Surprisingly, I'm giving this a fairly decent rating. I've tried different American fast food joints like Carl's Jr., Burger King, McDonalds, and Jack in the Box, and Wendy's is consistently my favorite if I'm going cheap. Why? Their 4 for $4 is the best deal you're going to get out there compared to competitors, and it's very filling. You can a Bacon Jr. Cheeseburger, a small fry, a 4-piece chicken nuggets, and a 21 oz drink or a large Frosty for $1-$1.50 more. The burger is value size, but the flavor is there. The bacon is slightly thick (bacon and cheese on a value burger is usually 50+ cents extra, so for $1 that's a great deal!), the nuggets taste like chicken (not mush), you get a big handful of fries, and their soda is fantastic because of their new Coca-Cola Freestyle machines where you can customize your drink (it's pure flavor, not syrup sitting in a bag). It's fast food, so you can't expect it to taste like a gourmet meal, but for the price it's pretty damn good. I'd rather eat there than McDonalds any day, but that's my preference. read more

I will start with my only 2 complaints... Drive through was constructed by a moron and the tables need wiped off more often... With that said I will end with my love of this place. Great customer service. They've NEVER gtten my order wrong. My food is always HOT and DELICIOUS. The service is FAST. I'm not a fan of wendys new fries but I love the baked potatos. Their value menu is the best in town and the quality of the food makes me forget its fast food. The employees are friendly and always seem happy. I love wendys... well I love this one. I've always been impressed with this Wendy's. I've never waited more than 2 minutes in the drive-through. In fact it seems faster to go through the drive-through than to go inside, which is usually the opposite of most fast food restaurants. Most of the employees are attentive and friendly, even professional. One of the managers is amazing. My food is almost always the way I order it, and I get what I ordered. Food is fresh, not stale. Restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Their hours are good and prices are fair. I know it is just a fast food burger joint, but this Wendy's really raises the bar for its competitors. read more

Worst customer service, including manager. While standing in line, signs were changed from breakfast to lunch. After checking, employee said I could order, but changed when I tried to order something that wasn't already made. Manager confirmed this. At the END of our conversation, it was 10:31am. Exceptional service every time I come through. The food comes quick, I never have to wait long, and they get everything right the first time! This is the only fast food place I'll eat at, because their burgers actually look like the picture (most of the time). Great customer service, great fast food, will recommend. read more

I go to Wendy's several times a week. I have noticed the last week or two that the drive-thru window staff are short on training. Last week the little girl at the payment window didn't know how to make change (even with computer assistance). I gave her ten (10) dollars for an order costing $7.22. At first she tried to give me $8.00 in change (thinking back I probably should have taken it). Anyway, I told her she was giving me too much, so she stared at the computer screen for another minute or so and then short-changed me about $2.00. There is a really noisy fan above this window which makes communication very difficult. So, I gave up and drove through. Today, another girl was working the window and when I asked for a senior discount (about 80 cents on my order) she said she had not been trained on how to do that. So, I paid full price and drove through (not wanting to hold up the cars behind me). The manager is not doing a good job training window staff. Went in to pick up a mobile order. This is the second or third time I have had something I used rewards for NOT get put into my bags (which were also very mixed up) the employees came in behind a lady customer with no mask on, went behind the counters with no mask on, then proceeded to go into the closed off dining area to eat. They were not observing the PPE standards the county put forth. Also none of my drinks had ice again. This Wendy's puts forth very minimal effort these days. Date of service 10/07 late evening shift so they know who was on the clock. read more

Got food tonight SUPER fast. And when I mean fast I mean I literally ordered/paid and received food in maybe 2 minutes. Okay fine, it's fast food. I'm not going to pretend like food doesn't sit pre-made under lamps. But the lady at the window seriously all but threw the bag into the car as I pulled up. The fries were bad. Like room temperature and limp bad. I also asked for extra BBQ sauce, it was repeated back to me and yet I received zero BBQ sauces in bag. Should've went to McDonalds instead. read more

Awesome customer service! The restaurant is nice and clean! The employees were all extremely friendly! The food was absolutely amazing!!! So much better than crappy McDonalds! All of my gamer friends told me that I had to try the baconator and the nuggets here, so I did. The baconator is yummy! The meat tastes like real meat, and the bacon was awesome! I also ordered the spicy chicken nuggets, and they are legit my favorite new fast food item. They paired so well with the siracha sauce. Spell check on siracha? Lol Oh and the fries are amazing too. This is either the 2nd or the 3rd time I ordered a full sized Baconator with no sauces and they got it wrong. Could it be the language barrier (no one spoke English or could understand me when I called in)? My husband took the Baconator back in and, with great frustration, explained that once again they failed to give us what we ordered! They quickly remade the burger. Sadly it was not the full sized Baconator they gave us as a replacement. Further since I had asked for lettuce pickle and tomato to be added they gave us one slice of pickle 1/2 slice of tomato and a tiny slip of lettuce on a Junior Baconator! So, once again, we paid for a full sized Baconator and got a Junior...how hard can it be to get an order right? This used to be a great Wendys...new owners? There is one reason and one reason only that I am taking my time to give this seemingly random Wendy's in Chico California a review. Everyone who has been to one Wendy's knows it is a fast food restaurant, I find it's food to be acceptable especially when I don't have much time and need something quick, however the reason I am giving this Wendy's and not any other Wendy's a five star rating is because... Well once I ordered a kids meal and they forgot to give it to me but thats not the reason why I am writing this review. An employee at this Wendy's once noticed that I had an old Wendy's cup(water) in my cup holder that was blocking the addition of a new Wendy's cup into that same cup holder and in an unprecedented display of customer service yet to be surpassed at any fast food place(not even the prestigious In-N-Out) the employee actually offered to take my cup and throw it in the trash at Wendy's they also took an old bag as well out of my messy, messy car. This review is by no means a review of the entire Wendy's establishment, it is a review of the Cohasset Rd Wendy's in Chico California that contains a brave and dedicated employee that helped me clean my disgusting car even though he or she(I forget which gender this employee was) was under no obligation to do so, it made my day better. For over a year or maybe two I have plotted ways to thank the Wendy's at Cohasset for their customer service without having to actually venture into Wendy's at Cohasset. I would like to recommend that if you are indeed going to go to Wendy's then go to the Wendy's on Cohasset Rd in Chico CA, it is known as the only Wendy's in Chico(I believe) It isn't healthy and I don't know how great Wendy's corporate headquarters are, but I do know one thing. One employee at the Wendy's at Cohasset through a good gesture raised the bar for all fast food customer service. As a side note, after this incident I believed the practice of throwing away trash from one's car to add room for more trash from fast food restaurants was common practice, so I asked an employee at Jack-In-The-Box to throw away a cup for me, they did it but they didn't look happy about it. I felt bad for even asking and I longed for the unparalleled customer service at Wendy's. BRAVO!!! read more

Food was good but the entire time I was in the restaurant there was a large spill near the soda machines. Not sure how long it was there before I got there, but my estimate is that it was there for at least 30 min. I even mentioned to someone behind counter if he was aware of the spill when I picked up my food and he said yes. Not sure why none of the 10+ employees working wouldn't clean it up. The last 3 times through the drive through, my order has been wrong. First time I asked for both burgers without mayonnaise and drove all the way home only to discover that both had mayonnaise. 2nd time I ordered combo with a frosty instead of a drink. Got the frosty and no drink, but they charged me for the drink and the frosty. Today ordered junior burger for my wife and a single combo with frosty instead of drink for me. Got home and had the junior burger, fries and frosty, but no single burger. Finally had enough and drove back to Wendy's. I explained that this was third time in a row the order was wrong and guy taking orders inside just walked away. I asked where he was going and he said with an attitude, "to get the manager". The manager asked if I had receipt and I said the girl at the window didn't give me one in the bag with my order. I explained what I ordered and the price of 7. 49. The he asked what was wrong with the previous 2 orders. I explained those and then he asked me again what was wrong this order. I had had enough and left with no burger and went to Panda. I've always been pleased with the service at this Wendy's & the food is always great. However, tonight ordering from the drive thru, I ordered a Homestyle Chicken Club (#7) the drive thru attendant asked whether i wanted it crispy or grilled. I ordered crispy. Then I saw on the screen the 99 cent crispy chicken sandwich. I repeated my order & he said that's what he put down. I ended up with the dollar menu chicken sandwich which I did not order & even repeated myself several times. I want what I ordered. read more
