Wendy's breakfast eh? Alright. I'll bite. Literally, into one or two of their new sandwiches. Here's my experience. The maple bacon chicken was exactly that. Very sweet but not in a bad way. If you like maple flavor and chicken and bacon, this is a sandwich you'll enjoy. Just don't look at the nutritional value. The croissant style bun only adds to the buttery quality and that other factor I mentioned. The basic bacon egg and cheese on a regular bun is a classic. Hard to mess that up and they gave me exactly what I expected. You won't go crazy for one of these and you probably won't be dissatisfied either. So, Wendy's for breakfast? It's fast food. Honestly, it's not the best, the food was average, the burger I had was slightly warm, and the fries were just on the edge of warm and cold. The service was slow, it took about 25 minutes for my order to come out, and the staff were dismissive and rude, and the ambiance is pretty average as well, overall not too good, the food could have been better made, and the staff need to have better professionalism as well. read more

I ordered at the drive thru, got home after spending $35.97 and found I was missing my 'son of a baconator' and medium fry. I tried calling a few times and received voicemail both times, left a message with my name, what I was missing, order# from receipt and my phone number. I said on message I was sending my daughter to retrieve our missing items. when she got there the manager was rude and stated that she needed the receipt not just an order number. I sent my daughter a picture of the receipt and the manager accepted this. The last time I ordered from the drive thru( @ a week ago) I was missing a few items as well. It is very inconvenient to have to go back a 2nd time on 2 separate occasions! management needs to work on their customer service! Treating my daughter like she was inconveniencing her, instead of being apologetic and helpful. The young man at the window was very well mannered though. Service here was fast and friendly. My food came out hot and fresh. It's been awhile since I've been to this location so it was nice to see that it was remodeled to give it a fresh, clean, modern look. First off- I don't normally write reviews for larger companies like this because most the time opinions are skewed and I get that perspective is important in understanding business. That being said, this location with the staff and the quality, and the overall experience is worth yelping five stars. We moved into the neighborhood about seven years ago and this has been our go to for diet spoil and is also cheap for a family of six. From the beginning, they've been nothing but helpful, friendly, and understanding. The way they handle stress seems to be top notch, which is something you don't get across the street at the other fast food joints. The staff regularly accommodates us, as we have a few picky eaters and us and they make us feel like we're family. IMHO- The other fast food joints don't compare to this place in town. If there's one large company I shop at regularly it'll be this one Wendy's and only here in Lafayette! read more

Look, fast food is typically gross. Let's not sugarcoat what we put into our bodies when we choose to eat at such places. Wendy's is the only fast food I can really enjoy. The people at this location are pleasant and almost always give me enough onions on my burger. Which is a ridiculous amount of onions. Like, more than a person wants. Went drive through order salad and few burgers. Got home and found out they gave me a half salad and charged full salad price. This has happened more than once!!! I had a few of my friend's fries, and they were somewhat warm -- didn't taste fresh. But, they accidentally gave us an extra side of fries, so we gave it to a random stranger on a nearby street. My sister got a junior frosty, and it seemed to be a nice size for less than $0.80! The interior is clean and modern at this location. The service is also friendly and prompt. I don't really like the idea of fast food, but I can see how it can be really convenient. It's cheap (we paid $3 for med. fries, chicken nuggs, and a junior frosty) and quick (they called my name in about 5 minutes). Wendy's is exactly what they advertise, fresh and friendly. The reason for the 2 stars is because the quality isn't great. Yes the renovations are very nice clean cut and welcoming but the quality is as it was beforehand. Greasy right when you open the delicate wrapping, and leaks everywhere on your first bite. Would definitely like to see what they offer in their fat to actual meat ratio. All in all its a fast food chain and well known to the public with their ever increasing online ( Twitter ) and offline routes ( advertisements ) I'm sure they can afford to spend just a tad more on quality meat read more

Disgustingly my burger was barely cooked past medium, not just pink but reasonably bright pink inside. I suspect as I drove through at 11:42 PM the cooks may have been anxious to go home rather than let the patties cook an extra minute; pity. For over 40 years I have been a fan of Wendy's, since day one. But in all honesty since Dave Thomas passed, 2002 I believe, their food has steadily gone downhill. Tonight we had classic Wendy's single cheeseburgers. The bread is absolutely horrible. Reminds me of the 49 cent loaves of bread you could buy at a thrift store. French fries had little or no salt and for the better part of seven dollars, you would expect to get at least a warm hamburger. Never will I go back to Wendy's. This was the last straw. I think Dave Thomas would roll over in his grave. His daughter has run this place into the ground. read more

Ordered an asiago chick bacon ranch sandwich with spicy chicken. Got regular chicken and the sandwich had no cheese, bacon, ranch, or tomato. It was literally just a bun, a piece of chicken, lettuce, and a ton of mayo.......... seriously Update: went to this Wendy's again because it's by my house and Wendy's is usually my favorite fast food burger. We went through the drive-though on 11/24/2012 and ordered kids meals. My son were sharing his fries and were about half way through when he said "EWWW!" There was not just a hair, but an entire hairball in his fries. It looks like a dust bunny, the type that you'd find on the floor under your fridge, that ended up being cooked along with the fries. The only way something like this gets from the floor to the food is when (A) the restaurant is not being properly cleaned, and (B) proper food safety procedures are not being followed. I no one got sick from it, but this is a symptom of careless management. Who knows what else is being neglected. For your own health's sake, DO NOT eat at this Wendy's. read more

Today I went to Wendy's to get some lunch. After ordering from the drive through I realized I forgot my debit card. I told the clerk to cancel my order that I would just come back when I found it. The manager told the clerk to just give me the food and I could come back another time to pay. I left immediately and returned to pay and the manager told me again that I didn't need to pay right away. I haven't received this kind of help and kindness in quite a while and I know it seems small but it really means a lot. Just the fact that they were all so polite and friendly made all the difference. What a great staff, they really take customer service to the level it should be. Thanks a million guys!!! read more

I mostly get Frostys from this location but I did order food last week. Everything was hot and it was ready incredibly fast. Made me wonder how long it was all sitting under a light, but nothing made us sick and I suppose nuggets, chili, potatoes would all be pre-cooked :-) read more

Do yourself a favor and check out the Boulder County Public Health site visits. You'll read about employees not washing their hands, lettuce being washed in a dirty sink, many complaints of food stored at wrong temperature and foreign objects in the food. Be wise and just look at the creeps working there before you let them handle food you eat. I made a mistake and ended up in the hospital for a week. Owners not responsive at all. read more

The last few times been to this store, the customer is put on hold while the server helps in giving free food to off duty workers, family & friends. Off duty workers walk around kitchen area in street clothes. Alot of horse play and not a very clean place I guess if a paying customer is not important then what is. They really need to clean up this place. Management is as much a part of this as the workers. read more
