The managers at this location is absolutely RUDE! Today I was told to leave out of the drive thru by a supposed manager. He lied and said his name was Hugo the day before! Absolutely terrible. Your night crew seriously need to be talked to by management. This is the 7th time they try to close early accept one of those people poked there head out to see who was there in the drive they and then RAN back so we couldn't see him. There were three cars in line and were honking to make it clear we could see you guys. We're not idiots, you guys close at 12. Not 11:50 or 11:59!!! Hello to whom it may concern I just had a terrible experience at your restaurant. Chris dressed like a manager use this " are you ready to order" with a rude demanding tone, as a greeting. I ordered twice as I could see they were working on speed of service. The second time the young lady very slender very polite, said hold for one second and explore the menu, no problem... a few minutes later mr. rude (Chris the well dressed white man) says are you ready to order? Pardon me I was told to wait. So I informed him that the greeting was rude, the slender girl apologized repeatedly. I told her she wasn't the problem. So as I'm easing up to the window, Mr. Chris is joyfully handing customers their drinks. When I arrive at the window he disappears and puts someone else in his spot so he doesn't have to deal with " the angry black women at the window) problem, Chris had 3 opportunities to apologize for his rude behavior. He did not which is a poor reflection of a leader, but also as a human being. I'm extremely disappointed. As a black women I have dismissed and labeled my entire life, I was not rude, I hope Mr Chris doesn't treat his employees the way he treats his customers. from management over 17 years of service, KFC, Starbucks) I will say I have never trained anyone to speak like that nor have I used such a rude greeting. Honestly.... Another place that can't train an employee to save itself. First of all, if you would stop interrupting me every three words I would tell you what you're asking. I'd your drive through operators could shut their pie holes for like half a second they would hear me say large and wouldn't have to ask me what size and then force me to say large again. Same with the drink. And spicy or regular. And everything else. If that wasn't annoying enough, once I've finally gotten it through to you what I want and it's correct on the screen you screw up the order anyway. I live with in close proximity to two Wendy's. After visiting both facilities. I choose to go to this Wendy's on Summit. The staff and the store manager here are very friendly. I don't know if it's only this location but their soda fountain is behind the counter so you have to ask for refills. Service was not good. The cashier that took our order was not friendly and welcoming, also not efficient. He messed up our order with the fries, he gave us the wrong size. Good thing the food was good. Judging from the other ratings, this review probably won't be a surprise. After 10 minutes of waiting in line with only 1 person ahead, we placed an order and after waiting for 20 minutes we were told that they ran out of biscuits for 3 of the 4 meals we ordered. We were given the option to get croissants or cancel. Not what we wanted but it's better than nothing especially after waiting so long. Another 5 to 10 minutes passes and we were told they were also out of orange juice! At this point my husband was upset and asked to speak to the manager. Mary came up to my husband with an attitude asking "what? Do you want 70 cents for the orange juice?" He went on to explain the whole situation. He asked for a refund for the meals that were now missing the biscuits and the orange juices and for the more than 30 minute wait for FAST food breakfast. Mary's attitude did not improve after hearing about the inconvenience, instead she said "Well, what do you expect? It's breakfast." Well what we expect is to get what we paid for, not to wait more than 40 minutes to be told that our meal was missing multiple components and then get attitude from the manager. No apology, no customer service. She refunded him for the orange juice but refused to give him any amount back for the 3 meals that were messed up. She said, "I'm not giving you a refund for food that you are taking." Had he not been waiting so long, and if he had taken a refund, they would have had to throw the food away anyway. So, instead of being accommodating or understanding, she earned another bad review for her store. read more

We stopped here on the way to Vegas today (Saturday afternoon) during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was very busy but all the employees observed excellent precautions and were professional. I've been to this establishment many times. I have always received great service. Managers and team have always been positive and professional. I was recently there when a very rude and obnoxious customer was acting out in front of me. And to no supprise, the team member did his best to service the customer. I use to come to this place all the time and never had a problem with my orders. I went today and have had nothing, but problems. Ordered through the drive thru. Was asked to wait on chicken. They said 3 minutes. 10 minutes later I had to go in and remind them of my order. Got it 5 minutes later with a complimentary frosty. Got home and realized our order was wrong. First things first--one of the entry doors was locked. Why??? It wasn't under construction or anything, and the place was clearly open...just locked. Second thing--you get blasted with the winds of Antarctica as soon as you step in. It's like walking in a freezer. A very uncomfortable chill. And then there wasn't anyone at the counter when we walked up. Probably took 5-6 minutes before taking the order of the person in front of us, then we could order. However, those are actually my only complaints! This is actually one of the better Wendy's I've been too in awhile! Food came out shortly--no screw ups and everything was still warm. Came here on a Friday, and there was a long line....Why? Because they only had one person working the register. No bueno. Overall, I love Wendy's, especially their cheap value menu. I love the baked potato with chives and sour cream. I always get that. What stood out at this Wendy's was that they had a worker going around to tables like she was a waitress and asked if we needed any refills or anything else. What fast-food place does that?! That was cool. Then we had this kid go around to tables asking for money to get home to Long Beach to his parents. We asked him what he was doing out here in Fontana and then asked how old he was etc. He looked like he was in elementary but he said he was 14. I didn't buy it, but my friends still gave him $ to help out and try to teach him a lesson. He supposedly came here to visit his grandma. Lucky him there were some nice people out here that gave him a buck or 2. I say his parents and grandparents are irresponsible adults or the kid is just a liar. Anyway, back to Wendy's...this place had food container holders to keep our burgers and other food from spilling. Never seen that before. Loved seeing it, but it is a waste of cardboard. read more
