We finished work late, and we went to Wendy's drive-thru to pick up some food. The drive-thru is open until 1am, and despite the fact that it was 1am on the dot when we pulled up to the drive-thru, an employee named kainoa, still allowed us to place an order. I know of other places that would have turned us away, due to such a late arrival, so we wanted to show our appreciation toward these employees, who decided to serve us. read more

I love this place, the ceasar salad is a great substitute for fries, the burgers are fantastic, the caramel frosty shake is one of the best shakes I have ever had. Wendy's also supports foster and adopted kids, Dave the founder was adopted and was very active in promoting programs. read more

If it were possible to give no stars that is what this location would get. Their drive thru line is always a 15+ minute wait and there staff is unprofessional. Tonights occasion i waited 20mins to get to the screen to order where i was greeted with "hi sorry we are only taking cash payments right now". Well great! Is there a reason no one told me this 20mins ago! So now im stuck behind 4 cars not able to order and have to wait another 15mins just to get out of the drivethru! And all their manager has to say is " yea sorry we told you it was cash only". F#\÷*in b÷;!&! Yea you told me after i waited 20mins! They will be getting a call from me in the am. Go to the drive through! There's a 90% chance they'll mess up your order! Send you off with nuggets minus the sauce and a small chilli when you ordered a large one with rice or even a kids meal without fries. But there is no way that they'll forget to give you extra attitude. read more

Place definitely got a lot better since I last reviewed. They newly renovated the interior and the night manager is very courteous. They still get things wrong but seems like that's just the norm for fast food here. read more

When we ordered a Strawberry Lemonade with the Spicy Caesar Salad, we told the lady twice that we wanted a lemonade and she said okay, after going up to the counter. We waited for our food and we got everything but the 1 lemonade that we told her and she said she didn't have one at all, and she wanted to charge us extra for the drink because she said we didn't order one. I was so disappointed in Wendy's that they would rip us off like that. They didn't hear what we said and that they didn't put the lemonade on our order. I felt disrespected and she didn't say sorry at all but charged us another. I didn't like her role of cashier because she didn't do her job well and she didn't even give us the drink. Also didn't give us a recipe to show that we told her that we ordered the lemonade. This is the first time this ever happen to us and that I never thought Wendy's would just rip us off. I can't believe people these days should listen and always be doing their roles without slacking off. Wendy's was recently renovated, and looks a little better. Notice I said a little better? It is because they forgot to renovate their service counter personnel on great customer services! They don't smile or greet you, they act like we owe them their business! They half listen to their customers and always end up getting your order wrong, and you bring it to them, they get aggressive instead of apologetic. If they want to increase their business, management needs to retrain their counter service personnel on good customer service. I will not recommend this Wendy's to all my family and friends for sure! This is for the new Wendy's by Ka Makana mall. Their website says and shows a breakfast menu with biscuits, panini, sausage, etc . .... but guess what. When you go there, there ain't any breakfast. And when you mention to them their website says you do, (you know just to let them know), they yell at you NO!, we serve burgers all day. read more

so your on a ice run and a hurricane is coming and u need a quick bite? you go to Wendy's and grab jr. bacon cheeseburgers from the drive-thru window. they were fast, hot, and tasty. I even put some in the fridge for hurricane grub later. i really wanted to grab a few bowls of chili but reconsidered after thinking about trying not to fart in an air tight home with no fans to blow the smell out (i actually like the chili here). kudos to the staff for minimizing my time and helping make my ice not melt during transport! read more

Went here tonight after I hadn't been here in years because of my previous experience (see last review). I knew they had renovated, but man, they REALLY stepped up their game since my last review. Renovations are AMAZING and it seems as though they want it to feel homey and similar to a Starbucks, where you can sit, relax, eat, etc as they now have a fireplace right in front of a small sit- down area. The restaurant is very clean - didn't see one scrap, napkin, etc on the floor, and same with the tables. Decor and furnitire are very comfortable, welcoming, and nice! The staff was great too - Ashley, the manager was friendly and asked if we had any questions about the menu as we were deciding what we wanted to order. He even asked us if everything was ok before we left the store! Top notch! You just don't get that at any other "fast food" joint. Last, but not least, my favorite part of my experience there - the soda machine! Haven't seen this anywhere else - all digital and a ton of different flavors. We had the Lime Fanta, which I've never seen anywhere else, and it was good! Needless to say, I'm going back just to try another new flavor! Great job, Wendy's! read more

After having a not so great of day, I was really pleased with the exceptional quality of service given to me by Lama, and the young man named Jonathan who rung me up. They definitely brightened up my day. It was also nice to see that Lama was also helping other customer issues on the spot as a food spillage occured on the floor. She was able to balance both the front and back of the house seamlessly, as she cleaned the dining area (wiped each table clean as each customer got up), and was even delegating cleaning tasks to others, as she also swept the floor, and jumped back to the cash register when needed. my gf and I decided to go to wendys kapolei for dinner and pick up food for the rest of the family as well. We drove thru and ordered and noticed the car ahead of us just drove past the window and thought it was weird. The girl took our order smoothly and repeated it back to us and told us to drive forward, we got everything we ordered fast, fries were fresh, and the girl told us to hold on, when she came back she handed us a drink and told us the car before us changed their minds and so they didnt want to waste it and thought we would like it,score!!!:) Such awesome customer service and friendly staff. The family and I ate here yesterday and were really impressed with the service. Even though it was a fast food establishment, they provided better service than most restaurants that I have eaten at. Jody (the employee that was working the counter at the time) was very friendly, curious, highly motivated, and hard working. If something was not ready right away he would have the customers sit down and bring the food over to the customer when it came up instead of having them pile up at the counter waiting for their order to be completed. When no one was in line for food he went around and made sure the empty tables were wiped down and clean. Also if someone was getting up to leave while he was in the dining area he would take care of their trays and trash for them and ask the other customers if everything was ok and if they needed anything (but was actually helpful and not like the annoying waiters that always bug you when ever your are in the middle of a conversation or right after you just took a bite of food). I kind of wish he was working for me in the navy because he had such a great work ethic and attitude. Oh and the food was pretty good to. read more
