Don't use mobile order at this location. I ordered on my mobile app, and they refused to give me my order through the drive-through. I even showed him when I had to walk into the restaurant and they were still ignorant. I use the mobile app so I didn't have to get out of the car and leave my children but unfortunately I had to log all my children inside Wendy's just to show them that I use my mobile. Staff is extremely rude and I will never return back to this Wendy's. Just use the Taco Bell next-door so you don't have any issues. read more

Here's what you need to know: very nice friendly service, but food was cold. I asked for a re-make and they happily obliged. Wendy's fresh beef is just superior to most other national fast food alternatives. Period. I was studying late one night and went into the drive through at 1:45 AM (15 minutes before close) to order a burger. The order taker was was friendly and efficient but the service was slow (relative to national fast food chains) and it took about 5 minutes for my food to arrive at the window. I tried the burger while I was still in the Wendy's parking lot and it wasn't hot (not even warm really) so I drove back around and requested a re-make which they happily provided. The 2nd time around it was hot and tasted a lot better. Overall, I think given the speed of service and the quality on the first go around, I can't give more than 3 stars. Overall the food was very tasty once they re-made it and the service was very pleasant. I would go back if I was craving Wendy's (which is about once or 2x a year) My burger and drink was $8 read more

I love Wendy's & eat there all the time - more than any other fast food chain. I had never had a negative experience at any Wendy's until I visited this location. The main reason I love Wendy's is b/c the food is consistently fresher & better quality than its competitors. I especially love the chicken tenders & this is what I ordered my last visit. I went through the drive thru on my lunch break & ordered tenders & fries, not thinking to check the bag because I was in a hurry & I trusted them since Wendy's food is normally perfect. When I got back to my office & opened it I was disgusted. The tenders looked so nasty like they had been burnt & then left to sit out for hours. I ate the fries but the tenders had to go back so I waited til after work & went back to return them. Maybe I was being extra lol but I don't care they were unacceptable. I went back, inside this time, & showed the ppl at the counter & told them what they had given me was not edible. They took them back & said they would make me fresh ones. I stood there waited like 15 mins for the "new" batch & guess what? They looked exactly the same! It really looked like they just gave me back the same exact ones b/c there is no way they had just remade those. They asked me if I wanted any other items instead but by now I was so disgusted that I did not want to eat anything from there period. This Wendy's is pretty quick and the food is consistently good with some exceptions: on my last visit the Spicy chicken sandwich seemed dry and not very juicy. On this last visit I ordered a Dave's double cheeseburger and the first couple of bites were good but the beef seemed to be under seasoned and def needed salt. I should've just ordered a single because the double patty just overwhelmed the burger. Fries were hot and crispy but also needed salt. Needless to say, I'd go back to this location for sure and probably ask for some salt and pepper packets! read more

They always forget the ketchup and sauces during delivery. The food always arrives cold. I honestly haven't had a single order that turned out properly, and arrived with the sauces and ketchup, from this location. My 6 piece nuggets arrived with 5 nuggets and no sauce. It sucks, because I can only get a partial refund, despite the fact that lukewarm fries without any ketchup or sauce are kinda hard to eat. Don't bother ordering from this restaurant, if you don't already have sauces and ketchup at your place, because they will forget it 100% of the time. Waste of money and time with this location. They only deliver through GrubHub, so it's impossible to get them to fix your order, and you're going to have to eat the majority of the cost of your order, no matter how awful it turns out. read more

This is literally the slowest fast food restaurant in the country. I'm writing this while waiting in the drive thru lane; we've been here for 20 minutes and have hardly moved. We keep giving them another chance because we love Wendy's , but it's so consistently slow that I don't think we'll be back. Last time we went here we spent 45 minutes here. This Wendy's can be improved. I bopped over with pals after errands and their bacon burgers didn't have the bacon (that's part of the name lol) and my chicken sandwiches sauce was like a spoonful slipped on one side. The chili was good for the rate. It contains beef and beans and a bunch of diced peppers and onions if you never had their chili and are curious. The ~Frostys~ are good. Decent texture and chocolate almost malted flavor. Wendy's is always going to be interesting zu mir since I had a huge ginger doll that was a replica of the logo as a little girl that scared me; in the dark I'd see the doll propped on the chair watching me as I tried to sleep and thought it'd come alive and wreck havock like the premise of a Goosebumps book or Tales from the Crypt episode or Chuckie. I'm not a huge fan of this Wendy's, but really I only use it for the drive-thru. It's difficult to order because they don't list what you're ordering so you don't know if they have it right or not. I also feel like I have to repeat myself a lot through their speakerphone system. But as long as I can get my chocolate Frosty, all is good with the world. read more

I really like Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich, I am not fond of the their service level. It is almost guaranteed that your drive thru order will be incorrect if you deviate from the menu with a special. My only request when I ordered was a Spicy Chicken Sandwich to be prepared "Crispy" with "Pickles Only"...How difficult is that? Today 1/29/2020 it was very difficult, my sandwich came with mayo, lettuce, & tomato --- NO PICKLES. I am so disappointed. It's not just this location it's most locations - If I go inside and order they usually get it correct, must be the microphone at the drive thru.. Anyway I am at the point of not liking Wendy's, They really need to address accuracy. I recommend the "Spicy Chicken" w/pickles but if you want to get what you order try Culver's for order accuracy. read more

I literally had 10 minutes for dinner and I was starving so a quick stop at Wendy's was going to have to do. If I have to resort to fast food to feed a growling tummy Wendy's is always my first choice and I am usually pretty happy. Not sure what's going on though at my hometown Wendy's. My spicy chicken sandwich was certainly sub par on this visit. It had one limp. wilted measly piece of lettuce, one tasteless, mealy slice of tomato and the chicken, though burning hot seemed somehow not to be cooked entirely through. Each time I wanted a burger and I want it quick, I would not think twice but go to the drive thru in this place. There are many fast food in the area that also has good food but I cannot deny that Wendy's is the quickest. Last time I went to this place, the staff in the drive thru was friendly and kind. I ordered a burger, fries and a drink. The burger and fries were freshly cooked and both are still hot. Food was good as usual and can definitely satisfies my cravings. The place deserves better cause they really provide good food as well as good service. Sometimes staffs aren't friendly but it is understandable especially if the whole place is busy. read more

Past 3 times I have stopped here I have clearly requested no ketchup on my burger. Past two visits, I have stopped inside to rule out problems with the drive-through. With today's visit, it was even repeated to me by the cashier. On a side note, fries are usually cold. I have decided to refrain from stopping at this location, which is a huge disappointment considering it is on my commute and I truly enjoy their burgers. It's a Wendy's location, you betcha. Other than minor touch-ups, it looks about the same as it did in the 90s. But, honestly, it works. Despite the dated aesthetic, the staff keeps the place pretty clean and everything is in good working order. I don't come Wendy's for the ambiance - I'm here for a bag of Dave's Singles and some chili. I can't get them too often, but every once in a while I just get a mad craving for those Dave's Singles, and this location scratches that itch just fine. The drive-thru is open late, and the staff seem to do a decent enough job with the Singles. They aren't very fast, compared to the local Burger King (they're unbelievably fast), but they're fast enough. I've found that if I keep my orders simple, they get it right every time. Their drinks used to be mediocre, with a stingy mix of syrup and only fair carbonation; but I think they recently upgraded their beverage system, since the last few Cokes were decent. For what I want, this Wendy's seems to deliver. I think you might be disappointed if you wanted something more complex off their menu. The crew is friendly, but I think they might be under-staffed, which may be what leads to assembly problems and longer wait times for their more-complicated entrees. Keep it simple, and I think you'll do fine at this Wendy's - especially since the late-night options in Highland Park is a bit limited. read more

DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS WENDY'S YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH IT. I NEVER AM!!! I wish I could give a zero-star rating on this page because that is what this restaurant deserves straight across the board. I'm not surprised this Wendy's only has a two-star rating. (after posting this review, I noticed my review brought it down to 1-1/2 stars - suck on THAT Wendy!) I have never had good service or food from this location. Not since the Taco Bell next door was a previous location of Brown's Chicken. For those of you that know about that and how long Browns Chicken has been gone - that's a long time. When I saw this Wendy's location getting remodeled I had a small increase of optimism that this store was under new management/ownership. I suspect not after reading what I have read so far, what my past experiences have been, and what my ever-so simple, but disappointing visit tonight. I wish they would close this location and build a Culver's in Bannockburn or in Highland Park further down the road by the renovated Target. So my experience tonight was simple. I was craving a chocolate frosty. I haven't had a frost in years. My first frosty was from this location when I was a kid long time ago! First of all, it was around 7:30pm when I pulled in the drive through. There were no cars in the parking lot - not surprised in a way. An apprehensive voice came on the speaker. I told the shy girl, "I'd like a medium chocolate frosty please, and that's it." She asked, "you said a small?" ...."no, a medium chocolate frosty - that's it." I drove up to the window thinking, "I'm going to get vanilla." I got to the window and I had my hand out with exact change waiting for the girl to open the window to take my money: $2.06. I pinch the coins together with the bills and she didn't know how to take the money from me. I was waiting for her to hold out her hand but she was trying to clinch only the bills and not account for the coins. Then she opened her hands and in such a way that I couldn't place the money in the cup of her hand. I remember I had to push the coins with my fingers into her awaiting hand. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Now my experience of eating a frosty the car while driving has never worked out well for me. Since I live in LF, I thought the consistency of a frosty will remain thick and near frozen within the two minutes of travel. Boy was I WRONG!!!! The consistency of the frost by the time I got home was like a melted milk shake: wasn't thick AT ALL!!! There wasn't one ice crystal to be found and there was no way the spoon would stand straight up like I once remembered. It wasn't even the consistency of a thick milkshake. Needless to say, my long-time craving was an utter disappointment!!! Such a buzz-kill. I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER visit this Wendy's again!!!! And just for the record: my past experiences have consistently been much like what others have said - rude illiterate cashiers that do not understand or speak clear english at the window, poorly assembled burgers - very sloppy/messy and sometimes cold, french fries that are luke warm, limp, and barely fill the container, and drinks that consist of full cups of ice with very little drink. This is by far the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. I ordered lunch for four people to go and made sure to go inside to be sure my order was correct. The moron behind the counter had me repeat each item after he entered it into his little cash register. I had one request from a co-worker who didn't want cheese on his burgers and I made this clear to Cheech. I was certain my order would be correct after repeating it, but leave it to these mental defectives to screw up a simple lunch order. Not one thing was correct. My co-worker's burgers had cheese after I specifically asked for no cheese; my order was not even close nor were the others. This place is a fucking joke! On more than one occasion I've ATTEMPTED to get food here on my way home from work after the lobby was closed when you can only get food through the drive through. You only have about a 60% chance of actually getting food I've noticed after the lobby is closed. I've sat there for 10+ minutes waiting for anyone to try to take my order, and they just ignore you, even though they're still open. Even if you go up to the window they're just standing there talking and still won't actually take your order, they just pretend you're not there. The afternoon crew is fine, but the closing crew should be fired... Seriously, who completely ignores a paying customer during business hours? Absolutely ridiculous. read more

This Wendy's has lots of room on the counter between the two cash registers. For some reason they 'stage' Custer orders immediately next to the one register that's always in use. Result is customers and employees exchanging cash just a few inches over partially staged orders. It also creates a bottleneck of sorts on that side of the counter. They should use the register on the customers right side, and stage orders near the other register when only one register is in use. read more

I visited the first Wendy's of my life today - and this restaurant left a terrible impression of the chain on me! The restaurant seemed extremely dated (but I must mention that it was in the process of being renovated).
