Loved this spot at the Andaz Scottsdale. The views of the mountains and the pool are gorgeous, and the restaurant itself has such a cool, stylish vibe. Even though it was too hot for the patio, sitting inside was just as nice. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our server Brandon took great care of us. The brunch menu isn't huge, but every dish we ordered was delicious. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
Located within a resort, this elevated dining experience is a nice oasis in the desert. We had reservations for brunch, and it was a lovely time We arrived a little earlier than our reservation and we had to wait about 10+ minutes. This was fine as it was a beautiful day, and it gave us some time to explore the property. Everything is picturesque and finely manicured. There's plenty of seating, fire pits, some yard games, and you can even overlook the gorgeous swimming pool The kitchen/restaurant itself boasts "it's more than a meal. It's art." I will grant that the dining space is a tastefully curated artistic aesthetic. There's little accent pieces, fixtures, and art, but again everything works well and is appealing. The dishes were also plated very well There's a handful of different menus, but again we were focused on brunch. They have elevated options for all the classic brunch/breakfast dishes. Everything sounds/looks great. There are cocktails, coffee drinks, and nonalcoholic options. This is a resort and an elevated dining, so, the costs also reflect that The staff were fine. Nothing overly fantastic. Again, we waited a bit past our reservation time, and there were so many open/empty tables. I get that they don't want to over-seat a person or area, but it was way more empty than we expected for the wait. We also had to wait quite a while for our drinks, and then for our meal, and then for the check Everything tasted good. Nothing blew us away, but nothing tasted bad or off either. The portions are fairly hearty except for the avocado toast. This was typical price or more, but it was literally one slice of bread cut in half. That part was disappointing Some tips: You will want to make reservations. While there is plenty of seating, most everyone that dines with them seems to have reservations You can reserve private dining and a chefs tasting menu (curated) If they still have it, the Cheerio latte is delightful Note: the restrooms are shared. There are individual stalls (no urinals), and a shared sink area. So, just a heads up Cheers!
We were looking for a location with something light to eat and stumbled on Weft & Wrap. We followed Google's directions to the location, and once we arrived, we were thrown off by the actual location. It's located in an absolutely stunning resort. We made it to the host stand and were greeted by a huge bar that was very artistic and lots of natural lighting and art hanging on the walls. The name says it all, Art Bar, and it was beautiful. We were seated with no wait time and our server was Brandon. He quickly made us feel at home and went down the menu telling us about light recommendations and drinks. We started off with a glass of wine and a grand Mimosa. The Mimosa was grand in size then to eat we had a bagel and home fries. To hydrate we then had a glass of bubbles and a permanent vacation drink and a modified Sicilian grapefruit. While there Brandon kept the drinks coming and provided great conversation. The service was very quick and everything came out rapidly. We met a few other staff members and had great welcoming conversations about the resort. Dom thank you for the amazing fun time and thank you Brandon for making our first stop on our trip memorable. We will be back!
The sunshine dessert was one of the best things I've eating this year. Absolute perfection. I had the olives as well and they were good but I really hate having to remove pits from my mouth at this kind of place. I feel like the menu needs a couple approachable things so people can sit in the dining room and eat together. I wound up getting an off menu cheeseburger and it was good but would've been easier had I just been able to order it off the menu. I'm all for elevated and adventurous menus if I'm going there for that but here I was tired and had swam all day and just wanted something yummy but didn't want to eat outside in the heat or in my room where there's a 20% and $5 charge to have it brought to you which starts adding up since everything is at least $10. The burger was good so I'm glad Javier made that happen, I just don't think it should've been so hard.

I'm really torn on how to review this you know I had I read so many great reviews, it's won awards, and people say yeah if you're in Scottsdale this is the place to go but I wasn't that impressed and you know I like my food I like good food but well here goes. The service, this is the area that they really struggle with both morning and afternoon and evening I don't know what it is maybe it's like an Arizona thing but the servers with exception of Rachel (she is fantastic and Joseph too), but I guess the other servers I heard it's like they can't wait to just leave their job. I get maybe they don't want to be servers that's totally fine but don't bring me the check as soon as you bring my food I think that is rude. I hate that. I've had breakfast here a couple times the first time the waffles and the hashbrowns totally crispy perfection service was fantastic but the second time everything was undercooked. I'm guessing maybe it's a different chef? A waffle should not be soft because then it's French toast after all you get a waffle for the crispiness. In the evening I got the lamb belly. oh my God it was perfect, so tasty. The meat just fell apart you almost don't need to use your knife. I would definitely order this again in fact we did the next time. I ordered the barbecue chicken off the kids meal. The chicken was not cooked is pink inside and rubbery. Let cater in the Andaz. Casual upscale.
Cute little spot with a modern, cool vibe. The menu is a bit limited but entrèes are presented nicely. Our server, while friendly, was not very knowledgeable/helpful and the service was extremely slow even though only about a third of the restaurant was full on a Monday night. We also found that the bar was not equipped to make several standard drinks and the bartender was unfamiliar with dessert coffees (after telling the server the ingredients of a Keoke coffee to relay to the bartender, the coffee arrived cold). While I love the look of the restaurant, this is not someplace I would choose to return, especially given the limitless options of good food and service available in Scottsdale.
Absolutely delicious food that was overall so impressive in their flavors! The restaurant itself is stunning located in a beautiful hotel. There was live music with a singer that was extremely talented. The server was so helpful with recommendations and checking in so kindly. For my drink, I tried the Eudaimonia and thought the flavors and texture of the drink was unique. I'd order it again. We loved the food we tried including the harvest kale salad which we savored each last bite and the tagliatelle. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for visitors or locals!
I was gift Hyatt Golbalist for my stay, so this included a $100 dollar credit towards breakfast. If the weather is right, I highly recommend outdoor seating. The service was slow and needs some work, but since the food was free, we waited patiently. My favorite out of the two dishes was the chilaquiles with braised pork. If you are staying at the hotel this is the most convenient way to start your day. Cheers!
I enjoyed the potatoes only with the salsa brava on it. The falafel slider was crunchy, tasty and really nice. I look forward to a return to try 2 other items that caught my eye. Christy was a very pleasant server. The weather was perfect to sit outside and watch the sun descend near Camelback Mountain.
We stayed at the Andaz for 3 nights and ate dinner at Weft and Warp 2 of those nights. This place is INCREDIBLE, hands down the best meals we had in Scottsdale. The ambiance is relaxed, hip, and thoughtful. Service is top notch, as to be expected at Hyatt. Shout out to manager Kevin who is the hardest working manager out there. You can tell he has his teams back and is willing to do whatever is needed to help them and the guests. Ok now on to the food. I am still dreaming about the Shrimp Curry starter. Jumbo, and I mean Jumbo shrimp that were so perfectly cooked. The curry was absolutely perfect - flavorful but not over powering. And they will bring you extra bread to sop it all up. Delectable! Then it was on to the skirt steak with red chimichurri. Maybe the best steak I have ever eaten. Truly. Cooked perfectly, high quality, incredible flavor. The Halibut with corn butter - impressive and once again cooked perfectly. The pasta is not to be missed. Handmade in house. We ordered the tagliatelle. 10/10 dish for me. Ok lastly - the gelato. The have us a complimentary honey gelato at our first dinner and then I ordered it as an affogato the next meal. (Which I hope they've now added to the menu!) Thanks to the Weft and Warp team for two incredible meals on our trip. I regret not taking more pictures
I am rarely am impressed by resort restaurants, but Weft and Warp (and the whole resort) really blew me away. The attention to detail in the breakfast menu was amazing. They used local ingredients and really promoted the idea of supporting local businesses. I got the chilaquiles, which had a great flavor and added some Arizona made hot sauce. The inside was so pretty and really made for a nice time.
Time for an updated review. We've continued to make Weft & Warp a regular stop on our dining rotation. Typically very good, and today was no exception. Had the Iberian pork chop... it was delicious. Perfectly prepared, great salad on the side and salsa topping. Christy made the experience even better. Delightful night all around.
This restaurant is located inside the Andaz resort & bungalows. Ambiance: Beautiful, modern, overlooks the pool. *The dining room with the view is a vibe during the day. Breakfast *The bar and outdoor areas with fire pits are aesthetically beautiful. Love the coffee table books you can peruse on the bookshelves while having drinks. However live entertainment & overall music playlist is boring. A shame for such a nice space. Food: We had breakfast here twice during our stay. We had the chilaquiles which was delicious. Fruit was fresh, coffee delicious. Bar: Came for the programmed live music happy hour. Guitar player was singing very sad, boring country songs on a Saturday night! Why not acoustic instrumental songs that make the vibe fun and upbeat? And they advertise this as a programmed event. Another night we ended back here for drinks looking for an upbeat lounge vibe. Super duper BORING. Whoever is programming the playlist intentionally wants to put guests to sleep. And staff confirmed this. They are not promoting a lively and fun guest experience. I'm not talking rowdy. Just upbeat, good music where guests can talk, drink, have late night hangs. Service: Mixed bag. Breakfast: Hostess with pink hair refused to seat us in dining room at first. Tried to seat us by the edge of bar, second try in a sunny hallway behind hostess stand. Said no to both and waited for a nice table in the middle of dining room. Why? The two servers we had on two separate mornings were great! Prompt, friendly & did a great job. One was a tall, slim lady. The other was a blonde and very friendly lady who gave us local tips. Bar: Bartender & server were both great. Overall, we went there because it was inside our hotel. Would I go if I wasn't staying there? Nope.
Two words: great food. Two more words: great service Two final words: TOO LOUD. Way way too loud. (Ok, that's 6 words) We met a friend who we hadn't seen in years. We planned on spending the evening sharing a meal and some cocktails while catching up. Unfortunately, Weft & Warp was not the place to do it. The culprit was the live music. So loud that we had to raise our voices to be heard. I don't hear well with background noise. I couldn't even hear our server. While the ambiance was terrible, the food was good. My husband and I split the rigatoni. The pasta was housemade and quite tasty. What blew this meal away was the burrata. A small disk of gooey goodness sat upon the mound of noodles. One of the specials was a beet salad. Likewise, delicious. We'd planned on dessert but the music was so loud that we opted to go elsewhere for a nightcap. Breakfast the next morning was uneventful. I had the fruit bowl and the pastry board sampler. Excellent choice all around. The berry scone was fantastic plus I had enough for breakfast the next day plus a small snack. Husband had the Chilaquiles. The first couple of bites were good but it quickly turned into a mucky mess. He wouldn't get it again. Weft & Warp was quite pricey but by simply being at the Andaz, that shouldn't be a surprise. Dinner consisted of two pasta entrees, one salad and one of the lower priced bottles of wine and set us back well over $200. Breakfast was included with our room but do expect to pay $10 or more for your caffeine fix. For a hotel guest, Weft & Warp is definitely a solid option. Just bring earplugs. read more

Whenever I'm traveling with Bingo I always ask to see if there is a dog friendly restaurant in the hotel. Weft and Wrap in the Andaz Scottsdale Resorts not only has a dog friendly patio along but they also provide a pup menu for your furbaby. On their pup menu, they offer three proteins, chicken, beef patty or salmon, and I got the salmon for bingo to enjoy. For dinner, I had their traditional Greek salad and the lamb moussaka which was excellent. This restaurant is also where the Andaz provides breakfast for hotel guest. Hyatt Globalist members receive a $100 credit for breakfast. Bingo got a hamburger patty while I had the eggs Benedict with a side of fruits and a spicy bloody Mary. Everything was delicious and staff was very accommodating to Bingo. The patio is a great place to catch the sunset. We are looking forward to our next visit. read more

My friends and I had a great dinner experience here. We sat on the patio with a heater because we brought our puppy. We enjoyed everything we ordered starting from the appetizers, main dish, and dessert. Do not skip dessert, it's worth it! Our server was great, so nice and super attentive! read more

After a great dinner with my group of six, we wanted to keep the party going, so we headed over to Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen. Located inside the beautiful Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows, Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen features an exhibition kitchen, a comfortable and inviting dining room, and floor-to ceiling windows overlooking views of Camelback Mountain. I had been there before for a media event and had a wonderful experience, so I was excited to go back. We all sat at the bar and ordered drinks. The ladies and I stuck to rosé while the guys ordered cocktails and a beer. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. A couple of them even chatted with us. We stayed for maybe an hour before finally calling it a night. read more
This place is very beautiful and vibey for a nice date night! We came on a Friday and there was live music until 9pm. We were sat at a booth which was very comfy. My boyfriend and I split a bottle of red wine, in the middle of dry and sweet, the perfect balance. The server was knowledgeable in recommending a wine for us based on our preferences. I will say I was disappointed with the lack of gluten free options. My boyfriend said he had called and asked if there were gf options and they had said yes. Sure, there was some but more limited than other places for sure. I ordered the side of cauliflower and side of carrots and added roasted chicken for protein. The carrots were tender with some bite to them still, with a nice spiced sauce and cheese for a tangy contrast. The artichokes were soooo good and soft. The cauliflower had a really nice spice to them, very flavorful. They were caramelized slightly. The chicken... not my favorite. Sure I ordered roasted chicken but it had no flavor and was a little dry. My boyfriend ordered the rigatoni and really liked it but wished it was a larger portion! The pasta looked quite fantastic. We had a beautiful night with friends. Live music on Saturday between 6-8 that enhanced the experience. The happy hour menu is phenomenal.- you must get the cheese and meat board. For dinner all our fiches were scrumptious. From the pork chop to the pastas - everyone was happy. Great servers and gorgeous views. read more

This restaurant inside the Andaz hotel is so cute and has a relaxed indoor outdoor vibe. The service and staff were very good and the drinks are really yummy! The reason I gave this spot 3 stars is for the ambiance and service, because the food fell off the mark for us. We tried the shrimp curry, Turkish onion dumplings, bread board, lamb ribs, and olives. The shrimp was so chewy and dry, way overcooked shrimp. The lamb ribs had good flavor but were also overcooked & very dry. As far as entrees, the 3 people who ordered the ribeyes didn't eat them because they were so charred it was inedible. The manager was great and took them off our check since they were not eaten, and apologized. The best things on the menu were the cocktails (although pricey for a tiny drink) and the pappardelle pasta! Skip on the proteins. read more

This place is perfectly located inside the Andaz Scottsdale Resort. It is a beautiful resort and an even more beautiful restaurant. The ambiance was incredible and you could truly enjoy the atmosphere. We made reservations for my birthday dinner and they went above and beyond. The service was absolutely perfect. You know I am big on customer service. I can not express that enough. Attention to detail and attention to everything in general is always important, Which shows in this place. I had an amazing time. We enjoyed every single bite, my dinner and cake was out of this world. And let me tell you, my drinks were soooo good. I think I tried almost everything on the main cocktail menu. The sparkling RosÉ was definitely a hit with all of us! We will definitely be returning very soon. Come down and try it yourself. read more
I ate here a few times for happy hour when I was staying at the hotel. It has a cool atmosphere and they had live music one night. I had the hummus and beets, which were both good. I also enjoyed the cocktails. It got pretty crowded at the bar, so probably try to arrive early if you want to sit at the bar. read more

The food was excellent. So why the 2 stars, there's always more to the story. Service was slow. Painfully slow. I watched people who were seated after us get their meals before our orders were even taken. Some dinners at our table were then served and others not. I was done with my meal before the other couple got theirs. Perhaps they need more kitchen staff. The prices are out of whack. $34 for a pasta dish? It was good, but not $34 worth. Should have gone with the pork chop instead for the same price. A single glass of cheap wine for $24? A beer for $9 in a can? I understand you need to make a profit, but that's ridiculous. Structurally, the dining area is acoustically poorly designed. No soft surfaces to absorb the sound which makes communication very difficult. It was extremely loud with diners, servers, children, and background music. Now let's talk about the lavatory. This is not Finland. Walking into the lavatory to find 10 stalls and a sink complex in the middle. One unit for both men and women. Sorry, I'm not sending my 10 year old daughter in there alone. A friend of mine was in between choosing a spot to have her birthday dinner and she ultimately ended up choosing this place based on their drink and dessert menu. For drinks we got, bites the dust, permanent vacation, and style & grace. Both of us agreed that out of the three drinks, style & grace was our favorite, hands down. We decided that we'd come back just based on this drink alone! After browsing the menu, we decided to order the lamb ribs, Turkish manti, and the agnolotti to share. The lamb ribs were okay, a bit more charred than what we were expecting. The Turkish manti was good, we loved the sauce, it paired nicely with a side of bread. The agnolotti was okay, lighter than what we had in mind. For our main entrees, my friend got the half-roasted chicken, while I got the Iberico pork chop. We also ordered the potato puree and heirloom carrots as sides. My friend said that unfortunately, her roasted chicken was a bit on the drier side. I thought the pork chop was good, had a nice crusting on it, and it wasn't dry which is always a plus, but I didn't care for the accompanying sauce. The potato puree was probably our favorite, it's hard to go wrong with potatoes and cheese, the consistency was just right, not too mushy. My friend said the heirloom carrots were okay, but I ended up really liking them and I usually don't like carrots. For dessert, we ordered the strawberry freezecake and the open sesame. After trying a bite of each other's desserts, we decided that the strawberry freezecake was good as a whole, while the open sesame was good in parts but was a bit overwhelming in contrasting flavors as a whole. Overall, service was great, very friendly, and we didn't feel rushed at any point during our time here. Solid place in Phoenix, especially if you are staying at the hotel. There is also a sunset menu where you get 25% off appetizers. Nice ambience above the pool on the veranda and plenty of space so a little toddler can move around a bit during the meal. MUST GET: Marinated olives. Excellent. Also loved the marinated mandarin peels/chunks. Don't hesitate to eat everything in this dish Laffa bread - excellent soft bread with middle eastern herb on top. Campanelle - excellent flavor and texture. House made. With a touch of nuttiness. SOLID: Steak - sizable. We shared it between 3 people. Chocolate cake dessert SKIP: Hamachi. A bit too fishy or not serveed cold enough. Ask for lemon to douse some lemon juice if you are going to order this one. The rice cracker is not thick enough to carry the weight of hamachi ok top. Carrot side dish: a bit bland. May need a touch of salt here. Cooked very soft. read more
4.5 stars for me, so I'll round up to a 5! Had a wonderful time having dinner and brunch during our stay at the resort. Note: we did use $100 credit on dinner and $60 credit on brunch from our Amex FHR benefits. Saturday night dinner was pretty busy but we got seated quickly with a reso. Our server Sabrina was friendly and happy to make recs! Beautiful view of AZ sunset sitting on their patio. Inside, the live music was chill and nice but really loud from all the chatter. Might be difficult to hear if you're on a date and sitting inside. Now onto the food - menu seems seasonal. Dinner - Lamb ribs: deliciously spiced and fall off the bone good. And I'm not even a lamb person, Pappardelle: amazing!! Not too salty. Perfectly al dente. I wanted more lol Pork chop: Husband loved it, crispy breading on outside and tender meat on the inside. It was a big pork chop that was balanced with a side salad. Americana (dessert): perfect for a chocolate and peanut butter lover like me. Rich and decadent and great way to end our meal. Brunch - Cruffin-amann: beautifully spiced pastry with a crispy outside and tender layers on the inside. Good if you like fig. Arugula mushroom omelette: tons of umami and husband says it was the best omelette he's ever had. He only gave me one bite lol Two egg breakfast: good ol classic breakfast. I chose chicken sausage and it seemed a lot less processed - felt like I was eating actual meat. The toast was also amazing. Prickly pear lemonade: refreshing and tasty. Not too sweet. We hope to return someday! FYI - Sunday brunch was really busy at 11am and even with a reso we waited about 15m for a table and another 20m for food. read more

We were so lucky to stay at the Andaz and enjoy Weft & Warp multiple times! Every single breakfast/brunch we had was divine--I only wish we had more time to try more of the menu! We had some friends over to dinner to celebrate our engagement and we had 3 different types of handmade pasta + various small plates. I'm usually not a huge hummus girl but the hummus small plate was DELICIOUS! Every single part of every experience was above and beyond. If someone got up and went to the restroom, our server came by and neatly folded their napkin for them. The service by every server and bartender was bar none. The ambiance is always elegant, inviting, and peaceful at the same time. Words truly do not do it justice. Outstanding dinner at this cool spot Scottsdale spot. It's sort of hard to find, tucked in as part of the Andaz resort. The rectangular indoor room is sleek, modern and uncrowded. There are a number of tables outside and we took advantage of the glorious weather and a brilliant sunset to dine al fresco. Service is spot on. Our server detailed the menu, helped us pick wine and orchestrated the meal perfectly. Time from order to table about 10 minutes and everything was as ordered. Thank you! Started with an assortment of appetizers. Freshly baked za'atar is painted in oil and spices and served with freshly prepared hummus garnished with a few chickpeas and a pool of garlic oil. Za'atar is crisp and earthy, the hummus creamy, rich and garlicky. Also tried beef dumplings, served Ina pool of garlic yogurt and sprinkled with a mix of spices. A unique taste, very light. Next were slices of cured salmon (lox style) in a base of oil, peppercorn, sumac, juniper, and thinly sliced olives. I want THIS prep for my bagel! Finally, a charcuterie board with feta, camembert, prosciutto, salami, honey, olives, almonds and some phenomenal toasty bread. To say that we were nearly full after the appetizers is an understatement. That didn't deter us from trying a few of the entrees! I sampled the bucatini adorned in a pork-infused sugo, impeccably spiced and sprinkled with stracciatella cheese. The prep is perfect for the bucatini, a thick spaghetti. The sauce is the perfect consistency to complement the pasta without overpowering. Also had campanelle, tossed with arugula pesto and adorned with sliced, halved small tomatoes and sprinkled with stracciatella. Campanelle is cool - very thin and shaped like a flower with a ruffled edge. The pesto is light and very flavorful. I opted for shrimp as a protein. This added 4 enormous shrimp, tails-on. Shrimp were perfect, a crisp crunch to each bite, sweet and firm inside. And outstanding with that pesto! I was treated to a bite of the pork chop by one of my companions. Lightly breaded and perfectly broiled iberico pork chop, it practically melts in your mouth. Lastly we shared a (giant) slice of cake, complete with a candle to celebrate a birthday. It's a multi-layer masterpiece including everything from pineapple to chocolate to vanilla layers. Definitely more than we should have finished but the plate was cleaned! This is an excellent spot for a trendy yet laid back meal. Excellent food, friendly and professional service. Recommended! read more

Weft & Warp has an incredible ambience with a beautiful and relaxing view of the pool on the outside patio! And the food matches the level of the atmosphere as well. The food is truly art; everything looks absolutely beautiful and is full of amazing flavor. The açaí sorbet bowl truly exceeded what I was expecting in terms of flavor! I am usually not a fan of hotel restaurants. This maybe the best yet. We loved everything we had from start to finish. We enjoyed our 2 meals here with a live performer. Our wait staff Sabrina and Miguel were on point! It was a great date night for us. read more
