False advertising. I got a coupon in Midweek, and the coupon reads "FREE Baconator Fry with Any Purchase." When I go to order the free fry along with a drink ,I am told that I have to order a premium sandwich to get the free fry. I tell them that the coupon says with any purchase and they give an excuse that the computer does not allow that item for free unless you purchase a premium sandwich. I tried this about a month ago with another coupon I got from Midweek and they gave me the same excuse about the computer and that they cannot change it. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!. I will contact the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint. They are drawing business on false pretenses. read more

So I bought the Full Parmesan Cesar salad. I don't get dressing, just extra parmesan crisps. But sadly they gave me OLD parmesan crisps. I love to eat at Wendy's but there customer service is HORRIBLE stood there waiting to order for 10mins and the workers just walking back and forth like I wasn't even there. Worst service out of all Wendy's on the island. Long wait times (25 minutes at my last visit), inaccurate orders (more than half the order wrong), cold food and a staff that does not seem to care. I was watching the kitchen, which I had ample time to do, and they were out of cooked hamburger and chicken patties, with not enough staff to even keep up with the lunch crowd. I contacted Luther who is the general manager for Wendy's of Hawaii and he was not helpful. I explained the situation and after giving him many details, he offered a refund but when I contacted him regarding the refund, NO ANSWER and no further communication from him. AVOID! read more

A four squared-patty burger of doom. Like Pandora's Box, I just had to go for it. Call it Pandora's Cube if you must. I ordered this burger by it's name, Meat Cube, and the employees had no idea. Let me tell you, I've done my research. There's Youtube videos of people ordering it by name. So I'm assuming while not-so-secret on the mainland, it's definitely a deep dark secret here. So I explain what it is and they were kind enough to give in to the preposterous idea. Perhaps "The customer is always right" motto came into play here. Without question, they ordered up a triple for me and added an extra patty for a buck more. Out comes this huge monstrosity of a burger wrapped in aluminum/paper/whatever-it-is. I take one bite, it was quite difficult to get my mouth around it. I wish I had a huge mouth like Julia Roberts. Anywho, it was like my heart stopped for a moment. Was it love? Was it my body saying "DON'T KILL ME"? I don't know. I was lucky enough to be with a friend. We asked for a knife and split this burger in half. Even half of it was more than filling. Consistent with Wendy's flavor and texture, so nothing groundbreaking. This is definitely one of those burgers you want to make others eat for a Truth Or Dare game or if you are drunk up the ying yang desiring all food in sight. read more

Wendy's is my favorite fast food option in the state and one of my guilty pleasures. Their burgers are fresher, tastier and of higher quality compared to their competition. The square patties are the undisputed winner. Plus, Wendy's has the Frosty - vanilla or chocolate; you know what I'm talking about. Out of the 6 Wendy's locations on Oahu (Puuloa Road, Aiea, Pearl City, Royal Kunia, Kapolei and Wahiawa), the Aiea location is my favorite. I do dine in here but this is especially so when picking up a late night snack. Even though I live in town and the Puuloa Road location is closer, I stay on the freeway, make a quick exit where the Aiea Wendy's is right there, drive through, then turn around and head home to feed my face in front of Netflix. IMHO the service and flow of the Aiea Wendy's is just better. Driveway to driveway it even works out to be faster...yes, I have timed it. I do have to ding the Aiea Wendy's 1 star because I have noticed some intermittent lapses in service quality lately: longer waits, less friendly and efficient staff, no napkins/ketchup/etc. provided in the drive through. Basically there is noticeably less involvement/interaction by the manager (you can tell by the shirt). I still have the good experiences I am accustomed to, and this is regardless of how busy it is, just less consistently. The good news is that it can be fixed and I hope the Aiea Wendy's does so soon. read more

I was a little disappointed during my recent visit at Wendy's. Since i was in the area, I figured I'd visit since there's not one close where I live. I ordered the Dave's Double and in place of regular, I had the baconator fries. The burger was on the bland side, I don't remember being it this tasteless.. or am I so used to eating McDonald's and Jack' gourmet burgers? It had no taste at all, I could taste the lettuce and tomato more than the beef. I didn't even know lettuces had tastes!! Not even sure if the beef had seasoning. The fries was good. It was served with nacho cheese and bacon. Will order this again. I'll probably get the baconator burger next time. read more

Usually this Wendy's is decent but today we waited for 30 minutes in the drive through line for a mobile order and then they didnt have it ready so we had wait extra. The woman at the counter looked at me like I had three heads when I did that. I'd like a single with ketchup, mustard, and pickle. "The number one? The single with cheese?" I've only eaten from here once or twice, other times I'm just joining someone else as they order. I mean other fast food places probably do the same thing but to actually see how the food was prepped... Yeah I didn't want to eat at any Wendy's after. I mean the place itself was clean but it's the food that people come for. At the same time I don't understand why they have long lines during lunch. Go somewhere else. This Wendy's parking seems to be a issue each time I've tried to go here the parking lot is small so you're lucky if you get one. So far as Wendy's go this has been the only one that has not messed up my order yet. As far as cheap eats go the Jr Bacon Cheesburger is great for that with the value fries and drink two of those Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers and I'm happy. Horrible service here. When I approached the counter, there were three workers who saw me. But they just kept talking each other and I had to wait for three minutes until they finished chatting. And nobody asked me what I want to order for another two minutes. Finally, I ordered and picked up my order five minutes later and requested one of them some ketchups. This is the worst wendys. Came here at 9 at night on multiple occasions and they're always or of chocolate frostys. This time the lady told me they were out of chocolate frosty because they could only make a certain amount of mix per day and because it was Saturday they had run out. Asked to speak to a manager and the manager gave me a completely different story. Suddenly the machine was broken and couldnt dispense the chocolate. Got my medium drink and noticed it was a bit too light, so I took the lid off and checked it, IT WAS HALF WAY. I asked the MANAGER, who gave me our food if she could fill it to the top (since that's what I paid for) she then took the drink with attitude, and came back and told me that "next time, I'd have to fill it myself & walk in." Wendy's is my fav fast food burger place in Hawaii. The burgers are fresh, never frozen and you can order it how you like it. Fries have recently chaged and I love them. Fresh cut with sea salt. You don't have to have fries, if you are trying to eat healthaier, tehy have other options such as sliced apples, salad or chili. read more

Ordered biggie bag and baconator at 12:15am. I understand it's late at night and you want to go home already. But this is ridiculous. The jr bacon cheeseburger bread was rock hard, fries and nuggets was probably cooked at 12pm it was ice cold. The bacon in the baconator wasn't even cooked. Placed a mobile order at ~1230 for pick up at 1245. Showed up at the restaurant at 1245. Parking lot was packed, to include drive thru. Inside the store was packed and hot, if they had A/C it was set at 78. There was a long line of customers waiting to order. Seems the lady working the counter was brand new, she was trying hard but inefficient. Seems the store places all the emphasis on filling drive thru orders, not in store orders. I had to point out my mobile order at 1255 that was taped up behind the register. I got my order at 1:15 PM, annoying! 45 minutes to receive a burger, fries and soft drink. What could be more annoying? You guess it, I drive home to find the wrong hamburger. The special I ordered was switched to a single plain cheeseburger. Back to the restaurant I went. Refund!!! Manager was polite, gave me cash back with no questions. This is the second time I've been to this location and they gave me the wrong order. Wendy's sounded good right after an exhausting bowling session with my friends so I went at about 11 pm. The order taker/cashier was a bit rude. She didn't even greet me at the window, or even say how much my total was. She just reached out her hand, waiting for the payment. She also didn't say bye or anything at all, actually.
