I went to watershed to grab some drinks after dinner on a 60 degree evening in the winter. A gift, to say the least. It's an open heated rooftop bar above cross street market. The setup is cute there were people playing corn whole when you first get to the top of he steps, there are long tables with benches, the decor gives upscale park. I would give the visual appearance a 5/5. The service at watershed was terrible, the bartenders were mostly men and there was not a pleasant one behind that bar. To be clear the bar was not busy. It was no where near a packed house. Yet everyone was waiting to be serviced. So much so that two women literally were waiting so long that they got into a verbal exchange with one of the bartenders. The service reeks of "you're here so what do you need". It was not a good experience at all. I literally sat at the bar as a man had to spell his name 3 times to a bartender. Culture compétence is apart of service. This was also after one of the bartenders loudly asked "does this guy have a tab" to another bartender, after being told a last name he seemingly couldn't understand. Atlas group should strongly consider diversity, equity, and inclusion in their hiring practices. For the bar to be the main event there it was underwhelming based off the people behind it. Maybe it was just an off night, but I can't say I would recommend it at this time. The experience was very cringy. read more

My first visit to Watershed was great! We went to watch the Ravens vs Commanders pre season game so we expected it to be crowded and were patient enough to wait. Despite how busy it was, all of our orders arrived quickly and were still hot and freshly prepared. Our server and the hostess were very nice and attentive. The grapefruit crush was delicious! The fried red snapper was good, although it could've been seasoned better so I did end up using a lot of hot sauce and mustard lol. But it was cooked well! I didn't think the chimichurri was the best sauce to pair it with. I preferred something spicier and more thick in consistency. My favorite dish of the evening was the cream of crab soup, please get it if you go! My bf enjoyed his lobster, I tasted some and it was delicious especially with the butter. It's a good neighborhood hangout got Atlas Group. Food could be a tad better maybe. I had a 30 dollar Salmon Cesar Salad and it was Good but could have used a larger piece of salmon. He had the steak and eggs (we came for brunch) no go. I should have taken a picture of it but it looked good just no real flavor. Prob should come off the menu. Eggs were a little government like , shedded potato looked like it should have been packed full of flavor but nah. Good service pretty much every time u come. Margarita 4 Atmosphere 3.5 Food 3 First time back since the change to Watershed...the restaurant offers a classy and modern atmosphere. The waitstaff was welcoming and attentive. There was "live music" on a Monday night that was an acoustic performer. It wasn't too loud and he was pleasant to listen to. We sat at the bar and were able to carry on a conversation without having to yell. The oysters were respectable but the reason for 3/5 stars is the quality of the crab. For the price of the Cobb salad ($22) topped with crab, the crab was less than impressive. The overall vibe of the restaurant and above average prices for Fed Hill, I would expect better tasting crab - specially in Maryland. The taste of the she crab soup was excellent, but again, the quality of the crab left something to be desired - it was almost mushy. I would revisit for the oysters. read more

The vibes are good here. We came sometime last year. The food was good then but my roasted chicken was undercooked. This time around, my husband and I sat at the bar down stairs. It was very busy and took a little while for someone to take care of us. There was also a large birthday party parallel to the bar. However once our bartender/waiter came he was very attentive and even toasted a drink with us. We had crab dip, wings, roasted veggies and fish tacos. Pretty awesome place. I happen to come across it leaving Mother's in Federal Hill. This a restaurant with rooftop pavilion connected to a local market towards the rear of the restaurant. Very nice decor. Staff were great. The bartenders were pretty nice. The rooftop bar is very lively... very crowded. It is clearly a place to go for drinks and food fare after work. Came here with friends on a busy Friday night. The service was quick and the staff were friendly- the overall atmosphere was fun despite the place being packed the whole time we were there. My friends and I got crab dip- for someone who doesn't like crab dip, this was pretty good! Although for $24, it felt a little overpriced given how little bread/veggies came with it. I also got a cheesesteak with fries; fries were delicious but cheesesteak was definitely too salty and there wasn't much else to it beside a slice of tomato and lettuce. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend it- great for a night out with friends. Watershed is a fun, cool, hip, see and be seen spot. Downstairs is more laid back, upstairs/outside is where the action happens. Of course my girlfriend and I chose upstairs for our Friday, get a drink after work visit...insert smile. We sat at the bar, which is great for people watching. Drinks were very good. Orange Crush for me was a decent size for $9. There's a large 32oz for $20. My friend had the Honey Pot, Vodka, honey, raspberry and a couple other juices. Hers was a fruity drink, tasty drink, $12. She loved her oysters, and that you can order them single or as many as you'd like. They were fresh and flavorful. $4 per oyster. We both thought that was a little high. We usually pay $2-3 per oyster. Crab Egg Rolls were my pick. $19. The aioli sauce for dipping made the dish! Spicy, yummy, goodness! Egg rolls were good. The sauce made them great! Crab fries for $21 was the only dish we were Meh about. Fries were baked, then topped with bacon, corn, a bit of cheese and a bit of crab meat. A good dish but not worth even close to $21. I really like Watershed, despite the prices. I can see myself bringing friends from out of town, girls night out, Happpy Hour. Such a beautiful space, inside and out, but I expect that from new construction. I'd been meaning to visit this establishment for some time and made a point to go last weekend. Since it was a nice day, my friend and I wanted to sit outside in the fantastic upstairs outdoor bar, and we did. We were able to find 2 seats fairly easily and were immediately greeted by a bartender. In short order I had a Heavy Seas beer and my friend had a very pretty cocktail. The bartenders were attentive and our drinks were regularly refreshed. Pricing on drinks was good. And again, the space was amazing. The drawback was the people. A lot of young "bros" and thirsty girls, which isn't my wheelhouse since I'm a middle-aged woman. So while I'd like to spend more time at Watershed, it may not be the move for me. Or perhaps I just need to be seated inside. I'll test that theory. read more

My friend and I were bar hopping for her birthday. We needed a chill spot to grab a drink and relax. The watershed seemed perfect as it was a nice night. We went upstairs and had no problem getting a seat early on a Tuesday night. The hostess was pleasant enough and our server came over after about 5 minutes or so. We both ordered our drinks which seemed simple enough. I am a classic whiskey drinker and was informed that they didn't have my go to. Normally I wouldn't mind but it was listed on their drink menu and I would label the watershed as a somewhat upscale establishment based on ambiance and pricing. I changed drinks with no hassle and ordered my friend one as well. The rooftop is a very cool vibe and nice place to hang out and drink. I have had the food and in my opinion seems a bit overpriced for the taste and flavor. The drinks are a bit pricey but being from Baltimore City, it's a nice crowd. I think that's really what you pay for. I'll be honest and say I don't love the music they play but it's not so loud you can't catch up with friends or get to know a date. All in all this is my second time hanging out and I'll probably go back to maybe watch a game and drink. I don't know that it will be a go to for dinner read more

I came to Watershed with a few friends for their first weekend of opening. Although we could tell that they needed to smooth out a few rough edges in terms their service, the atmosphere was a 10 out of 10. The Manager, Tyler, did a great job at keeping the vibes up. When he realized that we were waiting a while to get our food, he dropped by our table and delivered us complimentary lemon drops. Go Tyler. As for the food, in typical Atlas Group fashion, it did not disappoint. I ordered the crab fries and the crab cake sandwich. They smacked. Plenty of meat in both dishes. The rooftop bar is spacious and elevated (literally and figuratively). It feels like a chic DC rooftop bar rather than one in Fed Hill. The servers were all very friendly and helpful. The drinks were pretty pricey and the two we had weren't great. We ordered a bunch of oysters and they were very good, the Fanny Bay are definitely my favorite, but the Blue Points and Saltponds were delicious, too. A nice spot to enjoy a warm sunny day on the roof patio! Enjoyed the happy hour drinks (Lemon Crush for me!). We had the loaded crab fries which were awesome. Generous amounts of toppings which is great considering the price. I also tried the fish tacos which is the only reason I went with 4 stars. The salad that came with it was AMAZING. Idk what this dressing is but I need it in my life. I got the fried fish tacos though and the fish was very crunchy/dry. I ended up putting some of my salad and dressing in the taco to offset the fish. Otherwise it's a neat spot with great ambiance and awesome outdoor seating! read more

I went to the Watershed this past weekend for brunch and sat on the rooftop. The rooftop is definitely a vibeeeee, it didn't feel like I was local. I got crab cake benedict which was tastey. That crabcake was seasoned so well. However, a few things through me off: 1. The benedict did not come with an english muffin and I'm not sure why. That's what a benedict is, so why not serve it with a English muffin. 2. I always get scrambled eggs instead of poached, and they served my scrambled eggs on a separate plate instead of putting it ON the benedict. A benedict is never served separately like that. So I had to assemble my own benedict with a requested English muffin and the scrambled eggs. That was frustrating because now my hands are messy and I'm doing work that should have been done in the kitchen. Nevertheless, it was good. read more

When I inquired about it the rude slow bartender tossed the menu at me and told me to look at the prices. burger was below average as well.... Dry and cold by the time I finally went to the hostess 20 min after trying to get the bartenders attention and got condiments. They were more worried about making themselves drinks and tasting everything that went out than servicing the guest. Never again don't waste your time or money. I love some of the Atlas group restaurants so I gave it a try despite of the average reviews. I'll stick to what I know next time. read more

~ Watershed has always been solid with the drinks, therefore, I've decided to give the food a try. I ordered the blue crab egg rolls, watershed wings & oyster Rockefeller for appetizers. The wings were on point & will def be added to my "places to get wings from". Crab egg rolls were decent. Nothing to make you remember. I've had better from multiple restaurants. While the oyster Rockefeller was the worse for me. They were too mushy and tasted like can beefaroni. Weird taste. For my main dish, I ordered the lobster roll with Mac & cheese. Once again, nothing to be super excited about, but it's enough that you'll be pleased. Loch Bar's lobster roll is better tho. Beautiful restaurant tho. Wonderful people that are there to socialize and have fun. The best part of this sit was my bartender Sunny. She def made some bomb drinks & introduced me to white tea shots, which were on the house. The rooftop dining area was phenomenal. Absolutely enjoyed the ambiance. Their was a bit of a wait to be served even though their weren't many people there. The food was decent but I will say that I really enjoyed the crabcake. Alot of spots that I've been to have a lot of filler but this one didn't and I appreciate that considering the price. Overall, I don't think I would get food here but I would definitely grab drinks on the rooftop. read more
