effective is to choose one of the food and drink packages. I went to Watermark to celebrate my sister in law's bachelorette party. My cousin booked a cabana for our large group. It is greatly encouraged to book ahead if you want to guarantee you have a cabana. The only requirement is a $100 deposit left to book which is applied to the spending when you are there. The cabanas do require that you spend $1000 when there. Since our group was about 15 people split that many ways it wasn't too bad. I didn't part take in the drinks since I wasn't able to have any alcohol at the time being 7 months preggo at that point, but all the girls said they tasted amazing. I was able to eat the food offered in the package and everything was delicious. We had wings, fries, mac n cheese, guac/ salsa and chips, tacos and sliders just to name a few things. The food was nice, hot and fresh. I would come back for the wings alone. We went in the mid afternoon and it wasn't too bad as in the size of crowds. When we were leaving we notice that there were more people coming later on. If it is busy, it can be a little crowded between the cabanas and the standing area. They gave us free "truffle" fries bc we complained (it took us about 30 sec to walk through the whole "experience")... but even those aren't good. Didn't taste like truffle. Just garbage all around. BEWARE. I was scammed by this establishment and would give this place zero stars if I could. They charged me $30 just to enter and $75 to get a table, FOOD NOT INCLUDED, promising to provide an interactive Winter Wonderland experience. But when you enter, there's nothing here. Not even Santa. You can literally have the entire "experience" in less than a minute. Which includes flimsy lights literally thrown over some Christmas trees, which aren't even strung around the tree properly. It looks like someone accidentally dropped a string of lights on top of the trees, see photos! And if you're coming here for photo opps, there are barely any. Only an extremely shoddy snow globe that looks like a school project and a creepy looking fake fireplace that looks unfinished. You can even see in the picture that the snow globe is WRINKLED. The "Winter Wonderland" mostly just consisted of tents to eat in, which you have to purchase for $75 not including food. Industry Kitchen has the exact same tents for FREE across the street. And so do numerous other restaurants in NYC. But at Watermark, they are charging $75 in addition to over priced food. The fries tasted like cardboard. I tried to make the most of it and took the two pictures that I could but this experience was definitely a scam. Go see the Rockefeller Tree or The Saks light show instead, much better experiences in NYC that don't even cost money. This establishment needs to be shutdown for scamming people. read more

I've had so many good times here. I love their seasonal themes. It's like a nice surprise each time as they are constantly changing up the scene and atmosphere in such creative ways, along with new specialty drinks and dishes that are actually pretty good. The smores-type bourbon cocktail (forgot the name) is my favorite drink so far. The staff are always so fun and attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. Just to name a few, Darlene, Gil, Keja and Elvis are amazing and gives nothing but good vibes. Oh and if that isn't enough, it's located on Pier 15 so it's surrounded by the scenic views of the east river and nyc skylines. Considering admission is required to dine here amongst the holiday decor and the bill for food and drinks is a separate expense, the experience at Watermark's Winter Wonderland is costly. Add to that a timely and difficult process to check in and the minimal photo opportunities, I cannot justify or recommend this spot for anyone's holiday experience. The service once you're seating for dining was excellent however the food options and quality are not worth the calories. Food (3/5): The signature Siren drink looks cool at first but it's just a frozen margarita in a glorified pitcher at the end of the day. Not only that but the drink itself was just average and not especially well made. In terms of the food, they were pretty good as snacks. My favorite would be the onion rings, but everything else like the burger and crab cake was just OK and not particularly fresh. Meanwhile, the shoestring fries tasted like it was microwaved and the vegetables to match the hummus wasn't particularly fresh. Venue (3/5): It's a cool and chill venue with beautiful waterfront views. It definitely has as lot of great potential, but a few things ruin it. Our group got one of the cabanas and the table was unusually large, creating an awkward space and large area in the center of the table that can't be used to put any food that's reachable. Additionally, the bathroom was very poorly maintained and the way it was structured resulted in long lines. Came here on as Sunday afternoon and our server Raymond was very attentive. We got the hamburger mini sliders, guac and chips, margarita, and a beer. The hamburger sliders were really good but the guac and chips were kind of okay. The beer was really refreshing, perfect for the sliders and guac. You also have to get your own water from a water cooler. The food was tasty but over priced. I'm Really disappointed with this place. I will say the manager and server were nice. However, the food was mediocre for the price being paid. You pay 75 for a table reservation separately and then they tag it on to the final bill and once they "take it off" they force you to tip on the total including the reservation. I felt like I was ripped off, I'm happy to tip but man. Our dinner in total was around 81 and the tip ended up being 31$ (40%) and it was included in the bill. There are better places to go in nyc.
