Food comes out pretty warm but I'm not sure why it's not hot being as it's made and brought right out to you.... . I'm not ready to give them 5 stars. The chicken nuggets are little pieces of chicken breast which are pretty meaty but also pretty chewy. I take a few points off for that but the real thing holding me back is the burger. Tastes fresh, veggies are stacked high and taste fresh but the burger is just not smacking me in the mouth. The patties need to be a little warmer because it's like getting a hug from that fake cousin you see only on family gatherings and you're like heyyyyyy . The Tater Tots get a solid 10 fries perfectly! A definite must have! Not counting this place out, I will definitely come back and try it again. It wasn't crazy busy so that was nice. We had a great experience at Wayback Burgers! I ordered the Chicken BLT with tater tots, and my fiancé ordered the Cajun Burger with fries. The Chicken BLT was flavorful and satisfying, with the chicken, bacon, lettuce, and tomato all working really well together. The food is alright. However, their time management is awful. Several times now, we place an order online and are given a pickup time. The food is never ready and we wait at least another 10-15 minutes more. Today, we placed an order and it wasn't ready until 30 minutes after the pickup time. My husband was told another 10 minutes at arrival and it was at east another 20 minutes. Two employees doesn't seem to be enough staff. This is my 3rd time trying Wayback and the food has satisfied every time! The chili cheese tots were a hit for sure. And so appreciative of the chicken being nice and juicy. The blue raspberry lemonade needed just a dad of sweetener. Getting fries to go hasn't been the best as living about 6 minutes away they shouldn't be as cold if they were fresh and hot. When I was growing up, we were much different and I'm starting to realize that it's just kind of the generation growing up the gal that took our order just didn't seem that helpful nor excited about her job which you don't have to be excited about your job. I just like a little bit more politeness. I actually almost decided not to eat there which I'm really glad I did not because the food is really good The chili cheese fries I would say it's probably my favorite. The cheeseburger was great. I couldn't even eat it all very filling. It looked small. At first I will say looks can be deceiving. The one thing I would say is the chicken tenders for children for the kids meal is very tiny. That was disappointing. Their milkshakes are amazing. My grandson got one of the new ones and he was super happy with it. Food I would give a four out of five service I would give a three out of five I am going to rate this place of four although I feel more like a 3.5. I however, believe everybody has the opportunity to grow. I will say my grandson said the chicken was good which makes me happy. My photos make the chicken look a lil bigger than it is. It was my first time eating here and the burgers here were really good. I downloaded their app and got free burger. The burger was very juicy and cooked perfectly. The bread was nice and soft. The onion rings were decent but only came with a few. I think I ate them in a few bites only. The regular fries were just regular. Not good, not bad. The oreo milkshake was good also. He got the Cheeeesy, with four slices of melted American cheese and two beef patties, and I got the Cajun burger with two beef patties, lettuce, tomato, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and their Cajun remoulade. Both of us enjoyed these, but it's definitely a typical fast food burger. The ingredients were fresh and I enjoyed the Cajun burger, although the bacon was super thin and chewy- I could have done without it. We ordered the buffalo chicken tenders and the flavor was great on these but they did get a bit soggy from the sauce on the way home. Not a big deal though, still really tasty. Been here a few times now and the app is sort of lame because it won't let you use more than one offer at a time. For example if you use the Wednesday BOGO classic coupon it does not allow you to order Happy Hour shakes even on a separate order. The burgers are big and you can add toppings like mushrooms , jalapeño and grilled onions just to mention a few free of charge. Taste wise their burgers are good but nothing special. Their chicken tenders are tender and crispy but the portion was small inside the $9.99 combo box. The double cheeseburger box is the best item on the menu. We have onion rings and tots. The onion rings were perfect however my tots look undercooked. Coupons on the app can't be stacked, and it takes 24 plus hours to load de another coupon. It feels like bait and switch. The burgers are okay. The buns are soft and sweet, and the best part of the burger. If you enjoyed the Golden Arches back in the 70/80's, this tastes like that. The meat was overcooked and under seasoned. Neither of the burgers were prepared as ordered. The onion rings were sad. Pricey and not very many. They were not greasy, which is good, but super dry and unseasoned. The Wayback sauce is gross. Get the ranch. It's watery, but so much better than the Wayback. The aqua Fresca fruit flavor was decent, but it was watered down, and tasted like they're cutting corners for the drinks also. Food is pricey, service is slow, but okay. The parking lot is tight, and shared with numerous businesses. The Classic burger which is two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard is my go-to burger at $9.99. The cashier asks if I want any item left off or if I want to select the cheese (the default is American but was offered a substitution of Cheddar, Swiss, or Pepper Jack). For an extra $4.99, I can add a regular size fries and drink. I can then upgrade a drink to a milkshake for $3,89. The hamburgers are well made and taste great. The lettuce and tomato slices are very fresh. Their fries are also well made and tasty. It took 10 minutes for my order to be ready but I felt the food was worth the wait. The cashier called out my name and bought the food to the table I was sitting at. Service was very friendly. I haven't had their milkshakes, onion rings, or chicken sandwiches but would like to try them in my future visits. I dined in and the dining room was nice and clean. This burger spot has so much potential but I have to agree with the other constructive reviews that if they don't make some changes, I don't see this business lasting. The staff were super friendly. And the shake tasted great. That's where the positives end. The shake wasn't even filled to the top of the cup. Whipped cream was used as a filler. The burgers were completely tasteless and toppings were SUPER cheaply added. There was only a trace of mayo and like 4-5 chopped onions scattered. Not good when the patty tastes horribly like ground beef without any seasoning. Step it up Wayback! The onion rings & tots were crispy but super greasy like the oil wasn't hot when they were dropped. You also don't get much for the hefty price. The ranch is like fast food ranch so it's not tasty either. The lemonades were watered down and the whole drink station needed attention. Lids were almost gone, and the lemonade containers almost empty. I hope the owner pays more attention to the honest Yelp reviews instead of just responding to the google ones because this location is prime for what this place has the potential to be. These burgers aren't cheap, and to have this many mistakes on a single burger is very disappointing. I called the restaurant and spoke with the cashier who rang us up( very nice lady), and I explained the mistakes that were made. Now I don't know if there's a language barrier or if someone just can't read, because the cashier rang up our order correctly, and everything was printed on the receipt. She offered to remake the burger if we came back. Bro I'm not driving back over there. And I tipped before we got our food which I don't like doing for this very reason.
