Any restaurant that is chef owned is a restaurant worth trying. This is fine dining food in a casual environment and casual presentation.

This is one of those owner who cares and chefs/cooks who add talent and a little love to excellent food. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. It is uniquely delicious and creamy. We selected the croque madame for one dish. Image added. It was absolutely the best one I've had. The egg was perfect and the sauce was outstanding. I'm on a little bit of a restrictive diet and asked the owner to hold the sauce on my chicken piccata. He begin asking me about my choices for how they could create a delicious chicken dish and help me to avoid some cream, butter and probably rich decadent no doubt unbelievable sauce. They did it. He had the dish made with less fats and so much flavor. They lessened the amount of creamy potatoes and added extra wilted spinach. The entire dish was perfect for me and tasted so good. We saw some really delicious burgers and other foods come out. I highly recommend giving them a try. There is a comfortable atmosphere with a bar and tvs for sports. read more

Tried this new restaurant for dinner tonight. The staff is very friendly and our server was attentive to our needs. We started with the deviled eggs and candied bacon. My husband loved the bacon, but the deviled eggs were not really anything special but still good. We each had a Caesar salad. The lettuce was fresh and dressing was delicious. I had the trout and my husband the lamb bolognese. The trout was very flavorful with a tasty bur blanc sauce. The green beans were delicious, as well. The lamb bolognese was excellent. My husband had the pecan pie for dessert. Neither one of us cared for the flavor, and the crust was chewy instead of flaky. We are so glad to have a new restaurant so close to our house. The food and service was exceptional. We went in for brunch, everything on the menu sounded amazing. We couldn't decide what to order. We ended up ordering the Calamari, Crab Cake Benedict, Corned beef Hash, and the Reuben Sandwich. Calamari was crisp and tender, Crab Cake was fresh and tasty as well as the Reuben. Good food, a little pricey. Nice environment, but not on par with the prices IMO. Service was great, friendly staff. My bourbon had a finger smear around the rim, that started me off on the wrong foot. The menu said they won "Best Burger in Frisco 2024" so I had to try it even though it started at $19 bucks. It was a good burger, but didn't win an award from me. I was expecting the king of all burgers for that price and it was 7 or 8 dollar burger IMO. They don't use organics or hormone free meats because I asked. Sorry to be negative, but I'm just being honest. read more

We wondered into this amazing cozy restaurant by chance. It was the end of the night and we sat at the bar. The chef himself was there and gave recommendations that were spot on. Food was reasonably priced, drinks a little higher but didn't mind based on the fact that the Stars were on and won that night! Great find. read more

Went to WB's for lunch on a Thursday at noon with a girlfriend. Ruben and burger were some of the best we have ever had. Service and ambience were awesome too. Chef was very nice and friendly. I am shocked it wasn't packed with customers. Maybe it's because the meals are implied to be over $30, but the lunch menu was half of that price. I thought prices were reasonable and quality of food very high. read more

My husband and I came here for a date and sadly we were underwhelmed. The deviled eggs were a bit plain and the veal was overcooked. For the price point, those shouldn't have been issues. We just didn't find it worth the value. I WOULD recommend coming to get drinks or dessert here. I didn't see the allure of WB's. We came here during lunch and it was dead (they recently opened for lunch). I ordered shoestring fries and they were chunkier than I prefer but we're still good. The bartender recommended Shrimp and Grits. The Shrimp were small but bursted with flavors. However, the Grits were submerged in grease, fat, butter, oil. It was unappetizing. The chef presented our food and he wasn't engaging nor personable. He just looked tired and overworked. I've heard great things about him so I wish him all the best. read more

Outstanding service, versatile menu, great bartender, and available drinks and wine selection. They have a daily special and last night I had sole. Large fillet, tasty, served over braised spinach, and small, red potatoes. Lightly seasoned. Great presentation. We finished off meal with cream Brulé ( not grainy and served slightly chilled) and decaf coffee with a shot of Baileys. A great restaurant find. Tonight was our third visit to WB's. The food is good and I felt like it was a good place to take our party of 6 for Mother's Day dinner because it's quieter than most restaurants and I thought my 78 year old mother could hear better. Chef Wade Burch came by the table and my mother asked him to bring a Chardonnay. His ego must be fragile because he seemed offended and said he wasn't the waiter but when our server returned we could ask him. My mother was embarrassed by his response because his tone was very condescending. She felt admonished and I felt angry that we spent hundreds on dinner for my elderly mom to feel she'd been put in her place. read more

Made reservations here this past Saturday for 6:45p. Very cute and nicely decorated restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the short rib which was delicious. It had good flavor - not super rich sauce which I appreciate. The rib was cooked perfectly! My husband ordered the lamb bolognese and this was also delicious - lamb vs traditional meat was a nice take on the dish! We were going to order the bread pudding desert but they did not have any due to their pastry chef having an emergency and not being able to come in to make it so it's definitely made fresh. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes! Reservations are recommended - it's a small quaint place with not a lot of tables. read more

The very best places to eat are found off the beaten path. WB's kitchen is such a place. Small, yet mighty with just 12 or so tables and a beautiful bar area. The food was amazing. I had the Shrimp and grits. Raised in south Louisiana and Alabama I couldn't resist the temptation. The staff was attentive to every detail as if I was at a larger chain 4-5 star restaurant. The cherry on top was WB himself was there working both the from and back of house. He made it is pleasure to chat with all the guest. read more

I'm consistently impressed by the items I order here. All of the ingredients are fresh and cooked perfectly. There's plenty of variety: beef, chicken, fish, a multitude of vegetables, and all combined into tasty dishes. Staff have always been friendly and clearly take pride in what they do.
