If no stars were an option, I would have chosen it. our initial service was handled well, however we were never fully spider free. Not even close. When I scheduled a retreatment our technician never showed up, although she said she couldn't get our gate. We we're home all day and never saw the truck, had anyone ring our doorbell, or call us. We texted for a technician to treat the following day and no one showed up. I spoke with two people at the company, who explained that if I canceled the contract before the year was over I would be charged an early cancellation fee. They had no response to my charging them for not holding to their end of the contract. I would rather put up with the spiders than use this company in the future. read more

The technician was a little later than the window they had given me, but he let me know he was on his way. Our technician, Harry, was VERY thorough. Our neighborhood has lots of spiders and we haven't had pest control in years- he swept away a ton of webs. He even turned over all our patio furniture and kids toys in the backyard to sweep it all. He then sprayed thoroughly outside the entire home. He was personable, explained his process, and seemed very thorough. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I had a negative experience with Rory this week. Moved into my home in Menifee last month and was 3 days into my move when he ambushed me at my front door. I was cornered as he was right in front and I was going to get something from my car. I found him to be a bit snide in his demeanor as he stated that everyone in the neighborhood is getting bugs because the builder used bad soil. What I found was that this company is unethical and they prey on people that are at their worst. Lesson learned: Do not answer your door -stay away from sales people unless you are on your game. I was tired and not at my best and I was pressured into this service and decided to join thinking it as a trial period as I was told it was only $20 the first month, was not told it was a full commitment for a year. He then sent me a work order, which turned out to be a contract that stated I was obligated to it. I was running on 3 hours of sleep and had barely cleaned the dust off the porch which the moving truck left. With only 3 hours of sleep or less each night and being overly tired, I didn't connect with the fact that the work order was actually a contract. Fast forward to now which is month 2, I get a text message saying they are coming out and when I responded asking to cancel service, I was told that I will be charged $330. Then, I asked what contract I had signed and he came back with a snide response telling me that his was all in writing and he had my agreement. I looked at the contract and in the fine print it said "buyer agrees to auto debit" which was a complete and total lie. He had never discussed taking automatic payments from my bank because I never would agree to that. He got me so upset that I had to call my bank and go there and cancel my debit card and get a new one, in order to protect myself. Realizing he still had my digits, I was starting to feel concerned that he will go as far as to charge additional charges or commit some other fraudulent practice. I reported it to my bank on Monday and they sent me a new card. Lesson learned; do NOT OPEN THE DOOR FOR THIS Co. I will NEVER use this company for any services ever again. Also, seeing Dawn and Dave's comments in June assure me that I am not the only one here with this experience. This company is relentless and tacky when it comes to getting new business. They are also a family run business and it's hard to excuse one person's behavior when they are all part of one family unit. It's not like you can say they have one bad employee! I think they all do this and other stuff to gain business. See the comments from Dave and Noah in June and you will know that I am telling the truth here. How does any person not see solicitation signs telling them NOT to approach and then ignore them? No one will do that unless they are arrogant and self centered and just DO NOT care about other people. read more

We were using Terminix before and their service was so-so, nothing to feel compelled to review. I was open to switching to a new company and then Pierce shows up at my door. He was very friendly and not pushy by any means. I am not a fan of sales people and usually don't even open the door but this time I'm glad I did. I was able to get the same service at a slightly cheaper cost but with a more personable feel. We Do Creepy even called and cancelled my Terminix account for me so that I wouldn't have to spend an obscene amount of time on hold. Our technician is Richard and he is incredible. His initial service of our house was so above and beyond and thorough. He even went as far as to lift the kids random toys in the backyard to de-web and spray. I have never had a technician do that in the 6 years we had Terminix. Richard is very friendly and knowledgeable and always explains to me what he will be doing during the service. I was approched via a cold call, to change from my exsisting exterminator to Home Gaurd. The salesman was very definitive on how they are a different company. The promose was a intial treatment and then commiting oi Home Gaurd if satisfied, and only if satisfied I am less then satisfied. The spider webs have never been worse! They committed to elimanating !!! I also have ants which also should have been elimanated. I called and sent texts but did not get any response. I finally reached the office yesterday ( 8/3 ) and explained my disatisfaction. I was promised that my problems would be addressed on 8/4 and the technican would text me on a arrival time. I had termite damage and Marc W. did a thorough inspection, giving recommendations for treating and repairing all damaged areas, as well as preventative treatment for the entire home - including exterior walls and attic. Hired them through my real estate agent during closing to do termite repairs/wood replacement when I bought a new place before I transferred out here for military. They completed the spraying / chem without issue, but when I replaced the roof 2 months after the wood repairs, it was revealed the just removed some of the damaged wood and replaced it from the bottom up. When the shingles were removed it was clear there was still termite damaged wood. I paid $4500 to replace damaged termite wood, and I feel like it was a half solution that was done to cover it up. Being out of state, there was a certain trust the job was done right-- all the termite damaged wood identified was removed and replaced. It was never said in the K or afterwards that only the bottom half of the damaged wood was replaced. Lesson learned on my part, I'll be present for future work like this. read more

So far, I had an inspection done on Thursday, 9/17. I was told there was no evidence of bedbugs, but I want to continue with the treatment because I have had bites for a week and have already stripped the beds, so there may not be "obvious" evidence. I was told by the inspector that they could schedule me on Monday and that someone would call me next day to go over the instructions and confirm. No call came Friday and I attempted to contact the office as well as the "inspector"/sales rep, I have still (3 days later) not received any confirmation of my service dates/s or any call from the office giving me details and instructions. Seems like a not very legit service if they can't even make a phone call when they are supposed to. I'm looking into other services. read more

Update: I just completed the 4-5 treatments. The treatment was very effective after the 1st appointment but I paid for a year service (quarterly treatment). They were very accommodating with scheduling treatment on requested days, the billing manager processed my payments with no issues and the technician John was awesome. I would definitely recommend We do Creepy to relatives, friends and coworkers. I had the pleasure of meeting John in person on my last service appointment and was told he has consistently arrived on time for every service and is always pleasant and personable. Thank you John!
