I usually sit inside where its cooler on these warm humid days recently. They offer combo deals right now which is a good offer for a burger, fries, and drink. Definitely check that out. I ordered a western burger yesterday. Think of the Carl's western burger but like a billion times better. So juicy and the bbq sauce they use is quite distinct. I don't know which one was which but they were both pretty good. If you like sesame seeds their buns have a lot of them. The Chili Cheese Fries ($9) are a decent sized portion and come with chili, cheese, onions and jalapeños. If you're sensitive to spice, make sure to ask for no jalapeños. The food was decent but to be fair, I ordered online for take out and it probably would've tasted better eaten there.

While the burgers aren't bad, the people they hire to hand you your food through the window must be trained on how to look at you as if they would rather kill you than serve you. Don't expect a smiling face or even a "thank you" or you will be disappointed. I bet they instruct their employees "here, before you serve the food, suck on this lemon". I think their employee hiring procedures goes something like this: A homeless, one legged crack whore stumbles in off the street to dig through their dumpster. The manager approaches and asks what she's looking for? The crack whore belches in her face and the manager screams "You're Hired" and slaps a Wedge Burger paper hat on her head and puts her at the window. I was getting tired for my wife's car next door. I got hungry and went to the old high school spot to get a burger & was greeted by the owners husband. He recommended the cheeseburger. I had my heart set on the chicken burger which was amazing and filling for the price compared to the place across the street. Also was offered a free cheeseburger to try it by the same man. They got the best shakes, specially the boysenberry. I go there every Wednesday and Sunday for their Family Special Night Burgers. 6 hamburgers for $6.99, what a steal!!! Nice people and great customer service but the drive thru speakers sucks!! At the end of the day what matters is my food so it is worth it. When I got my burger I thought I was at In-N-Out, but the burger is a bit bigger compared to it, the taste just wasn't there though. It's still not a bad place if there are no In-N-Out near and you get tired of the dollar menu at McD. We got a sausage breakfast burrito and it was simply the greatest breakfast burrito I've ever had. I've been in a spiral of having fancy $15+ coffee shop breakfast burritos that in the moment seem amazing but does not compare to the warmth and joy I got from this one. First of it was under $10 after tax. Second the sausage egg cheese and hashbrowns were mixed so every single bite had the perfect ratio. The tortilla felt homemade and was perfectly chewy. This is simple and just DEVINE and my new go to breakfast burrito spot hands down. Great service great food just spectacular experience, thank you!!

MSG is a neuro-exciter that can make people feel overstimulated or unwell after eating it, and it feels particularly intense in this recipe. * Consistency: Both the Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa locations were great initially, but they now feel more like a solid, middle-of-the-road option. The Best Use Case: * Catering & Events: Even with a three-star rating, this is absolutely the place I would go if I needed catering for a birthday party or a large event. Soy Sauce & Worcestershire Sauce: Both frequently cited in recipes for this sauce, these contain naturally occurring MSG through fermentation or hydrolysis. Nutritional Yeast: Often used to provide a savory flavor, it naturally contains high levels of glutamate.Hydrolyzed Proteins: Ingredients like "hydrolyzed vegetable protein" (HVP) or "yeast extract" are processed specifically to release glutamates. Legally, a company might say they "don't use MSG" if they don't add the pure additive, but that is a technicality. MSG is linked to various health issues for sensitive individuals, and just because many consider it "safe" doesn't mean it's healthy or non-harmful.
