I was greeted immediately and told to sit anywhere I liked. Fortunately, there wasn't a wait since it was still super early. Reviewing the menu, they have a great selection of breakfast and brunch items to choose from. I read online that they have chicken and waffles, but when I asked the waitress where it was at on the menu, she said it's not listed there and is an "off menu" item that could be prepared for me. After thinking about it, I decided that I was going to get an omlet instead. I got the greek omelet instead and let me tell you, the portions are huge! Food was absolutely delicious and I ate as much as I could. Service was fantastic and I didn't feel pressured to order anything that I wasn't comfortable with. Water and coffee were always full and my bill came in a timely manner. I will be returning when I'm on this side of town for a good solid breakfast. A seasoned black male employee (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) was so helpful and charming in sharing some of the history of the restaurant with us. He made sure we saw their framed 2024 Award Winner Finalist for Best Breakfast by Click on Detroit - Channel 4. I had the jumbo cinnamon roll, french toast and fresh fruit. My dear girlfriend had the lobster benedict with the potatoes, tomato slices and cornbread. It was a great breakfast option because she doesn't eat meat. We both left here so full. He then told us that if we wanted to leave, we could leave because he was not going to be bothered with us. The bread is at least nicely toasted. The Russia dressing is tasteless. The Greek is old work out iceberg lettuce. The onions are big and not good for this salad. Dressing is thick and bland. The pepperoncini don't taste so good.
