Menu as of 10/8/25

Got here about 5pm, was starting to fill up. I order the Asian chicken rice bowl. Kristen was my waitress and very pleasant to order from! I thought the table top was a bit sticky? Ordered the Asian Chicken Rice bowl which was pretty good with large strips of tender chicken and vegetables in it. I ordered the sauce on the side and could've gotten two little cups instead of the one. The rice noodles were Tad on the heavy side and I did not end up eating those. But they had a good crunch to them, I had coffee and Kristen was pretty punctual and getting refills to me. I think the plates were all a little on the high side, but what isn't nowadays since Covid! I'm attaching picture of my dish and two pictures of the menu. I would come back to this place even with the prices as they are.

Poor attempt at Waterstone's version of Chicken Marsala- absolutely disgusting
Judie C.

Went for my Bday-Our spinach dip appetizer was excellent then received my meal of Chicken Marsala (which wasn't how It is prepare) that was coated in hard burnt bread crumbs The waitress took it away & got me a new one this time that was now soaked in grease & added to the old 1st serving of rock hard roasted potatoes Barely got to enjoy our meals since the waitress came to our table every 2min for something or to check on us after we already said several times that we were ok. When I was still trying to eat she reached over me to scape others plates at the table Told her to just to leave the boxes so we can do it, but she insisted on continuing to do this & said "I Got it" when I already requested her Not to- So now aggravated I told her just to take my meal & box it up then my husband asked for the check cause he saw that I was irritated But she continued on asking if we wanted dessert-again we said The Check Please but she still went on naming every dessert on the menu then asked if o wanted another glass of wine?! Called the manager afterwards about my dinner quality & the overkill service that ruined our dinner enjoyment & conversation, which he barely even offered a half sincere apology for with ZERO explanation or attempt of compensation to keep us as customers to try again- then hung up on me! Have no idea how this place is still in business

Lemon cheese cake
Rebecca W.

Our server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu, including the drink specials. The food was amazing. We ordered the dinner for 2 for $59. I got the bourbon apple glazed pork chops, and they were Delicious, my husband ordered the chicken parm and said it was excellent. We had the ranch potato wedges, which were covered in cheese and bacon for an appetizer, and each got a salad. We shared the lemon cheese cake for dessert. This was our 1st time here, but it won't be our last. The place was also decorated very nicely for the holidays.

That can often mean high noise…read morelevels as others have noted, modern restaurant construction seems to put acoustics at the bottom of the priority list. That said, I did not find it overly loud, just loud enough where you had to raise your voice slightly. Enough about that. Johnson's Landing has a Lenten fish fry special, $20 for a full fish fry with sides, and this includes one of their specialty beers. This is a good deal to get a craft beer included with your fish fry. I actually ordered it to go and enjoyed the beer while waiting for the fish to take out. It was a very solid fish dinner, the batter was crispy, not oily. The fish was fresh, all of the sides were good, even the rye bread was a nice hearty thick cut of rye. The mac salad featured tuna, which I do like. And the fries were hot and tasty. The fish itself was not huge but was big enough for us. Every component of the fish fry dinner was on point. The barmaid was efficient and friendly, I did not have to wait. My only complaint is that they do not list beer prices on their menu, which was fine this time since it was included with the meal, but would prevent me from enjoying a stop on the way home for a beer or two. I think it is a sneaky practice, but strangely I do note prices on their website, and guess what? All draft beers are $8 including Labatt Blue Light, unless the website is now outdated. ($8 for Labatt's!! Holy Moly!) I can see why it is not on the printed menu. I really don't like when there is not full price transparency, thus four stars instead of five. However I wholeheartedly endorse the value and quality of the Lenten fish fry special.

We went to the Mansard Inn for Easter Brunch. We had been there years ago for dinner and thought it…read morewas decent, and we had heard it had been refurbished since then. Unfortunately, that really wasn't our experience. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The entire place felt tired and dirty. The carpets looked heavily worn and stained, the booths had food stuck in the crevices, and overall it just didn't feel clean or well maintained. The dishes and drinkware didn't help. The coffee mugs, which were once white, were badly stained and dingy looking. My mother actually rubbed something off hers, and the waitress explained that it "wasn't dirty, just stained." Not exactly the best first impression, especially at $55 per person for brunch. We ordered mimosas after that, hoping things would improve, but even the champagne glasses looked questionable and were filled to noticeably different levels. Then the food arrived, and unfortunately it only got worse. Everything was served "family style," but there was no menu or explanation of what was coming. The meal felt random and poorly executed. Some highlights included: * A single store-bought pastry cut into pieces * Mac and cheese that tasted like boxed Velveeta * Deep-fried breakfast sausages * Ham that resembled warmed-up lunch meat * Three shrimp total for two people * A bowl of stew meat that felt completely out of place * An Eggs Benedict attempt that simply didn't work To make matters worse, some of the silverware and plates appeared dirty as well. By the end, we honestly couldn't wait to leave. The automatic $20 holiday service charge on top of the already expensive brunch really sealed the experience for us. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had in quite a while.

Overpriced, Unsanitary, and Unprofessional - A $500 Disaster…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent experience was truly appalling. We visited with a party of 11, including my 88-year-old grandfather. Despite the high price point--our bill was nearly $500--the standards of service and cleanliness were non-existent. The Issues: Accessibility & Cleanliness: There were zero handicap parking spots available. Inside, the restaurant was filthy; there was old food and trash under our booth, and the bathroom was in a state of neglect with toilet paper left on dirty surfaces rather than the holder. The Environment: We were greeted by stained, soiled paper menus and a swarm of fruit flies that stayed with us throughout the entire meal. Poor Service: We waited 50 minutes for basic dinner salads. My grandfather's coffee took 45 minutes to arrive. The waitress appeared visibly annoyed that she had to walk around our booth to serve us. Cheap Substitutes: For the price of a strip steak, you expect quality. Instead, we were served Aldi-brand steak sauce. When I asked for A1, I was handed a filthy, food-smeared bottle that was nearly empty. The "Refill" Incident: Our initial drinks were served half-empty. When we asked for refills, the waitress told us to finish our current glasses because they weren't free and she "didn't want to charge us." In the end, we were charged for them anyway. Overpriced Food: The French Onion soup is served in tiny metal bowls, not crocks. To top it off, we paid $22 for two "slices" of cheesecake to go--one of which was a literal sliver of cake. While the food itself was decent, no meal is worth this level of disrespect and lack of hygiene. I will never recommend this establishment.

When our entrées arrived, only four of the eight meals were brought to the table. We had to remind our server that the remaining meals were missing. About 10 minutes later, only three more meals arrived, leaving one person still without dinner. Once again, we had to ask for the final meal to be brought out. No one at the table should have to eat at different times because of such poor coordination. The food itself was also underwhelming. The steak fajitas were especially disappointing--they consisted of a few somewhat tough pieces of steak with no peppers or onions, which are basic ingredients for fajitas. The steak hoagie was similarly sparse, containing mostly shaved steak with very few vegetables. To make matters worse, the fries served with the meals were cold. Our appetizer was also mishandled. The charcuterie board arrived with salami, cream cheese, and cheese, but no bread or crackers. We had to ask for those to be brought out. We also had to request small plates because none were provided. Finally, throughout the meal, dirty dishes--including our appetizer plates--were never cleared from the table, leaving us surrounded by stacks of dishes until we were finished. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. Between the disorganized service, multiple forgotten items, cold food, and lack of attention to basic hospitality, we expected much better. Unfortunately, we won't be rushing back.
