if you're craving a late night frosty, don't come to this location. got to the drive thru with about 5 cars in front of me. the line was moving at a slow but decent pace until it stopped when the car in front of me was at the ordering screen. we both sat there for about 5-10mins while the line moved ahead before their order was taken. The second I get to the ordering screen i am told that they are closed and have been closed for the last 11 minutes. EXCUSE ME???? I love Wendy's and it saddens me to have to give it such a low score but this location is just a great disappointment. Apple Pay isn't accepted, when you order from the app for dining room pickup it's locked, and the drive-thru is horribly slow. Every time. I love Wendy's every location always exceeds expectations, I don't even take time out my day to write reviews even if the food was bad. I work half a mile from this location and I've given them 3 tries before giving a review... I get people have bad days, short staffed etc but it's truly wild how everytime I come here the lines are ridiculously long the wait is horrible even if you manage to be 3rd in line. And then you think since they're so busy everything must be coming out fresh right? Because if the lines weren't long it's a possibility they're just giving warned or old food... NOPE NOT HERE. I usually like Wendy's but this location is subpar. I ordered the Italian Mozerella Cheeseburger. After ordering I had to ask for the drink cup because she walked away without giving me one. Waited for 20 minutes and asked when my order would be ready and they all appeared confused. They asked what my order was and 10 minutes later got my order but it was wrong and got the chicken version rather than the cheeseburger and they tried to tell me I got the cheeseburger when it was clearly chicken. Waited another 10 minutes but had to ask if they were making it because they were making other orders until I asked. The burger was flavorless not like the Wendy's quality I am used to. Will never return to this location. The girl who worked the drive thru window on Friday 12:30am was horrible. No greeting.. didn't care. No receipt. Food was cold. didn't really bother me since it was so late. What bothered me was that when my one year old woke up after I paid. I turned around to check on her. Not even a min later I look at the window and the girl is standing there holding my bag with a look on her face like I left her standing in the cold for hours. Okay fine my bad... but then after I take the bag she continued to stare me down as I drive off. That's what killed my experience. I've been to many Wendy's locations in and out of the Sacramento area, and this is the best. Always very polite, always extremely fast service, and I have no complaints about the food. In fact I feel like the mood made here looks better than that at other Wendy's, but that could be my imagination. Obviously there are times when they are busy, but they work hard to catch up. This Wendy's got my order wrong twice in one visit. I checked at the window and noticed a burger missing. When they gave me the missing burger, I discovered it was the wrong kind. We came to the drive-through on the evening of 7/6/2019. We were in town visiting relatives, and wanted a snack for the car as we were headed on a long drive home. There were no cars ahead of us, so we drove right up and ordered the following: * one "4 for $4" with a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, * one double stack, and * one (more) Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. Although they got our order right (i.e. gave us the correct items), the disappointment in the food quality was immediate. Now before all of you haters start chiming in and saying "well, it's fast food, what do you expect," I'm saying it was terrible for fast food standards: * The fries were cold and stale. Absolutely COLD. I mean, we JUST picked up the food from the window and started eating it in the car, right out of the bag. How can the fries not have any warmth to them whatsoever? * One of the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers was hard and stale. There is no doubt in my mind that this burger was sitting around for a very long time waiting for someone to order it... unfortunately that was us. The other Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger was slightly better, but not by much. Still not very fresh. * The only decent item in the order was the Double Stack, which tasted fine. Not very fresh, but not as bad as all the other items. At the end of the day, I know I'm not ordering steak and lobster at a 5-star restaurant. But Wendy's markets itself as having the freshest fast food compared to the competition. Went there last week order two baked potatoes and a meal. When we got home with the food not only were the potatoes brown one tasted like tea. Wendy's fries are my fave of all fast food fries. When I get a craving, I usually hit up this drive thru. Yesterday, I got some and grabbed a couple as I was driving off. They were beyond salty. I think those two fries alone had my daily allotted sodium intake. So, I looped back around and went through the drive-thru again.I told them about the over salted fries and they were apologetic & said they would replace them right away.
