    Pork Chop Rice Plate
    Austin N.

I always feel warm and welcome here. The atmosphere is calm and the service is great. Prices are very reasonable too. The food reflects the prices - a quick, simple, hearty lunch. My rice plate was $15 and came out hot in less than 10 min. (Takeout)

If you're planning to get over 60 dollars worth of food to go ask to use the coupon to get free chicken wings or fried wontons I chose the wings Make sure in your orders to get the Gan Pa chicken wings ten piece Bomb The flavoring it is similar to San tungs sweetness but the chicken wing wasn't as crispy as santungs I usually love king to change across from San tung but alas, not good parking situations there This cafe here though I went ordered mainly Chinese style food but next time ima eat in restaurant and get pho and their Vietnamese cuisine From what I understand it is a mix of both in the menu but they make bomb grilled pork and lemon grass chicken I would skip out on the garlic noodles as much as it wins me to say, not enough garlic taste But grilled items Vietnamese cuisine? Can't go wrong I got the lemon grass chicken vermicelli Interesting take on the fish sauce dip, much on the seeet side which I was not used to but it was interesting Eat in store for the fried wings, I'm sure it'll be much better experience Pan fried noodles, disappointed because the sauce was much on the salty side, and I will see if they mess up pan fried noodles the noodle in store because if you take it Togo then it'll not be as good since the noodles will be not crunchy but that's the nature of fried stuff The Peking pork chop sauce on the side special request was decent, I got lots of the bones lol Next time: I want to eat in restaurant Fried cream cheese won tons, ganpa chicken, pho, baked pork chop spaghetti with tomato sauce (o never get white sauce on baked spaghetti) and basically all the appetizers Ooh one thing to note Vermicelli noodles and fried egg roll, I will not be getting thy since it th Chinese style one with veggies instead of what I thought was going to be Vietnamese style fried rolls Nevertheless Solid luck and dinner options and they have breakfast items too if you like

    laksa $19
    Jeff H.

Tried the Singapore laksa $19 and it was decent for a Chinese restaurant. It is listed under the pho section of the menu. I opted for the 'combo' for an extra $1 and wasn't quite sure what that meant. The waitress didn't ask me if I wanted extra beef, chicken or shrimps per the menu. When it arrived, it smelled good. There were hints of dried chilies, shrimp paste and coconut milk in the soup. The flavor profile is mid for what is considered to be a laksa. There were pieces of chicken, fish balls, imitation crab (not a fan), quail egg, shrimps and tofu in the soup. I opted for egg noodles instead of rice noodles. On the side is a plate of pho vegetables: Thai basil, steamed bean sprouts, peppers and lemon. It would be better if the soup had a stronger flavor profile by adding some galangal (ginger root), lemon grass or more rempah (shrimp paste.) Instead of the Thai basil leaves, actual laksa leaves, per the dish name, would have been better. Service was fast as there were only three other tables occupied at 6:30pm.

While meeting up with friends, we decided to have dinner at Wei's Cafe. The place isn't large, but they do have a few tables, including a long one that can seat a small group. Our friends told us that Wei's Cafe, also called Jo Jo's Cafe, is a popular spot among locals. Their menu features American breakfast favorites, traditional Cantonese dishes, and Vietnamese cuisine. They also serve a few Hong Kong-style dishes, which I hadn't tried before. We chose to share a few plates, including Chicken Chow Fun, Spicy Garlic String Beans, and Basil Tofu. The food was good, and we all enjoyed the meal.

First time to try their pan fried noodles here, very yummy dish, like it! As always, very nice and helpful staff

    Undercooked baked pork chop

Formally known as Jojos cafe I decided to order from here on door dash. Upon eating my baked pork chop over rice I noticed the pork chop was undercooked. What a waste of $19

    Crab Rangoon

The Crab Rangoon look good, but it was soggy not crispy. Seems like it was fried awhile back and just reheated to serve. Will not order again.

This restaurant used to be JoJo's and has since changed its name to Wei's, though I believe it's the same owner. The food is still the same great quality, with no changes to the price or portion sizes. It's one of my go-to options for Friday dinners and works well for both dine-in and takeout. Sharing the updated menu for reference.

Laksa noodle soup, good depth of flavor
    Ellen H.

Really pleasantly surprised by the big menu and delicious food. Portions are big and prices are not expensive. We got beef pho, laksa curry noodles, garlic noodles with chicken, fried crab wontons, iced milk tea and iced lemon tea. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Lady server was friendly and the food cake fast. We'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

    Chicken Garlic Noodle Plate

Needed to drop something off at the UPS store and was in the mood for garlic noodles. I got the Chicken Garlic Noodle Plate and it was amazing. Generous portion of both chicken and noodles. I paired it with an Iced HK Milk tea which hit the spot on a pretty warm day. Service was very fast, only had to wait about 5-6 minutes for everything to come out. Staff is great as well.

Came here after a long run and it filled me up! Good: - The curry laksa soup was amazing! - The baked pork chop was also amazing - so much flavor - The portion sizes and prices were great- we even took home almost the whole dish since we had so much food left over. - The place is super clean and modern inside, super cute and nice fairy lights and tons of seating, no wait Bad: - The food took a little bit to get to us, and it was really cold inside on a super cold day - The servers don't speak great english so it's a bit hard to communicate Overall would come again for the value.

A small, humble Chinese restaurant with a really warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were polite and genuinely kind, and you can feel the honesty in how they run the place. The food was simple, comforting, and very tasty -- the kind of meal that makes you feel at home. Nothing fancy, just good people and good cooking. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and would happily come back again.

Jo Jo's Wonton Soup (House Special Wonton Soup)
    Victor K.

Wei's cafe also known as Jojos is a Cantonese/vietnamese cafe specializing in Hong Kong style dishes, Vietnamese food, and American breakfast. Upon entering you are transported to a warm inviting cafe that pulls you away from the busy streets of ocean ave and into a homie atmosphere. This morning seemed especially cold and foggy so I ordered the jojo's house special wonton soup. I should have payed attention as I thought it would come with noodles. Overall it was a very simply clean soup with plenty of toppings. Although I didn't really find the dish to be particularly special for a house special, it was filling enough to start the day and warm me up. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a simple mom and pop shop! Service: no frills and straight to business 4/5 Ambiance: Wei's cafe has a rustic charm to it; Brick walls and natural elements all around 4/5 Food: jojos wonton soup comes with bok choy, some shrimp, wontons and a few mushrooms. 3.5/5 Overall rating: 4/5

The food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was so appealing, with the little touches of Thai hospitality. My first breakfast was the Meat Lover's Omelet with House Potatoes. Tasty and it really hit the spot. Great coffee too! Dinner consisted of a flavorful beef Mussamun chili dish. Awesomely tender beef in a savory sauce. A Stella Artois worked well for my drink. My second breakfast was a Belgian Waffle with Chicken Apple Sausage and Scrambled Eggs. Perfection, with fruit accents of banana, blueberries, strawberries and grapes. Thanks to the chefs and servers at Lapisara! I'm a big fan now.

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

There are a few tables outside the restaurant that are slanted on a small hill and a platform with a few tables on the street. We were seated on a table on the hill and had to be mindful of fluids/sauces filled to the brim. Blankets are also provided on each chair in case it gets breezy outside. The menu is set daily, so the dishes can vary from what's shown in previous photos. After ordering, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The summer vegetable hash comes with beans, squash, tomatoes, corn, carrots, peppers and eggs. I typically associate hash with potatoes, but surprisingly this dish does not come with potatoes. The dish was fairly mild, with most of the flavor coming from the individual vegetables. It's definitely a lighter, healthier take on hash and would be a good option if you're looking for something with more vegetables. The plow comes with eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, potatoes and choice of meat. The lemon riccota pancakes were the star of the dish- light, fluffy and not too sweet. The potatoes were crispy. The steak + eggs was a hearty option. The steak was tender and juicy and went well with the chermoula sauce. Overall, I'm glad I got to try this restaurant at least once, but hesistant to come back because of the long wait and value of each plate.
