Now I don't know if today was "National Be Nice to Leslie Day," but I was very impressed with my husband's and my lunch experience today at the Wawa on Rte 202 in Flemington, NJ. We had an electric car that needed a charge, and I told my husband we could grab a Shorti inside and have a picnic in the car while we waited. I asked him to show me how to use the kiosk. He did his order super fast. When it was my turn, I was amazed at all of the options. I decided to go for the Chipotle Chicken Wrap. When it was time to choose a drink, I went over to the coolers to pick something out. I was nostalgic for a V8 juice because that is what I used to get when I was in high school and would go dancing on Sunday nights. So I was looking up and down all the rows, and all of a sudden, a very nice employee asked me what I was looking for. She offered to go look in the back for a V8 for me. It was so nice of her to do that for me. While I was waiting there, there was a crew of first responders also picking up lunch. Every single person made eye contact and smiled! When the employee returned and said that there was no V8 juice, I said it was fine and thanked her for looking. We went to check out and the lady at the register was very friendly and wished us a nice day. Then another gentleman customer with a lot of nice hair held the door for us when we left the store. I asked my husband if people may have thought that we were celebrities. He said, "This must be just how things roll in Flemington." It was the nicest experience I have ever had at a Wawa. We went back to our car, thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and had a great afternoon driving home after that. So, thank you for being awesome, Flemington Wawa and surrounding community members! We will stop there again next time our travels take us that way. read more

Wawa is a great chain and this location is the best in the area. It has a gas station and the restrooms inside the store are clean and available for customers. The staff is friendly and helpful here. I've been very happy with the quality of the food here too. This location keeps the middle island with the prepared foods fresh and well stocked. They always provide at least 7 varieties of coffee and it's great coffee! Again, the station with milk/soymilk/sugar/stirrers and all that is consistently well stocked. The staff is always attentive to wiping down that area from everyone's sugar spills and milk dribbles, which is an endless task that I truly appreciate them doing. I have been here at least a hundred times over the years and I haven't ever seen this Wawa run out of anything! It's a busy store and they do an excellent job of keeping the napkins/utensils/condiments filled. My highest praise to all the hardworking people at this Wawa who make it a great customer experience! read more

The food recommend the hoagies it's hoagie heaven! Avoid the burgers, they suck! Indulge in a delicious chocolate milkshake once it was messed up, where I had to stir it wasn't fully stirred. Hot, thickly sliced roasted turkey, rich gravy, flavorful stuffing and just the right amount of cranberry sauce (I'm not a big fan of cranberry sauce and it is a good amount for me). I really should start coming to wawa more for more of my quick meals. They offer a lot of variety and they make it on the spot so it's not prepackaged. The prices are reasonable. At least you're not getting frozen fast food. They recently renovated this location and it seems bigger. So many choices for beverages from hot coffee to fountain drinks. This location is packed for the morning rush and the lunch rush but they do do a pretty good job moving the lines along. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

For some reason over the past few months whenever I stop in to Wawa and order A hoagie the employee who makes my hoagie slacks of to the extreme!!! Its either the hoagie like tonight is basically empty and missing nearly all of what I requested on it and for the hoagie to be toasted. Or finding the skin of an onion inside my hoagie or it tastes old. I can't seem to figure out why some of these workers slack. I don't understand why work a late shift if you're gonna pick and choose what customers you wanna fulfill their orders to the T and others you basically say screw you. Place was dark, tight, & dingy. Staff was rude and extremely cold. Never once did Lola and her sidekick ever make eye contact much less greeted me or anyone before me with a "Hello" or "Good Morning". All she did was give me a total. Never said, "$X.xx is your change." Or anything. Prices of the breakfast croissants were ridiculous for the lack of flavor. Whenever I'm in the area, I always stop in this Wawa. The coffee is always hot and fresh and they have a large assortments of flavors to choose from. Since it's fall I tried the dark roast coffee and I mixed it with the pumpkin flavored coffee. The sandwiches are freshly made to order. They have delicious homemade muffins and snacks. The corn and chocolate chip muffins are to die for... Everything in this store is neatly displayed and easy to find. The staff is always friendly and very efficient. Even when it's busy you never have to wait in a long line... They have a very large parking lot and areas for buses or big trucks.. The only thing I wish is that there was a Wawa store closer to my home... I can't wait to return and sample some more goodies! read more

I go to WaWa pretty often and I think overall it is a very good food place. I normally order Mac and cheese which can taste different depending on the day but is still amazing. There are definitely some foods on the menu that are not the best but the highlights make up for them. read more

This review applies to the customer service of the store, not the product quality or the gas sector of this location. I stopped by to get something done and on my way out, I went to the register to check my gift card balance. There were 2 cashiers on duty, "Lola" and some other woman whose name has slipped my mind but was at the other register and appears to be blonde and in her 50s. I politely asked how much money was left on my gift card, and the blonde woman told me in a VERY condescending tone that "there's still ten dollars on this card!" Listen, just because that card hasn't been used doesn't give you an excuse to talk down to your customers! I sometimes have multiple gift cards at once, and I could simply be checking the balance! My experience today is not what Wawa should be giving their customers, and I will not patronize this store if the two cashiers from today continue to behave in the way they are right now. read more

I love this Wawa! They are fast, friendly, and efficient. What more can you ask for in a Wawa! They have all the stuff you would expect from a Wawa: those awesome sandwiches, beverages galore (including thier signature jugs of ice tea), and tons and tons of junk food. However, they do carry some healthy stuff like celery sticks and hummus (not together, that would be weird... but maybe... no it would be weird) This location has a gas station, which usually has pretty good prices and the gas station attendants are always friendly. If I pass a Wawa it's usually pretty hard for me not to stop in. read more

At first I loved the premade sandwich and salad section and was so amazed at how good the chicken wraps were. After eating there and ordering from the computer a few times, I realized it was all fast food and how bad my body felt after eating there, even the healthier stuff. Wawa, as a whole, is a grand institution. Their sandwiches, coffee, drink selection, and service have set the bar high for gas station food. This location, however, has brought shame to the sacred Wawa name. Upon visiting at 6am on a weekend, there were no hash browns which are a staple of my weekend breakfast diet when I am in New Jersey. The mood was ruined, but nothing that could not be fixed with a delightful scratch ticket! Upon visiting the machine it did not accept my hard earned American currency. The machine was BROKEN! In a sense this is robbery, since that money could've been changed to thousands with a few simple scratches of my lucky coin. I trudged to the register, a broken shell of a man, ready to drown my sorry in coffee and a sausage on a waffle sandwich. The chip in my credit card had an issue and wouldn't read and the cashier was snippy with me. A real sour attitude. There's a Wawa on almost every corner in New Jersey and this is the one to skip. read more

This is a very nice Wawa. It's awesome that they sell gas and it's usually some of the cheapest in the area. Gas station attendants are fast to serve you, so it's pretty easy in and out. Also a fan of the surcharge free ATM. My main gripe with this place is that almost all of their exits/entrances are one ways so it's a bit of a pain to get in and out of this place. But, it's definitely worth it to save some money on gas. read more

I normally have a good experience at Wawa, however on Sept 19, 2015 at 10pm I came across the rudest and poorest example of an employee I'd ever encountered in a Wawa. I was so aggravated I did not get her name but she was working the night shift and appeared to be of African American or hispanic descent. While attempting to purchase a beverage she came over and began lecturing me on use of the syrups, milk and other beverage add-ons that are out for customer use. Never have I ever had an issue at any Wawa with using these items and I frequent Wawa. She then rudely and aggressively said they're for specialty beverages (whatever her definition of that is) and continued to attempt to condescend or whatever nonsense power trip she was having. If she is a manager that is a disgrace! I was so aggravated I left. I wish I had gotten her name because she deserves to be fired treating a regular customer with her poor attitude and demeanor.
