My experience at Wax, thread, and scissors in buckhead was not what i expected. This was my first wax ever, even though my results are impeccable (my kitty looks amazing) the girl was hella rude) I don't know her name but she was Hispanic. When i got there she told me i booked the appointment at the wrong location ( which i did not, i showed her my confirmation email with buckhead's location on it) then she felt stupid when i showed her! When we got back in the room she didn't talk to me at all and she was quick and kind of rough! She didn't offer me any tips on what to do after (especially after i told her it was my first time). Even tho my results were good i will not return there because of her attitude. If it wasn't for the internet and reviews i wouldn't know any aftercare information! read more

I stopped into this location, venturing away from my usual thread spot as it's right next to my apartment. My friend and I were immediately greeted warmly. My friend did the Nufree Brazilian and said it was the fastest and most pain free Brazilian she has ever had. I had my brows threaded and tinted. When I mentioned my left brow was slightly thinner than my right, they recommended a serum that they sold to put on my brows at night. It's been about two weeks and I can tell that my left brow is starting to fill in. The threading was perfect. The tint was good, I noticed some tint spots left on my face though so I had to scrub them off when I got home. Overall, I would say the experience was great. The only recommendation I would would be to have someone working the front desk/phones. The two workers there were really hustling but it was creating a less relaxing atmosphere and people were continuously waiting on them. I know overhead can be high for someone that isn't providing a service but I think it would go a long way here! I will definitely be back. read more

I have no idea how this place is so highly rated. I called before I went and asked about the pain of a nufree wax. The tech assured me that it was going to be less pain than hard wax, sugar or honey. So I get there and it basically feels like she's ripping off my skin. She then says oh I'll be gentle then continues to rip off large patches of hair instead of doing it in smaller pieces like she was trying to rush through it. She then tried to say because of my "condition" I had sensitive skin, but I'd had a sugar wax not too too long ago in the same "condition" and it didn't hurt nearly as bad. After about 3 or 4 large patches I asked her to just stop. Usually I can tolerate the pain of beauty, but after having been to other places something about her technique was alarming and didn't feel right. Now it is days later, my skin is still sore and I feel like some parts of my skin is infected. On top of that she completely overcharged me for a halfway job that looks horrible. WTS Kennesaw has been my regular location for threading for the past 2 years and Naurin has managed to take care of me and my eyebrows...love, love, love her!!! Because of that I have followed her to their new Buckhead location. I come here specifically for eyebrow threading and tinting on occasion. The tinting doesn't last as long for me because I love washing my face with water vs. makeup removal wipes but still love the look. Tinting lasts about 2 weeks for me and keeps me from having to fill in my brows every day. WTS is a great spot for a variety of needs and the staff is as attentive, precise, and detailed as the staff in Kennesaw. They are always professional and friendly while moving quickly to get everyone in and out. Parking is fine because this location has a huge parking lot it shares with other businesses. Overall, I have had many positive experiences with WTS and I feel fortunate to have found a great place for my threading and tinting needs. And now I have 2 options...yaaaaaaaayyyy!!! read more

I found this place on Groupon for $18.50 and decided to give this place a try, because of how much of a steal the deal was. I've gotten Brazilians many times and they've been quick, easy, and non-painful. Most of all amazing. But like I said, decided to try this place out because of the deal. Anyway. My experience today was totally painful and not worth going to. I don't remember my ladys' name, but she was only talking about giving me deals and if I was going to tip her, that's it. Our session was completely quiet and dull and I got to the point where I wanted to just get up and leave because it was so damn painful. The way she waxed me was completely SLOW and her hands were sliding off. It got to the point where I started bleeding and I almost started crying. This was literally the most PAINFUL experience I've ever had to deal with, not even kidding. I'm sorry but, I'll pass. Cheap waxes aren't good, good waxes aren't cheap. read more
