This is a review for Sunday 8/9/2026 at 11:06am and for the nice young lady at the counter, I didn't catch her name and it doesn't say in the receipt. This is my 3rd day delivering and came across an issue at this location. Nothing with UberEats of course, but with my own personal order. I was getting ready to head back home for the morning and take a lunch break. I saw that KFC had a deal for the "free" 8pc bucket w/$15 purchase, so I placed an order at 12:11pm. Shortly received an email confirming the order. At the same time I got an order pickup request from UberEats. Since KFC mentioned it would take 20-30mins for the order, I went ahead and accepted the delivery request. Walked inside and picked it up for 2 customers at 12:20pm. Delivered the food to the 2 customers in the pocket area and West Sacramento. I arrived back to this KFC about 45 mins later, to pick up my order or so I thought, only for the employees to look at me like I'm crazy saying that the order was picked up already. Yes I know my food would have been cold but I was going home anyway. Anyway, I told them I ordered it through the KFC app, not the delivery apps, and the manager (older gentleman), I'm assuming, confirmed. I was dumbfounded at how this can even happen cause he said that the lady came through the drive thru and mentioned my first name and last initial, which he said she said it all correctly, so they gave her the order. He mentioned how he was surprised that she even got the last name initial correct. Which, who would have guessed in all 26 letters, the correct letter also? That person should go play the lottery! Might get lucky! And to clear some things up, nobody that I knew, knew I was going to be in the area, let alone order from this KFC at this specific time frame. I don't even live in this area. It's either a coincidence or something is going on behind the scenes! Gotta review the drive-thru footage for this one, lol! Anyway, enough detective work. I would have given a 1 star for this encounter or no stars as I would have not been able to get my food that I paid for. Since the manager, or older gentleman, was able to get me my order reimbursed/corrected, I added an extra star. If it wasn't for his customer service, I don't know what I would have done! Dear KFC Corporate, My husband and I visited the KFC drive-thru on August 19, 2025, at approximately 4:38 PM. Unfortunately, the service we received was extremely disappointing. When placing our order, the young man taking our order was rude, dismissive, and rushed us when we were simply trying to ask a question. Once we pulled up to the window, we waited about five minutes before being acknowledged. When my husband politely asked if the store was busy, the young man became angry and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner. At that point, my husband requested a refund, as we no longer felt comfortable eating there. A lady then came to the window, apologized for his behavior, and assured us that she would address the matter. While I appreciate her professionalism, the initial behavior we experienced was unacceptable. After leaving, I also contacted KFC corporate by phone to file a complaint. I am sharing this experience because I believe better training and accountability are needed to ensure customers are treated with respect. My dad placed an order for pick up at this KFC location on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. When he arrived he drove through the pick-up line came to the window and said I have online order that is supposed to be ready to be picked up at 4 p.m. It was 4 right then. The worker said the order is not ready yet please park and I will bring it out to you. My dad parked waited 10-12 minutes then saw worker he spoke with walk out with just a soda in his hand, get in what must have been his vehicle and drive away. My dad waited another 10 minutes. It's now 4:20 or 4:25 pm for his 4 pm pick up order. He has to get out of car with his cane to walk into restaurant. KFC workers said we don't know where your order is. Please take a seat and we will bring it out to you. My dad takes a seat. Another 10 minutes go by it's now 4:35 or 4:40 pm. He comes back to register says he had order to pick up at 4 pm. Worker than says oh it was sitting here in a bag the whole time. Hands my dad large bag, now cold and charges full price. Does not offer to help my dad with his cane to carry bagged food out to his car. Dad brings food home it's absolutely terrible small pieces of cold chicken and were missing a mashed potato. Paid over $40 for just the worst take-out order we have ever had in our lives. This place should be shut down and workers should find a new career.
